The receptionist was very friendly and helpful! The place gave me really relaxing vibes and it was really comfortable while getting the facial because the bed was warmed up! But the facial routine was really basic (just applying multiple products without any facial massage or extraction). It’s really hard to schedule an appointment with them because of COVID, so schedule your session ahead of time.

I came here for a Brazilian wax, everyone was really nice & the woman who waxed me was really nice & talked to me the entire time to distract me from the pain & she did it really fast. I was surprised by how fast she did it, but it made sense once I came home because there was still SO much hair left. Before we started I told her that I wanted everything off so I’m just confused and annoyed as to how so much hair was still left. She also did not wax my upper inner thigh which is what a full Brazilian usually includes. A day later, I started getting these white heads on the area, and the next day it just continued to get so much worse. It looks really gross & I’m just so upset because this did not happen to me last time I got a Brazilian at a different wax center. I don’t know if things weren’t clean or fully sanitized but I’m just incredibly disappointed and annoyed. Would not come here again & do not recommend for waxing.

I became a member back in March after my first massage with Damian. He is absolutely incredible! Being pregnant, my body is always achy and he knows just what to do to make me feel human again. I also have gotten a facial from Lauren here and I felt like we couldve talked for hours (and my skin was in such great condition after)!!This spa is cozy, real, and down to Earth. They are upfront about being busy but are more than willing to schedule you out months in advance to accommodate services. Thank you for taking care of and pampering this pregnant mama!

The masseuse i had Diedre was so nice and welcoming. However, the massage itself was not what i expected at all. It was too soft to remove my foot tension. I would call this touching massage instead of refloxy massage. This is my first time, so i tried it on my foot first before going to more expensive ones and thank god i didn’t rush to a full body as my first try. I would come again trying another masseuse before giving a final judgement about this place.

Damian was completely disrespectful & unprofessional. When my spouse & I arrived & checked in he questioned without knowledge that he assumed I was getting a maternity massage. One of the 2 things you never assume or say to a woman. I was completely & utterly embarrassed & made to feel overweight. And for no reason. He continued to apologize & comtinuely made me feel the same embarrassment one & over again each time he apologize. Speaking about telling everyone what he did & how his feelings were hurt by it. Nevermind how I was hurt & embarrassed.

I went for the first time yesterday due to a Groupon i received! IT WAS AMAZING. I can say its best to schedule your appointment online, and i had zero trouble that way. Be aware its COVID and Valentines day so they are busy but be patient it was totally worth it! William did an amazing job and I am pretty sure a monthly membership is in my future!!

Hot Hands phone clerk was very aggressive about not using the groupon code for a massage. He wanted me to pay more and told me not to use the code. If they do not like groupon, they should not have signed up for it.

I’ve been to Hot Hands on two different occasions, once to get a facial (3/5 stars) and once to get a massage (5/5 stars).Each time I went, the receptionist was very nice and offered me water while I waited.I don’t remember my facial technician’s name, but I would rate the service a 3/5. I was unhappy with the lack of extractions and exfoliation.The massage, on the other hand, was amazing. Deidre was PHENOMENAL and I will definitely be going back for more massages from her. She listened to exactly what I wanted and really worked out a lot of the knots in my back.Each time I was there the owner, Damian, greeted me and seemed very friendly. They seem very customer-service oriented.

I am updating my review for this place. Initially I was having trouble getting in touch with the spa but that was resolved. So, here I give this place 5 stars, the massage therapists here are excellent and I always leave the place happy! I always book my next appointment before I leave. As I previously mentioned in my review, except for the occasional communication gap, I really like and enjoy this place. My advice to new users shall be just be a little patient and you shall not regret the service.

Terrible, got a price of $60. For an hour massage. The therapist did not work on the area requested long enough, I get to the counter and the front desk associate says that will be $90. I told her when I booked the hour earlier that day the other associate working told me it was $60. For the hour, she then says, oh well if you have a groupon or this in your email and tosses a paper at me for a $69. Special for the hour, I asked why would the other girl tell me $60. I brought $100. Intending to tip the massage therapist $40. Paid $69. After feeling like I was getting scammed , I will never go back, I left with the hip stiffness that I walked in with less $89. I tipped$20. to be courteous, but it was definitely not deserved

I first found Hot Hands through Groupon. I really enjoy my visits for Massage Therapy with Damian. Ive tried the CBD Oil massage and the Deep Tissue Massage. I enjoy the Deep Tissue the most because it is very intensive in the areas I need it the most (my shoulders are very knotted). Damians massages are very intuitive. I tell him where Im having trouble and he applies the right amount of pressure and attention. Ive become a regular patron there. I didnt realize how much chronic pain I had in my back and shoulders until I didnt have it anymore. Great service!

