As an employee for this facility I can confidently say I have never worked in a place who genuinely care more. Being behind the scenes I have seen and heard people crack joke on patients behalf and in the patient faces pretend as if they were supportive to the patient, however, this does not happen here. At the healing way, we discuss way to support the patient and provide the care we all so desperately need. We have a lot of areas to improve, so yes we are a work in progress. Prayerfully we will grow into a facility that bleeds out enthusiasm, along with genuine peace and care.

I have been to other clinics and I drop out and use in 3 weeks Im now 2 years and counting clean from herion and I have earned all my take homes the program work only if you let it no one but you can keep yourself sober go to the group and do your session its the minimum compared to any clinic when you really want to stop making excuses this is the place you must go. All you need is the medication support love hope and dedication with this mindset you cant fail 10 years using 2 clean because I worked the program and took no shortcuts hope anyone struggling reads this theres hope if you stop but you must start somewhere thanks healing way for helping me get my life back;)Patient #x××

I think the people who have negative things to say about this place either weren’t staying clean or weren’t keeping up with the weekly payment going to groups and 1 on 1 counseling because if you do this program the proper way it is by far the best treatment clinic around and you can go to other programs in the area and find out the hard way if you would like to and I promise you will be back praising the Healing Way and realize you were the problem not the program. I been here 8 months and stayed clean from the minute I walked in and I have been to quite a few clinics from New Jersey to Pennsylvania and this place is by far the best trust me.

What ever happened to the security guard who was supposed to be on staff everyday, I havent seen him in the last few months. Thats rite because he was only hired to work for the first couple months of opening to try and make the neighborhood feel good about there grand opening but it seems like that wasnt part of the long term plans

Everyone that comes to this treatment center has issues with controlling their addictions. Most of us fail to see that there are many options ranging from locking yourself in a room for months, to finding an underground practitioner who will administer ibogaine, and everything in between. Vivitrol is NOT methadone. IF YOU SELECT A FACILITY THAT DISPENSES VIVITROL, you can’t compare the fees to METHADONE. Blame the drug manufacturers for constantly tweaking known formularies just so they can re-patent the “new” drug and gouge the end user: YOU.

There security is the joke the customers hit peoples cars they tried to run they didnt get away and they were more worried more about getting there little method and trying to hide the car that that they just left the scene of three blocks away. When I went in and told the security guard who is supposed to be patrolling the neighborhood he laugh it off like I was telling the joke what a shame this is to the neighborhood. They did nothing they said they were going to do in the beginning to clean up the neighborhood.security guard did nothing to defuse the situation and it got to the point of almost being violent until I walkaway and waited for the cops. That wouldve been the perfect time for their security or so-called security to come out and defuse the situation.

I have pondered this for the past few days...not because I don’t want to leave a review, but because I wanted to give the most accurate portrayal of my feelings and opinion. I came to the healing way a broken, fogged mind, low self esteemed individual...the staff from literally MY FIRST POINT OF CONTACT, has walked me step by step back in to “the land of the living”, and I myself, and my fiancé , and our fur baby children (lol) could never be more grateful than what we are today for THE HEALING WAY...they have provided me with the guidance and tools to wake up out of YEARS of drug induced numbness and uncaring attitudes, and for that I (WE) owe them MY LIFE!! I have back emotion, feeling, purpose...addiction can hit ANYONE...no matter social class, race, education, ANYONE can fall into the vicious cycle and by God if you do do or happen to be there...there IS HELP HERE!!! I am from and upper middle class family, have both of my parents still married...siblings..all with college degrees , even have one myself...but starting with prescription drugs that were prescribed to me I moved in to heroin when it was too exspensive to acquire now cut of scripts that I became addicted to...and that demon took over MY SOUL...I too, ironically, had the same views many people have about MAT...and Methadone was never an option in my mind because I felt it was just a “legal” heroin..I could NOT HAVE BEEN MORE WRONG!!! I have started the MAT program at THE HEALING WAY and I am ALIVE again..it wasn’t an easy road, the owner literally fought to get me in this program because she saw something in me I didn’t see in myself..A FUTURE..listen critics PLEASE...when taken properly along with exstensive counseling and CONTINUOUS DR support and checkups, MAT will turn a heartless, no soul or conscience having individual back into someone that once were...trust me when I say that I was a menace ...a very well educated con woman..who would not blink twice at taking from you to support the heroin demon inside of me...but NOT TODAY...I cannot fathom EVER being that deceitful, uncaring, ruthless ever again!! Please just educate yourselves before unleashing such harshness towards this program and individuals who really do deserve to live again..I know that not everyone is in the same mind set as myself, but it is not for me to judge nor decide who is “worthy” ...that is up to the program and God, no one else...all I can say is that FOR ME and MY FAMILY...we are all so happy and grateful for this facility...thank you from the bottom of my no longer black, but now full of life heart. I now believe that I also deserve to LIVE and THE HEALING WAY is teaching me how to do just that!! Again...THANK YOU
