One year ago, my friend who had the Esperal implanted recommended to me to have this procedure done and stop drinking. I did my homework and found some negative reviews. Somehow they all were grouped. After a bunch of positive I found 4 in row negative feedbacks. I was about to cancel the appointment, but my friend encouraged me not to do it. Luckily I followed his advice. For 9 months I’m sober and happy. Dr. Tsan, if you read this review, I want you to know that you are doing great job and you are saving lives. I had my esperal implanted in 2017 and yesterday I called dr. tsan’s office to schedule an appointment for the new implantation, since mine is expiring in a few months. Dr. victor asked me to right a review, and express my opinion, so that people know about this treatment. Well. I only called. But about opiate addiction treatment for someone else.And the treatment is hypnosis, and acupuncture; which doesnt really fit my Christian beliefs, but on top of that, costly. At around $250 each session!The implant for alcohol sounds excellent though. IF you can afford the $1000! Worth it if it keeps you sober 4 yrs and saves lives!I know there is one for opiates in NJ, but runs $200 a month. But still cheaper then drugs. But, another dependency. But can save lives.

This is my 3rd update for Esperal implant that I got at Philadelphia addiction center. 7 months had passed since I had implant and since I am completely sober. I can’t be more happier. In the first month, some thoughts about alcohol slipped my mind but now, I am not even thinking about it and most important, don’t care when someone around me drink. Will update in 3 months again.

Philadelphia Addiction Center - great place for treatment of Alcoholism. Professional staff, and effective treatment. Dr. Tsan hypnotized my husband and cured him. He was drinking for more than 20 years and bingo… He is always sober now. The treatment was expensive but the result worth any penny.

I never thought that stop smoking is so easy. I did it probably 10 times before and always got back to my cigarettes after 3-5 weeks. We came to Dr. Tsan when we were in the middle of our divorce procedure.I married my husband almost 20 years ago. At the beginning he was drinking moderately, however with years, it became worse until he could not control his drinking behavior any longer. Due to his drinking issues we could not have children for a long period of time. I would not lose my hope, I was thinking, once we have children he will change, for the child’s sake. I had Esperal installed by Victor Tsan, MD and it works great. I am sober for almost 6 months. Never happened to me before. I just found that Esperal came with a new version of implant and Dr. Tsan is one of those practitioners who participate in this clinical trial.
