I had always gone to one dentist my entire life. Due to relocation, I needed to find somewhere else. I have been so incredibly pleased with my experiences at Frankford Dental Care. Every time I go in for an appointment, the team is so pleasant and helpful. They are timely and very patient-oriented. I came in for a procedure I was nervous about, but the team was so thoughtful, caring, and patient. The hygienists and doctor present all cleanings and procedures with such care, that I always feel comfortable. I highly recommend going here! I cant imagine you ever being disappointed.

Solid dental care but the office is run like a collection agency where no one knows your name. Upfront payment is required for all procedures. Charges are high and discounts low compared to other dental practices and the dentist I am now seeing. The final straw for me was Frankford Dental and Dr. Sotelo demanding completion of new patient paperwork prior to an emergency office visit even though nothing changed in my medical history, I had been seen in the previous 6 months and was a consistent patient at the office for 5 years. I was advised I would not be allowed in the office unless I completed the forms on my phone in the car before being allowed in the building. When I suggested this was poor customer service and an unreasonable request for an emergency visit, Dr. Sotelo offered no apologies and repeated the expectation. 5 years of cold fish treatment was enough for me. I made an appointment with a new dentist the following day and have been thrilled. Pricing is 10% less, money is not demanded upfront, and the office staff is welcoming and friendly.Bottom Line: Solid Dentist with edgy business practices and mediocre customer service. I do not recommend.

The moment I walked into the Frankford Dental Care waiting room I knew I would feel comfortable here. The whole atmosphere was warm and welcoming with colorful artwork and furnishings to make me feel at home, or, in the home of a friend.I had two family members highly recommend Dr. Sotelo and his assistants and I am happy I took their advice. Yesterday was my first appointment for X-rays and a check up. The dental examination I received was incredibly thorough ... best ever!

BEWARE!!! I had the worst experience of my life at the office of Frankford Dental. I had no pain when I walked into Frankford Dental, came in for a cleaning. No issues with my previous dentist but decided to find a dentist closer to home, which was a big mistake. Dr. Sotelo examined my teeth and stated I required replacement of a filling. I must remind you I had absolutely no complaints of pain or discomfort when I walked into his office. This resulted in extreme pain immediately after he replaced my filling. Dr. Sotelo did not take accountability for his poor dental work. He completely brushed it off. Thank goodness I was able to quickly find an experienced, knowledgeable dentist. Who agreed to correct the work of Pablo Sotelo. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from Frankford Dental. I regret the day I walked into this office.

Historically, I have a lot of anxiety surrounding going to the dentist. There have been periods in my life where I haven’t had dental insurance or the finances to properly address dental issues so there have been so many insecurities surrounding my smile. I have, also, dealt with dental practices who didn’t always have the best bed side manner which further heightened my anxiety and avoidance around going to the dentist.However! Present day, I am, finally, working on addressing much needed dental care and have found Dr. Sotelo and his staff to be understanding and patient with me and my anxiety!! I cannot recommend them enough. If you have any insecurities or shame in how your smile or dental care have been in the past, they will help you! Literally, everyone is so nice and reassuring. I have lived in multiple states (MS-MA-FL and now PA) and it has been the best experience by far.As far as, Covid, they are very safe and are taking so many precautions-self report check list, temperature checks and everyone wears a mask. I feel completely safe having my work done at this time.So if you’re like me and know deep down you need to start addressing some dental care; rest assured there is no judgement behind the doors of Frankford Dental Care!

I found Frankford Dental on the internet because my dentist closed down I called to make an appointment and they were willing to see me the same day. The staff were really nice to me willing to explain everything I needed to know and the doctor was awesome In and out of the chair in less than an hour with two loose crowns reattached. My wife and I both use this dentist. The facilities are very nice, the staff are professional and friendly. I am always taken right away at my appointment time. They are an in-network provider under my insurance, United Concordia. I strongly recommend this dental office.

The staff here are the best! They are prepared for your visit, they take their time and they’re very friendly. Best of all they don’t try to pressure you into getting work done like some other offices do. They present you with your options and let you make the choice of when to have it done. I’ve already recommended a few new patients to them and will keep referring them in the future.

