Dr. Casey is a lifesaver. I threw my back out during quarantine and my regular chiropractor was closed. When I called her, she came into her office and saw me immediately. The first consultation was above and beyond my expectations - from thermal scans to x-rays, her practice is extremely advanced. She identified my issue immediately and developed a treatment plan that gave me both immediate relief and long-term improvement. She uses a drop-table instead of all of the twisting and cracking usually associated with chiropractors. Ive found her to be less invasive and more effective than any chiropractor Ive seen before. When I started having pain in my back and neck, a friend referred me to a chiropractor that would make sounds come from my body that sounded scary. I actually call that doctor Snap Crackle Pop, because he’d literally crack you all kinds of ways. I’d feel better directly after, but the pain would return and I’d have to go back.After going to that doctor’s office more than once on a walk-in basis during a particularly painful day and being turned away due to scheduling conflicts, I did some research on an alternative. Dr. Casey’s approach seemed, via the reviews left by others, to be much more science-based, and the nerd in me loved that. I called her on the spot, and she was able to see me for a consult literally right then.She put me on a tapering schedule of regular visits, and showed before/after progress via scans that mirrored the immediate and long-term relief I felt after her adjustments. Her adjustments are precise and not dramatic at all - they are literally adjustments and not at all a snap, crackle, pop approach.A year later, my back and neck are awesome, and I am so incredibly grateful to have her on my team.In terms of payment, you do have to pay out of pocket and then submit paperwork for reimbursement to your insurance carrier, but Dr. Casey is amazing at providing whatever you need for your claims. Casey is the best! She is the first chiropractor I’ve ever seen that has taken X-ray photos of my spine. I moved from California a few years back and had received chiropractic care on and off for at least 12 years before moving to Philadelphia. I was lucky enough to find out about Dr. Casey from a friend of mine who had recommended her. Her practice seemed different than what I was used to and much more advanced in terms of understanding my overall body. It was super quick and easy to schedule an appointment online through her website. From day one in Dr. Caseys office I could tell she was going to be a great decision for my spinal health. At my initial exam she asked me questions about my history with injuries, accidents, overall health, etc. and she took the time to really understand the pain and issues I was having with my back. Im not going to say she fixed me in one session but what I can say is that one year under her care has tremendously changed the way I feel and what I am able to do. At each appointment she does a thermal scan to see what my spinal temperature looks like and to see where I need the most support, but more importantly she listens to what I say about how I am feeling. She always makes sure that I leave her office feeling better than when I came in versus just adjusting me and assuming Im fixed. As an active runner, indoor cyclist, and mother of a toddler, I get a little out of whack from time to time and so I still require some chiropractic care, but I no longer rely on getting a weekly adjustment like I used to in my past experience with other chiropractors. I would highly recommend Dr. Casey for what she has done to help me.

After stiffening up from doing gymnastics for 10 years, I had seen my fair share of chiropractors as my body adjusted to the professional life of sitting at a desk all day without much stretching. I watched YouTube videos of doctors using thermography scans and wished we had someone around Philadelphia who used that technology. Dr. Casey is the only doctor around I know of who uses this technology along with x-rays to 1.) give patients knowledge behind what’s going on with their pain and 2.) provide her with a way to really zoom in on what area needs the most work.I’ve walked into offices looking like a question mark after throwing out my back so bad. Dr. Casey got me back up and walking in less than half the time other chiropractors have. I have to say, besides the awesome technology that Dr. Casey has, the thing that I love most is not being twisted and cracked! Even getting onto my side to get my lower back adjusted was painful for me sometimes (and then sometimes my back was so bad that it didn’t even crack because the muscles were so strained in that position). There was no traditional lying on my side and twisting my back to get it cracked with Dr. Casey. I was able to find relief and will keep coming back to keep my spine aligned!I definitely think anyone having trouble with results at other doctors should at least invest in the initial consultation to get an understanding of what’s truly causing their issues and why they haven’t seen sustained relief.

I’ve always had back trouble since I worked in a factory lifting 50lb bags of potatoes into a machine all day. I messed up my back recently while working out in the gym. I was in so much pain and in a constant hunched over position. A friend of mine suggested I go to a chiropractor and I’m so lucky to have found Dr. Casey. With her help and advice I’ve been able to jump right back into doing Muay Thai which requires a lot of hip rotation and puts strain on the back. Her blend of chiropractic techniques and use of technology for a more in depth view of results is awesome. I highly recommend her.

