Very peaceful and healing chiropractic office

I’ve been going here for almost a year now! Great doctor, great massages! Very friendly staff and if you’re lucky, you can get the doctors daughter to draw you a self portrait for $1 which is just so precious.

Dr. Chris and his staff are super friendly and welcoming. I’ve tried a lot of Chiropractic places and Balance Chiro is what I was always hoping to find. I have seen great results in the treatments over the last 6 months or so. They have a lot of great herbs and vitamins too and even fresh eggs and honey!Highly recommend!

Very good Chiropractor! Ive been going to chiropractors for many years and he is the best! Lots of good advice to help you work through any issues.

The service was not bad, but I went during COVID and he did not wear a mask, nor did he offer to put one on.

I had a deep tissue massage with Kathy, and it was magical. Perhaps the best massage I’ve ever had. Kathy worked to get my knots out, and it relieved so much tension and discomfort. I then had an adjustment with Dr. Bernabei right after, and I left feeling like a brand new human with a brand new spine. Highly, highly recommend! My daughter loved it, the therapist was able to identify with her sport and where all her tension was build up. Thank you Jamilia, and the receptionist was excellent, did everything she could to make this experience amazing. See you guys again soon.

I wanted my wife to get a massage while in Philadelphia for our anniversary. I read reviews and noticed that Kathy was recommended. My wife was really excited before receiving her session and I was hoping things would go well.Once I saw her, I could tell that my wife really enjoyed the massage! She told me that Kathy put her at ease immediately and everything was fantastic. I would definitely recommend Balance Health Center and Kathy for massage.

I had a Sun Massage with Kathy. It was absolutely amazing. She found a knot around my shoulder blades and worked on it until it felt loose. Even though I was late for the appointment and the massage did not include an deep tissue work, she still gave me a partial deep tissue massage because she found a problem area. I think that shows Kathys work ethic. I was really impressed and hope to come back some time soon.

Let me start by saying, Kathleen was AMAZING !!We came to Philly for a small vacation to visit my brother and decided to get an impromptu massage. I called Balance and was welcomed by Ashley on the phone who was extremely accommodating. She got us in right away and I got a massage from Kathy and my girlfriend from Steven. Both excellent.Kathy was incredibly professional and made me feel completely comfortable and relaxed during the 60 minute Swedish massage. I left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. My girlfriend couldnt stop raving about Steven also. I 100% recommend this place for a nice massage. Kathy and Steven all the way!

Sesame wings was great. Drinks better at the bar than when dining in. It is a mix of a bar/restaurant, beach bar, pub and club in different rooms.

I had a great experience today at Balance! I had my first Brazilian and Barbra was fabulous! She is incredible! I only interacted with a couple people there but they were all very nice. I cannot wait for my next appointment!!

No frills but you dont need them when you have massage therapists that are this good. Cathy is my favorite, but seriously, every person Ive ever had for a massage here has been great. You can buy things on the first floor as well, holistic and homeopathic stuff.

I wish I had 3 hands to give it 3 thumbs up. Needs to change the name to Allstate because youre in good hands

For chiropractic in Center City Dr. Chris is the go to guy. I cant recommend him enough. I have yet to experience other parts of Balance Heath Centers services but can only imagine they are also top quality care. Once you visit Dr. Chris for the first time, youll be sold as well.

The massage was okay, the location is convenient, and there are nice paintings hanging around.... However, I would NOT recommend this place to anyone I know. The massage room was FILTHY. There is a white bench running along the wall of the room I was in, it was covered in dirt and grime that could easily be wiped off. They do not thoroughly clean between clients. My appointment was over at 12:00, I walked out of the room and another woman was escorted right in. Also, they cover the headrests in rough disposable papers that leave marks on your face at the end. Im surprised on the amount of positive reviews... Either the quality depends on which day you go, or the people who love it have never been to a clean luxury spa. There is definitely potential here, but they need to start with a serious sanitation session.

Dr. Chris is great. I had chronic pain for over a year due to a pinched nerve in my shoulder. in addition to the pain i experienced loss of motion in my neck, and pins and needles up my arm when the pinched area in my shoulder was touched. After my very first session with Dr. Chis i felt something it improve and after about two months I was totally better. its been a year since ive started seeing him and ive only had to go back a few times for a tune up since that initial two months.

Had a deep tissue massage by Kathleen, probably one of the best massages Ive ever had.

I had a great experience here. The 60 minute sports massage done by Jamilah felt amazing, and I bought two of the elixir products from the ground floor. The tummy elixir really is helping my acid reflux and other stomach problems.I would rate this 5 stars, but I took off a star because it is way more difficult than it should be to get ahold of the staff. I had to call three separate times in order to schedule my appointment. And Ive been waiting days for a phone call about insurance. I tried to call back a couple times since then and is always left to voicemail.Suggestion to fix this: update the website and offer online booking. Or utilizing the MindBody app, like a lot of other salons and spas use for their bookings.

Swan did my facial and I almost cried because my face felt so clean and relaxed when she finished. She cleared debris that I didnt know I had. I rescheduled before I left and am going to make an appointment for my mother.

Chiropractic work here is great with a knowledgeable doctor who creates a very trustworthy and transparent environment. Makes you feel right at home!

Total rip off. I purchased a groupon for $79.00 for a $170 earth package which claims to be a one hour melt away including a foot massage. I had the massage therapist Valerie who asked me what was my trouble area, to which I emphasized that it was my shoulder area. She said she would do some extra work there. She didnt. It was a regular massage, she never asked me my preference in pressure, until I told her it was too strong on my calves. She then went on to do some type of barely there pressure on my other calf. Everywhere else Ive ever been to, the massage therapist asks this before starting. The foot massage was nothing different from what you get on a regular total body massage. Nor was it any longer. The therapists nails were a little bit too long, as I kept getting poked whenever she applied any type of pressure.When I turned over she did my arms a little bit, and then went on to do a scalp massage for what it felt was over 15 minutes. The constant repetition of her nails on my scalp for that long was anything but pleasurable. Plus, try to imagine what my hair looked like once she was finished. It was standing up at all my roots and I could barely get it down to seem presentable once leaving the place. My shoulders did not get any special or longer attention that I would have on a regular massage. Once finished, she said she would wait outside and bring me to finish up:. At this i thought maybe there is a foot massage in some other room. NOT. She was not outside the room she was upstairs by the register. The receptionist told me that except for gratuity I was all done. Im sorry, but for what that package describes, what I received as services, and the cost, it is a total rip off. I have received much better massages for the groupon deal price as a full price else where. I would definately not recoment this nor go back there again.
