Dr. G is THE BEST!!! I injured my back in Nov of 2019. I was told I had a bulging disc at L5 after an MRI. I had extremely sharp pain that would hit me out of nowhere. Awful pain. I went to a chiropractor for 6 appointments and a physical therapist for 8 weeks and my problem seemed worse. I wasnt able to walk correctly anymore and I then had intense muscle pain. I finally found Dr G when one of my neighbors reccommended him. And thank goodness! After my very first appointment I felt an immediate improvement in my walking ability!!! He is extremely k owledgeable and patient. AND he explains everything you would want to know about back issues. He gave me 15 adjustments and THEN Covid19 hit. I was so scared because I could no longer go to him in person for adjustments.So, what does he do? He meets me online every week with an exercise program from another chiropractor with whom he works to strengthen my spine and improve my alignment. In just 5 weeks I went from taking 5,500 mg of ibuprofen over 3 days to taking between 400 and 600 mg every 3 days. My mobility has improved, my pain has significantly decreased. He is seriously a GENIUS. If you have a back problem, THIS is the ONLY chiropractor you should go to!!!!

This is and has been the best experience at Wissahickon Chiropractic. I was diagnosed with public symphysis separation. I have been out of work since I was 4 months pregnant. My son is, now 2 years old. Nothing helped, get my body back in order, the top doctors had me seeing a floor pelvic therapist, another physical therapist nothing. Great practice- Dr. G makes sure to perform a thorough assessment before doing any adjustments. He also does other assistive therapies in addition to adjustments if you need; very individualized. Its a small place so they get to know you and it becomes a community. Id recommend him hands down!

Dr. Galzarano is simply outstanding. His diagnostic skills are on point in that he analyzes your data, and does a thorough clinical assessment before starting his work. He takes the time to understand your condition by he framing your clinical goals based on his assessment. He listens carefully. His prognosis is based on a comprehensive treatment plan and in his re-exams, he re-calibrates the adjustments based on your feedback. He will also consult with your medical doctor if you request it. I have referred and will continue to refer many friends and co-workers to him because of my own experience as a patient.

I have gone to the same chiropractor for years and have felt that he had become a bit burned out, rarely spending more than 10 minutes on my treatments. A friend recommended Dr. G. I found Dr. G after I was hit by a car in early 2006, and have been a faithful patient ever since. I can tell you I wouldnt go anywhere else. He is very knowledgeable, frequently learning new techniques; always researching. He not only adjusts you, but also suggests proper stretching and strengthening techniques. He explains to you what is causing the issue, why and how to remedy it. His staff is wonderful and it is easy to get an appointment. He is the best!

I have had shoulder pain for years, and nothing I did solved my pain issues, After a few sessions with an ultrasonic laser that helps release the trigger points Ive got less pain and more mobility. The BEST doctor in Philadelphia. Dr. G is amazing! He helped eliminate the pain I had without surgery. A neurosurgeon and orthopedics doctor both recommended surgery but Dr. G helped me without surgery at all. He was able to help me within months when other doctors couldnt do anything but recommend that I have surgery. If I had listened, I would still be in pain even after surgery.HIGHLY recommended to anyone in pain. Dr. G is truly a miracle doctor.

My first experience with a chiropractor and I just wanted to share my opinion with other people that are in need of pain relief. After being involved in an MVA involving multiple vehicles, I was really banged up. Anthony came highly recommend to me, still skeptical, I made the appointment. From the time I walked into the office and was greeted by the friendly receptionist. Then I met Anthony who did a very thorough GENTLE evaluation. From two weeks of therapeutic hands on adjusting to ultrasound , traction,water massage table I can say I see vast improvements in my mobility and pain level. If I feel this much better, I can only imagine how much better I will feel with a few more weeks of treatment. It was well worth it. I may just continue with the chiropractor for the pleasure.

A few years ago when I ran into car accident I was looking for a reliable chiropractor. Dr. Galzarano at Wissahickon Chiropractic is truly one of a kind. Unlike other chiropractors Ive been to, Dr. G takes his time to conduct a thorough assessment before making any adjustments. He is specific in the areas he treats -- none of that one-size-fits-all stuff. I transitioned to his practice after going to a very popular chiropractor in Center City, and I couldnt be happier with that decision. I never feel rushed through my appointment (my main issue with my previous chiro), and I always leave feeling so much better than when I first came.