My experience at Frankford Dental was outstanding. After researching new Dentists in the 19114/19020 area, I decided to check out Frankford Dental and my first visit was scheduled for today 12/8/16 but my great experience with them started when I called on 12/7 to inquire about accepting new patients. I spoke to Gail and her customer service was excellent. The great customer service continued when I arrived at my appointment this morning. The administrative is very helpful and willing to explain everything in great detail. The doctor and his support staff were great as well. I had a full examination done and the doctor was very thorough in developing a comprehensive treatment plan for me. Overall I cannot say enough good things about my initial experience with this office. This Dental office is undoubtedly going to my office of choice from here on out. I highly recommend going here if you are in need of a new dentist in the NE Philly/Lower Bucks area.

When I came to this office in late 2018 (my last visit was in early 2009), my teeth had deteriorated a good amount. Dr. Sotelo not only remembered me, but did not once judge me or make me feel uncomfortable about my teeth.This says a lot, considering my teeth have always been my #1 pressure point in terms of self-consciousness.Pristine work, friendly people, and great staff. Would recommend this facility to anyone.

So I like many people HATE going to the dentist. I recently just moved to the PhiLLy area from Miami. I had an extremely bad toothache and needed to find a dentist ASAP! I went online like and Google different dentist around my area, I called many different places but ran into different problems with each one that I called. So I called “Frankford Dental Care” and from the start the lady in the phone (who’s also from Florida) was very nice and caring. So I came in and automatically felt cozy and comfortable. Then they took me to the back and met with Rosa the dental assistant who made me feel SOOOOO COMFORTABLE! When I was talking her I felt like I was talking to Family and I literally just met her 3 minutes ago. She took X-rays and then the doctor came in. Pablo (the dentist) came in and explained EVERYTHING that needed to be done and broke everything down so I can understand in greater detail. He looks soo young I thought he was another dental assistant lol. Pablo was awesome also made me feel at ease and relax. When I was done talking to him the front office staff went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed to make my next appointment just as smooth as this visit. I usually don’t do google reviews but this one REALLY is worth talking about. I rely on people’s feedback from time to time to make a decision so I hope this review was a help to anyone out there looking for a great dentist to go to.

Lets get this out of the way I cant stand going to the dentist. Its one of those things Ive never enjoyed since I was a child. With that said..... Dr Pablo was an absolute pleasure to deal with! His entire staff makes you feel comfortable from the time you schedule the appointment to the day you show up and all the way through the work on your teeth. I had some quick follow-ups to correct some things that I couldnt feel through novocaine and again those visits were a piece of cake.Look at the reviews here people 1 simpleton left a bad review simply because they were asked for information that was needed for insurance purposes you tell me does that warrant 1 star?

Dr. Sotelo is the most personable dentist Ive ever been too. He explains things so that you are fully aware of what will happen in the future in regards to your treatment with him. His front desk, Lois, and his assistants, Angela and Rosa, are extremely nice and caring. Each of them make you feel comfortable about something that isnt always an ideal situation. I think even if I needed a tooth extracted that this office could make it a more bearable situation. I would recommend this office to anyone.

Ever since my family moved to Philadelphia over 12 years ago, we have been coming here for our dental work. Amazing Staff, Nicest Doctor who makes it as Painless as Possible. They are the only place that makes me comfortable when going to a Dentist appointment because I get extremely fearful and nervous about Dentists every time.

First time here....Lois, the office manager, was extremely helpful, professional and engaging. She asked me to fill out the required paperwork and was kind enough to offer me coffee and a snack.Rosa, the dental assistant, explained everything that she was doing and why.Dr. Satelo has great bedside manner; he explained everything he was doing, in laymans terms and outlined a course of action.The office was clean, nicely decorated and well lit. Parking was fine.

This was my first visit. I had bad tooth pain and did not have a dentist. They took me immediately. The office was beautiful and very clean. The staff could not have been more friendly. The doctor explained everything so I could understand and took care of my pain. He also gave me his opinion of the cheapest way to get my mouth back to good health again. I am truly grateful.
