Several years ago I first started seeing Dr. Rho. At that time my eyesight was in extreme peril.Diabetes had caused a blood vessel to burst behind my left eye. I could not see out of it at all.My right eye was also badly compromised as well.Without immediate treatment I would almost certainly go completely blind. Dr. Rho devised a plan of laser surgery as well as keeping my A1C under control.The two essential elements to keeping my eye health under control. Now, several years later, I am doing so well I only see him once a year and my vision is excellent. I am certain without his help and expert skill, I would now be using a cane with a red tip and seeing eye dog. Instead of that, I see far better than most people my age of 63.If the best rating I can give Dr. Rho is a 5 I still give him a 12. His skill level as a physician is off the charts. I would advise anyone with diabetes to make sure to visit him just so you will know you are in the right hands. He is THAT good.

Dr.Rho is an incredible Doctor who’s been a great help to my Mother and myself for 14 years. I normally take my Mother to her primary Doctor for script if needed. I first met Dr. David Rho many years ago when I suddenly developed severe floaters in one of my eyes along with light flashes. I feared I had a detached retina and was referred to Dr. Rho at Soll Eye. Dr. Rho was—as he always is—thorough with his examination. I was relieved when Dr. Rho told me that I did not have a detached retina but rather a less serious age-related problem that did not require treatment and would improve with time, which it did!Some years later, I had a more frightening problem. I went totally blind in my right eye for several minutes before recovering its sight. I called Soll Eye and Dr. Rho agreed to see me immediately. After doing every appropriate test, he could find nothing wrong with my eye per se. He suggested a condition called amaurosis fugax (“fleeting”) might well be the cause and recommended I see a cardiologist immediately. This condition is a type of a small stroke that indicated more serious underlying problems. Dr. Rho’s diagnosis was exactly right. I had an extremely obstructed carotid artery and needed rapid surgery to prevent a full blown stroke and very possibly death.I told Dr. Rho that with degrees from Harvard, M.I.T. and Columbia, I felt like I was getting the president’s personal physician! His erudition is most impressive. In addition to his native English, he also speaks fluent Korean and Spanish. He is thoroughly professional, patient and courteous. I would without hesitation recommend him to any patient in need of a top retina specialist and eye care medical physician.

Stay away... Very rude doctor. Wrong script. Now I have to pay out of pocket for a appointment else where. Because I wasted my insurance on this place. Will never go back.
