Three stars because they were on time and the front desk person and stylist were very nice, but my hairstyle fell out in the 7 minute walk to my hotel. I didn’t touch it. I don’t think they are set up to style straight fine hair. This was a dry style.

This place is a scam. Booked an appointment and had to cancel it. Tried to call the number given online, but the direct number to the shop doesnt work. I then sent the location a message and an email to dry bar asking to cancel the day before my scheduled appointment and was still charged a cancellation fee. Since I couldnt contact the shop about refunding my fee I contacted their customer service number. The rep told me they could do nothing except send my ticket to their supervisor, who would get back to me within 72 hours. A week passed with no call back, so I called again. Again I talked to a customer service rep who now escalated my ticket so their supervisor would see and follow up. Still no follow up from customer service after a second phone call. I just got off the phone for the third time with a customer service rep who could not put me in contact with anyone who could resolve this problem. Take your money elsewhere - between the booking process and customer service this place is awful!

Tia was amazing! She gave me the best scalp massage I’ve ever had at any of the Drybar locations and made sure I was comfortable. She did my curls very quickly and just how I like them.

Save yourselves a headache and go to a real salon where there are experienced stylists. My appointment here was a complete waste of time and money. I wanted to treat myself for a wedding that I was in town for and I asked for a style that was in their own look book - a couple of braids and some curls. The curls fell out immediately, as did the braids (which cost $10/braid - absurd), and the stylist could not style my bangs to save her life (I had asked her to fix them twice). The finished product was so bad that I had to race back and redo my entire hairstyle, which ended up making me late to the wedding and I missed a majority of the ceremony.Lastly, the receptionist was incredibly unprofessional and asked me, with my stylist present, if I wanted to leave a tip, which basically backed me into a corner of leaving a generous tip so that the stylist wouldnt deliberately ruin my hair (which didnt matter in the end anyway). If I could give this place a zero, I would.

I booked two appointments - one for me and one for my sister - for my birthday and was disappointed in the professionalism of the Center City location. I asked to sit next to my sister (who was visiting from Indianapolis) since we arrived together and there were two open seats. My stylist was very accommodating and worked to come to a solution. On the other hand, my sisters stylist, both front desk ladies, and another stylist were incredibly unfriendly and treated us like we inconvenienced them. My sister was not offered anything to drink, and I had to ask my stylist to take care of both of us. In addition, the stylist whos station we took so that we could sit together rolled her eyes at my sister and I multiple times and complained to the front desk ladies in front of us about how we took her station. She also stormed over during our blowouts and grabbed hair tools and stormed away to where she was taking care of another guest. Aside from my stylist who was lovely (and I wish I remember her name), the entire experience was uncomfortable. I am shocked that professional stylists and managers would treat their customers the way we were treated. I definitely wont be returning to Drybar and wouldnt recommend this location to anyone because they wont treat you with any ounce of kindness.

Made two appointments for blowouts, arrived early and were told they showed no record of our appointment. Even though I received an email after making reservations and provided my credit card info. Was told no one there could help figure out the problem or provide any blowout services. They were rude to say the least, which is a shame because we were in from out of town and excited to try DryBar.

I made an appointment last minute before going to a birthday party. I had never gotten a blowout before. My stylist was friendly, but to a point of exhaustion. I never thought someone could be too friendly, but this guy would not shut up. Complimentary drink was honestly the best part. My curls fell out not even an hour later. My stylist did not use any product in my hair to hold the curls. On the website, it states that blowouts are supposed to last a few days. I spent $50+ for a hairstyle that barely made it to the party. Definitely trying somewhere else next time.

I am a Dry Bar junkie (yes thats a thing!) and go regularly to Dry Bar. The hair part of the service is great, like my other Dry Bars that I frequent. My only reason for rating it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the music is always too loud. And I LOVE loud music but not when I have to ask the receptionist to repeat herself even though Im standing right in front of her.Other than that, I love it.

