If you’re doing the work on yourself by going to therapy at all, you deserve to work with someone who respects you and can at least pretend to have compassion. Omar is not that therapist. Go elsewhere.I stopped going after 9 months when I was in crisis and had a session scheduled. he flaked out a mere two hours before I had a phone session with him-that I’d already paid for- over a claim of construction noise nearby! It’s a phone session, he couldn’t get in the car and drive to a quieter spot? I’d done that myself many times to have privacy during sessions with him. I told him I needed help today, he needed to keep his appointment and this wasn’t right. (He knew what was going on because he’d given my partner an emergency session a few days earlier for the same crisis) He still refused and offered to reschedule for later in the week. I told him to forget it, I’m going to have to find someone else. Then, weeks later, he has the nerve to reach out and say my next appointment “fell through the cracks” and would I like to schedule something?I let him know his flaking out in my last appointment during a crisis was unprofessional and unkind. I will not be seeing him again. All he had to say to that is thanks for letting him know. Incredibly dismissive, rude, and hurtful. When we had in person sessions he was almost always 10-15 minutes late, and did not go over in our time to make up for that. When we switched over to phone sessions during lockdown, we had to text him to get him to call and keep the appointment.

Omar is one of the most intuitive and helpful therapists I have ever worked with. He greatly supported me in being able to confidently heal from a toxic relationship, and learning how to love myself better. 1000% recommend for anyone struggling with anxiety, relationship issues, family dynamics, trauma, etc.

After an initial intake appointment, and over 7 weeks of calls and waiting to hear back to schedule an appointment with a counselor, I finally get called back only to be told that they dont take my insurance even though their web site CLEARLY SAYS MY INSURANCE IS ACCEPTED. They had my insurance info and paperwork for over 9 weeks and could have easily informed me of this before I lost almost 3 months waiting for them to get back to me. Unbelievably unprofessional. I would caution anyone to trust them with something as important as your mental health if this is the level of care they take with their clients.

We have been clients at Hill Counseling for nearly a year now, and I highly recommend this practice, and our therapist Omar Alsaadi, very highly. His calm, focused counseling style, and genuine concern for his clients makes negotiating stressful and transitional periods much more manageable. It is important to have a therapist who is accommodating and flexible, and I would definitely recommend him, as well as Bill Golden (another therapist) to anyone seeking a therapist within the Chestnut Hill/Mt. Airy/Springfield Township area.In addition to this, they work closely with your PCP and/or psychiatrist to assist in treatment and evaluation of issues. My family members have made great progress with his help.

Lots of staff turnover. I saw three different people in three weeks there. No explanation for the change either. They take you up these narrow stairs to an hot unlabeled attic room, which is the only room they actually rent. They have no secretary and no one seems to relay messages- so scheduling or cancellation is a nightmare.Everything about how they operate made it unclear how legitimate they are to practice. On top of that they dont seem to be able to bill properly through my insurance, didnt tell me and then demanded that I pay an extremely large amount of money.