My husband had been seeing Dr. Galzarano for a few months for a spinal problem that had plagued him for years. Within a very short time, Dr G. had him up and on his feet again, back to work and doing quite well. Then, it was MY turn! I hurt something, which means expensive medical tests had a hard time diagnosing the problem -- but Dr. G. had a strong feeling that I had torn a major muscle in my back, given my symptoms. I could not stand upright at all, and sitting down was pure torture! It was as if the top half of my body would not be supported by the lower half anymore -- and he was right! He ordered an MRI and sure enough, something showed up, which was a pocket of fluid deep within my body. More than likely it was a collection of blood and other fluid from the torn muscle, and it just wasnt being reabsorbed by my body. Well, Dr. G. got to work with his cold laser treatments and his unique method of ultrasound treatments. The result? After the previous four months of horrendous pain and inability to walk, stand, sit or even lie down and sleep, I was finally getting well again! Even my orthopedic doctor. here in Roxborough told me to keep on seeing him, as he was very impressed with the cold laser therapy. Additionally, JUST TWO ultrasound treatments and the gut-wrenching pain that I was positive was sciatica simply vanished! I will never forget being able to sleep that night without my hip, lower back, and leg virtually screaming with pain. After two months of his dedicated treatments, I am back on my feet and enjoying life again! In fact, Dr G., I know you will not be surprised to hear I just signed up at the Senior Center for an Interpretive Dance Class!! I only wish I had come to you a LOT sooner, but at least now I know who I can turn to should I ever need pain reduction or relief. Thank you, Dr. G., and bless you always!

I threw out my back on a Saturday morning. I was able to come into Dr.Gs practice as a new patient ON THE SAME DAY. He definately helped! He relieved some pain of the pain in my back and gave me advice on stretches. Very nice guy.

Ive been seeing chiropractors for many years to treat what I thought and told was sciatica. I recently started treating with Dr. G and after two visits he determined it was not sciatica, performed some adjustments and I am no longer in pain. My first experience with chiropractic began with a fall on the ice 15 years ago. Since moving to Philadelphia and finding Dr. Galzarano I have been so happy. Usually just for an adjustment, but when there is a problem, he always seems to find the solution. What a find!

I wish I could give MORE than 5 stars. Ive been going to chiropractors for most of my life and Dr. Galzarano is an absolute superstar. Just like a lot of other people, Ive had a few bad experiences with trying to find the right chiropractor. An old injury came back after sneezing (yep, sneezing) and I made a call after reading all these wonderful reviews. First, I was pleased to find that he could see me the same day, then I was further pleased to find out that he is everything the reviews say, and more. I never felt rushed, I always felt that he had my well-being as his priority. I never felt pressured to make another appointment and, like others here, he offered his cell phone number because the following day he was not in the office but was concerned for my comfort and would see me if needed. I did not need it, but he truly cares for his patients, new or continuing.

I have known Dr. Tony for many years now. If I have a back problem he is my go to guy. And the fact that my wife goes to him says a lot. She was very scared of chiropractors but when I got her to try Dr. Tony he showed her that there are brutes in the profession and there are real pros. Hes a real pro. Now she has no fear and sees him often. The doc has a special touch and I now consider him a friend and advisor!