I had the WORST experience here.I arrived early for my appointment and waited 30 minutes until I went to ask the girl at the front desk when my appointment would begin. She acted like it was the first time she was seeing and talking to me and said, Oh I gave your stylist your ticket a while ago. She hasnt come to get you?The stylist doing my hair walked from the back chomping on food acting like she was bothered because she had to do my hair..The majority of my appointment, she spoke badly about one of her coworkers there, which was SUPER awkward. The work area was dirty, the brush she used on my hair was super dirty (ewww) and my hair came out ok.I should have listened to the other reviews on Google and went somewhere else. For the amount I paid for a blowout, Im paying for an experience on-top of the service, and I got neither. It was a huge waste of my time and money. If you want a more professional experience with great services, I highly recommend going else where or doing your hair yourself.

Dont go here for bridesmaids appointments. They are unprofessional and do not meet timeline needs. All girls hairstyles were done very poorly. They did not honor our appointment times and had other customers go ahead of my girls. Worst experience for a bride is to have something this important go wrong. Youve been warned.

My daughter thought booking her bridesmaids here and myself would be the best experience ever, WRONG this place was awful! We were a party of 7 and only 1 left with a descent hairstyle!!! The job done was horrible!! Pressed for time noone had time to complain or do a do over!! We had appointments yet others were taken and staff was just walking in at 9am our appointment time or 10 mins after!!! I thought time is all they care about!! No drinks were even offered either! Will never recommend or go back first and definitely last time!! Staff was non caring too!

This place is a joke. Paid over $45 for something I could of done myself at home. They did not offer refreshments and did mediocre work. I wouldnt recommend anyone go there unless they want some simple styles done for a ridiculously high price. They also charge $10 a braid!

Spend your money someplace else girls!!!This place has nasty employees and their service is defintly not worth the money. They never gave me the hairstyle that I wanted, said to me they were not possible (3 styles). Also the manager did not give a damn about any complaints, which is not a great way to run your business.

I am an avid Dry Bar customer and was so excited when they opened a location right by my office. Ive gone several times over the last few months and cant believe how disappointed I am with this location. My hair falls flat and limp every time - not worth the $50 at this spot when there are other locations that are much more consistent with their service. Wont be returning.

The location is clean and the staff are pleasant (wouldnt say they are friendly, as they did not initiate any conversation and did not greet me while entering). My blowout looked great as I left, but completely fell within the hour. I dont think the products used are very high quality, as I do not have this issue with other blow outs. Because my blow out was for my engagement pictures, I was highly disappointed and did not have time to have it corrected. I will not return or recommend it to friends or colleagues.

Convenient location (enter on 17th St), wonderful stylists! The front desk could be friendlier...Im still waiting for my beverage...but I HIGHLY recommend Gabrielle! She did a great job, my blowout lasted all weekend, even after crazy high humidity and dancing, etc. Plus support our local LGBTQ community :-)

I wish I can give this ZERO Stars. As a New Yorker who used to live in Center City, this disgusts me.MANAGEMENT: You should rethink the way business is being dealt with at your location. Never mind be ASHAMED of yourself for making a woman who is 5 months pregnant cry, then told to leave your establishment because she was EXACTLY 15 minutes late AFTER calling and letting you know. Ladies, don’t bother with a business that doesn’t care about it’s customer’s wellbeing and care. No wonder why so many Drybar LEAD stylists quit and moved to work with DreamDry in NYC. Maybe it’s because they don’t have a phone??💁🏼 Read below for my attempt at calling Philadelphia’s Center City location. It’s quite insulting, especially for the woman you made cry when she made all attempts at being on time and keeping you updated.Well, isn’t it funny that Drybar doesn’t HAVE a phone? Instead a third party answering service. I questioned how a business couldn’t have a phone, especially in case of an emergency and they said “Yes, ma’am we can only SKYPE with them.” In 2018!? In fact, when I called I was transferred to the supervisor (after asking, of course) and was told their answering service is in the Philippines. God bless America, right? Gail Davis, Manager of Market Street Drybar, you run a HORRIBLE business and should be ashamed of yourself. I hope you’re late one day and can see how it feels. Customer Service is essential. Nice work.

My hair literally fell 30 min after the appointment. All I did was walk home. I made it clear to the woman that the purpose of the blowout was a work event the next day. She was really kind, but I didn’t pay $45 + tip to have to completely redo my hair myself.
