Dr Tosti and his team fixed my hand from a fairly brutal 5th metacarpal break on my dominant hand. Screw wouldnt do on account of the integrity of the bone fragments, so it was pins... He said he was worried about the potential for avascular necrosis but that concern has now passed. Its not 100% yet, but the last pin was removed today basically 4 weeks after surgery. Now for the PT uggh.Basically, dont mess up your hand... But if you do, talk to this place! Dr Tosti.