I am all about taking care of myself but it can be hard with a busy schedule. Dr Casey was able to arrange my session along with City Hydration so I could also get in a Sport IV before my long practice day for triathalon practice! I felt great and was able to train hard! Not your average chiropractor. The doc first x-rayed my neck and spine (in-office), still and while moving, noting the locked spots. The adjustments that she did with each 10-15 minute session were specific to what I needed. Not full body head to toe adjusting like most chiropractors, if you want that feeling go to a masseuse. I think it was just what I needed. I went to my first appointment with back pain even while breathing. Not only has my back pain almost entirely subsided, but I have much better motion and I feel younger, healthier and healed :) Flexible appointments and downtown... I have had lower back issues for 15+ years. I saw a few chiropractors over the years with Iittle to no success. I had numerous steroid injections to relieve the debilitating pain, running from my lower back to the top of my foot. I was actually considering fusion surgery and spinal cord stimulators. Fortunately, I met Dr. Casey before making one of these major life changing decisions. She explained to me what makes Luminous Chiropratic different. Her approach is to analyze the ENTIRE spine and determine the root cause of the pain, not simply address the pain point. By using motion X-rays, she uncovered an issue in my neck. After 2 visits the “knife-like” pain in my thigh was gone. I was absolutely amazed. By evaluating my entire spine and not just addressing my lower back symptoms, she was able to determine precisely where to treat. Using the proper tools and approaching the problem mechanically is a totally different approach. For me, this approach to Chiropractic care is the best.

Casey is THE BEST CHIROPRACTOR i have ever been to PERIOD. Ive been to 5 other chiropractors none of whom GOT THE JOB DONE. The three traditional chiropractors I saw blindly twisted my back until is cracked in all different way, this felt random and unproductive. The other two chiropractors i saw were network chiropractors who used energy to gently move bones and the results were iffy. Dr. Casey on the other hand uses X-rays and tools to look at how your bones move and to see what bones are stuck. Then she gently adjust the locked bones using a drop table and her hands ( NO BACK TWISTING) and then she uses her tools to check her adjustments.My visits have been effective in reliving my pain and stiffness. BIG THUMBS UPDr Casey is articulate and will explain everything she is doing, I have gotten to learn about my bones, and where they tend to get stuck and twice Ive gotten to see X-rays of the curvature of my spine. Casey is always warm, and always and kind, she is happy to listen me and I am thrilled at the results of her work, she is a great learning experience. ABSOLUTELY the BEST CHIROPRACTOR AND MORE

When a friend first told me about Luminous, I had major back pain from all the time I spend sitting down getting mad money (most of my work is computer based) and also the time I spend at the gym. I used to get major sinus headaches also! A year later and my headaches are far less frequent and less intense and my back pain has completely vanished! I used to have to cancel Tinder dates at least once a month due to my horrible sinus headaches but now I feel like I can continue my life due to my less intense headaches!! Now I only cancel my Tinder dates if I dont like the girl! Dr. Casey is phenomenal. Shes helping me with my back issues. I perform cardiac ultrasound and sometimes as a sonographer working in an inpatient environment I have to perform the ultrasound to immobile patients which is hard most of the times since you have to stand there in some uncomfortable position for 20-30 mins. That is how I hurt my back pretty bad that I couldnt walk straight for couple months. I had PT and SI steroids injections to help my pain and numerous of narcotic drugs to relieve my pain which i refused to take. It got better (or maybe I just got used to it) with time but when I will flare-up it will run down my leg. But then I started to have some weird pain down my arm and I had this horrible pain in my upper back that I will wake up in the middle of the night with this excruciating pain that few times i cried. I have been with this back pain for couple years and I started to get constant headaches and dizziness. AND LET ME TELL YOU this, the BEST decision i have ever made was to go and see Dr. Casey. She is knowledgeable and she really cares and make you feel so comfortable. on the first appt she examine your spine in detail and explain you in detail the problem and the plan. All I can say is that I dont wake up anymore in the middle of the night. The weird sensation going down my arm is completely gone. I dont get constant headaches and dizziness anymore. And my overall back pain has decrease to 90%. im still getting adjusted but we drop it from twice a week to once a month. All I can say is that I lover her and im so grateful with her skills. She also helped my boyfriend with only one adjustment. He is so thankful because if it wasnt for her he wouldnt be able to perform his physical police training test. He hurt his wrist and he wasnt able to perform push-ups. it was too painful to do that move. I took him to her and she made an adjustment and that did the trick. His wrist is completely fine that on his physical training test he did 50 push ups. WE ARE SO GRATEFUL. THANK YOU!!!
