Dr Sondheimer is kind, knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. He is very professional and understanding to delicate issues. As a health care professional myself, I can say he was very competent and left no questions unanswered. In regards to the Penn Med Institution as a whole, I say many flaws. One of which recently has me outraged. My storage fees increase 36.5% without any warning letter! I would give him 5 stars personally, but the institution of Penn Med at 3701 Market brings him down. Did I mention I have to drive three hours for every appointment? Dr Sondheimer is worth it and his staff, but I get frustrated with the facility of Penn Med because of many reasons, but they do not make you feel like an individual with feeling. Right now, I feel exploited due to the fact of the 36.5% increase.
I beg anyone looking for a fertility Dr not to go to Penn med fertility (not just not Dr. Sondheimer, but Penn med fertility as a whole)I did months and months of fertility treatments (IUIs and IVF) all which failed. When I got a second opinion from another fertility Dr. He looked at my chart and told me that Penn missed MAJOR issues that were preventing me from getting pregnant and that none of my IUIs or IVF stood a chance because I wasnt getting the help my body needed. One of my issues I was concerned about and called the office and asked if it was something that we should test for and they told me that there was no need.So much money, time and heartache could have been avoided had I not gone to Penn Med for infertility.I love Penn med and use them for everything, but I HIGHLY urge you to look elsewhere for a fertility Dr.