Hot hands always delivers. This was our second time getting the couples massage and we were not disappointed. It felt like the focus of the massage was largely on my back, which is fine, because I guess I needed it, from the amount of knots I did not realize I had. I would say weeknight and weekend reservations are hard to make, so make your reservations as soon as possible.

Best massage value anywhere around. Damian (owner) is fantastic! Takes customer service to another level. April is definitely my new wax specialist. Ive never felt more taken care of before. Even when I mess up my appointment times, they somehow manage to squeeze me in. Love it here!

I went in as a model to receive a service done by an employee. The owner Damien, asked me if I ever received a Brazilian before while I was waiting. That is not his business to ask a client. Especially since he is not performing the service. It was very uncomfortable to have a man, who is not my wax specialist to ask me if I have ever received that service. Then offered me gift cards for a massage service like I would ever allow him to touch me in a private room. Wouldn’t go back even if the employee who I saw was still working there. He was weird.

Went in today for a couples massage with/for my boyfriend. We will definitely be back. The owner and staff were friendly. We didnt have any troubles booking our massage like some of the other reviewers mentioned. The massages we got left us both feeling better and very relaxed.

It had been about a year since I got a deep tissue massage and was much needed, I dont remember my massage therapists name but she was so sweet and was figuring out the best way to tackle my chronic pain. I left feeling refreshed, loose, and not oily! Im definitely going back sooner than later!

Ive been here many times over the last two years. Ive read other reviews who are upset about the appointment making process, which is weird to me- when I call to make an appointment they are usuallly booked pretty far in advance, but they will put me on a waiting list for any cancellations. They also will contact the owner to see if theres any flexibility in his schedule, so I appreciate that.The long wait for an appointment is worth it, in my opinion. Damian does my massages and is always wonderful, professional, and friendly. I had a facial here one time and it was also very relaxing and nice, but my acne-prone skin needs a lot of experimenting before I find the most effective facials for me. Overall a great experience, a nice atmosphere, and friendly staff!

Had a great experience here! Purchased a Groupon for a couples massage. We live in NJ but it was worth the drive over the bridge to south Philly. Small place (though you have to expect that in a city rowhouse) but clean, the people were friendly and it was one of the best massage experiences we have ever had. They use warm water foot pillows on the massage tables and warm towels on your body as well as warm lotion. Such a relaxing experience! The owner, Damian, worked on my husband. Both our masseurs were super friendly and very good at what they do. Would definitely go back here!

Let me start by saying that the actual services are not bad if you can get an appointment. They cancelled on me twice. Once after they told me to come in for an earlier time and I was on my way. I found them on Groupon and was excited to give them a chance. Now they have lost a potential customer. Their prices are the same as more reputable spas. So without quality customer service, I have no reason to return.

Services were good, but place is kinda dirty. While laying down for services, I had to stare at the dusty ceiling and ventilation system. The amount of dust is caked on, and I didnt care to be laying under it for my services.Staff was nice, but the place needs a deep cleaning and dusting.

The first time I went last year, I had just had a baby and needed the relaxation-NOPE! The girl talked my ear off during the massage. Last week I purchased a Groupon for a 90 minute Moist Heat massage. Ive been trying to make an appointment since. They take walk-ins but have no availability for appointments?? So today I called for the 5th time to try and get an appointment. Only this time, I never mentioned the Groupon and Dina offered me an appointment for Friday at 3 and as soon as I said I have a Groupon she said Oh, Im sorry, that appointment isnt available. Its a small business and to treat customers that way and to not honor a deal you set up with an outside agency is disgraceful. They never have to worry about me ever coming there again.

My sister and I went yesterday and had both massages and facials. I am giving the experience 4 stars because of the people who took care of us. My masseuse was Emily and I cant rave enough! I am a server and am on my feet all day and she really hit every spot with the perfect amount of pressure. My facial was done by Liz, or as some woman referred to her as the blonde latino woman (so rude), and she was amazing! She was super knowledgeable and gave me all sorts of tips that I am already trying. She also took care of my sister Holly and she agrees that she was awesome. Hollys massage was done by the owner who she says was exceptional, very friendly and very professional.The reason for only 4 stars is mainly because of the receptionist. I walked in and she didnt even look up at me, even as I stood there for about a minute. She finally did and no hello, good morning, just name?. I again said how are you and her response was arent you coming I with someone? Same when I left, I walked up to the desk to ask about tip envelopes and she was too busy on Facebook to notice me until I asked her. The receptionist is the first impression and this wasnt a good one. My job also gets reviewed which is why Im taking the time to give Emily and Liz their rave, and as for the receptionist maybe she was just having a bad day but she definitely needs to work on customer service.The place was tiny, no bells or whistles but it had the necessary things.