I am a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. Several years ago I thought I was going to have to take disability retirement due to lower back problems. I was very impressed by Dr. Galzarano. In a short three-day visit to Philly I came up with a severe lower back spasm, for the first time ever. I was incapacitated for hours. When I could finally stand up I went to his clinic on February 8th 2014 (after a friends recommendation). The atmosphere in the clinic was the nicest possible, and his attention and thoughtfulness were already a great reception. In a few minutes of (drug-free) treatment I was tremendously relieved. Dr. Galzarano is an amazing chiropractor! Ive had back and neck issues since high-school which would give me constant headaches. This quickly became my baseline and I just grew to live with it. One weekend I woke up with a severely stiff neck, called the office and was able to come within 15 mins for an appointment. After the 1st adjustment I noticed a difference right away. I have seen Dr. Galzarano throughout the years, primarily related to sports injuries. He first treated me for a pinched nerve that was impeding mobility in my right arm. One treatment and I was pain free.I had a bicycle accident in which I was hit, thrown from my bike and landed on my head and shoulder. Again with one treatment, I was better than new and able to resume riding without any pain.I highly recommend Dr. Galzarano for any chiropractic concerns. I had terrible pain in my right arm and numbness and tingling in my right hand for a very long time. It kept getting worse. I stopped lifting something as simple as a drinking glass or a roasting pan at home and I was using plastic cups and cooking in the microwave. I was afraid to go to a chiropractor; I was scared of the cracking noise. But my pain was breaking through over-the-counter pain meds. Finally, I mentioned this to another doctor and he referred me to Dr. G. I had a nerve impingement in my neck. I felt immediate relief after my first adjustment. I have a desk job, which means I spend the majority of my workday sedentary. Conversely, Im active outside of the office and am passionate about fitness and sports. I play basketball, practice yoga, run and weight train 5-6 days a week.Due to the dramatic shift in activity, I began experiencing some pretty intense tightness in my lower back. The tightness quickly began working its way into my hips and left hamstring, making it difficult to get out of bed or walk around some mornings. I was extremely worried, because this was the same feeling I had as a sophomore in high school, when I tore my hamstring. No amount of stretching or rehab was enough to fully alleviate the pain, and I was tired of walking around like Quasimodo. I knew I had to do something to get back to normal.I placed a call to Dr. Galzaranos office, because its located just a few blocks from my house. I was happy to find out how easy it was for me to get an appointment, and I was able to schedule the exact time I wanted. His staff is friendly and I experienced next to no wait time while I was there. His prices are also reasonable; you wont have to break the bank in order to get treatment.In regards to Dr. Galzarano, I was impressed by his knowledge and professionalism. After a quick examination and a few questions, he was able to diagnose and treat my problem. He thoroughly explained what I needed to do in the future make sure this didnt happen again-- which due to my lifestyle is a definite possibility. Ive been back a few times since my initial visit, and my back/hips/legs havent felt this good in years. Im back in the gym and no longer cringe every time I have to sit down to get some work done.

I never thought that I would need a chiropractor. My friends that see one regularly have been in car accidents. Seriously, they had started in severe pain and had no choice. The only thing I could say that was physically wrong with me was a cough (one which I had with varying severity for about two years) and some stiffness and pain in my right shoulder.One free consultation and a few adjustments later, the cough had stopped and my shoulder pain was gone. Hooray to Dr. Galzarano, When I came to him on Tuesday I had neck pain and spasm. He adjusted my head along with other treatments. I now can sleep on my back. I recommend Dr. G. to anyone who is having discomfort in the neck, back, etc. A great doctor to help you when youre in distress.

I was having severe pain in the hip region. After several attempts of physical therapy, it was suggesred tht I have an eipidural procedure done. I felt that this was too invasive . I spoke with a friend and she recommended Dr. G as she called him of Wissahickon Chiropractic. The results have been great, after 3 visits the hips feels like new.

Dr Galzarano is the best chiropractor that I have been treated by....since the year 2000 I have seen at least four Chiropractors. I have spinal stenosis and a curvature of the spine plus siatica . Over the last 5 years I have pain every day. Dr Galzarano has helped ease my overall pain so that I am able to function again.

I am not one to write reviews , but when one is due it should be written. I recently found myself in the ER for a back injury. When the ER asked me to rate my pain 1to 10, I told them I have never had a pain so bad so it must be a 10. The ER was very typical with x-rays and meds that could make you a zombie. I immediately took myself to Dr. G and with an adjustment my debilitating pain was gone. Yes I was sore ,but the pain that sent me to ER was not there. After going and getting adjustments for the next 4 days, all pain and stiffness was gone. This Doc knows how to help.

I injured my spine doing a military press on a gym machine in college, in the late 1980s. The problem was diagnosed and misdiagnosed by at least four different doctors, but with time the pain mostly subsided. But occasionally Id aggravate it, and would be in pain for months afterwards. This went on for over 20 years.I then went to see Dr. Galzarano after an especially bad episode (I was bent over in pain, and couldnt even sit up to get out of bed, I had to roll off the side), and he treated me for a number of months using his gifted techniques. I can safely say that he cured my chronic pain problem, so much so that the actions which used to cause flare ups dont provoke any reaction whatsoever!This miracle did not happen over night, and the first few visits to Dr. G. were painful with little apparent relief, but healing takes time, and he did in fact heal me, when all those other traditional doctors (one of whom recommended spinal surgery) failed.Plus, hes a warm and generous fellow with very kind support staff. :-) Thank you, Dr. G.
