My friend and I visited South Philadelphia Community Acupuncture for the first time a few weeks ago. We both loved it! It was such an enjoyable experience. As soon as we walked in the door, we were comfortable. We both suffer from social anxiety and the idea of community acupuncture made us both nervous. Duncan greeted as with a welcoming smile and was very friendly! I scheduled an appointment online, but my friend didnt. She came along to check it out and see if it was something shed be interested in. Duncan said they would be able to take care of her as well. Vito came out and introduced himself. We went into a private room to discuss what I was there for (neck pain). He was also extremely friendly! When we were done talking, we went into the community room. There was relaxing music playing. Vito made sure I was comfortable before putting all of the needles in. I didnt even feel them. When he finished, he asked again if I was alright before he left the room. I felt some relief while lying down, and more relief as the day went on. The next day, I had no more neck pain and my friend had no more shoulder pain!Vito and Duncan were both extremely friendly, professional, and welcoming. The ambiance was great. Im looking for a reason to go back!

My first visit to the 9th Street location was smooth and the staff were very nice. I plan to return weekly for treatments.
