Its okay. Sometimes youll get lucky and there will be no line in checkout. Otherwise, prepare for a slow checkout process while you wait in line for 15 minutes. Great beer selection, they also have nacho cheddar cheese in the large size and thats awesome.

I found some delicious Envy apple- just at their perfect ripeness! I really like their produce. Also I got an excellent deal from their add on meat. The man in the meat department really helped me out - so friendly! Check out the bakery as well.

Bashas needs a fast check out. Either an Express lane or a self checkout, for people with a small quantity of items. Their prices arent the best so I only occasionally shop there but I would stop more often if I could get out faster. I like their bakery items - bread and pastry and sometimes run in for that because they have a separate register and dont have to wait.

Slow customer services in checkouts! Manager at customer service center just hangs out in the office & always issue with western union :/ it’s right by my house but I would rather drive to Walmart more reliable !!!

Bashas should go back to requesting customers to wear masks. Store is always clean. Bakery staff is exceptional. Wish dairy would keep Fairlife milk (fat free, lactose free) in stock. So often it is out. Love Hickmans eggs, need more jumbos.

Been going to this supermarket since it was built. Almost 2 decades now I think. Staff has always been polite and helpful. Bakery has great, fast breakfast foods. They also make fresh pizza and customizable meals while you shop. Nice.

Went in this morning for donuts and coffee. The woman at the bakery counter is always very nice. I got my half dozen donuts they were fresh this morning and delicious

Dont normally shop here but came for the fresh oven brick pizza recommended by a friend. Its the best by far and only $5.99 on Fridays, you wont be disappointed!

Since I been shopping here for years,it has always been clean even before the pandemic. My go to is the pizza in the deli, it is worth it for the price, I just call to order and pick it up. Staff are friendly and nice.

Store is clean, produce is always rotten. Just got a whole bag of beans and package of corn all slimy, smelling of rotten produce, wilted. Would definatly not recommend going here for produce ever.

Rather than choosing Bashas for Pizza, I’d suggest choosing a brand that understands how to treat the dough correctly. The REC across the street is a bit better

Today I bought a cake that was incorrectly labeled and decorated (advertised and decorated as red velvet and was actually a carrot cake when I cut it). When I called they said that since I didn’t bring it right back in there was nothing they could do. What am I supposed to do cut the cake in the car or leave my family event to return a cake that was labeled in error? Not good customer service.

Okay, I had been going to this Store for one year and I was impressed with the Staff at first I was hesitant because of the way I was treated by an associate that was profiling me and I told her that there was nothing in the store that I couldnt purchase and I left and went to Frys where I had been going since 1983.I ran out of water and I went back because the store was across the street. I guess management overheard. Anyway she was no longer there and a manager said he was sorry.Since then I did start shopping at the store and I got to know the people who work there and they got to know me

So, so... inventory of product minimal. Gal working pizza area very slow. Just not impressed. I will try again and give some more feedback.

Friendly cashiers, bakery awesome service.

I specifically come to this Bashas for the bakery. Whomever the baker is they are a superb Baker. I bring home a cake or a pie at least once a month and it never lasts more than a day. This last one I bought a carrot cake for an anniversary and it was the hit of the party. Keep up the great work love this Bakery

Staff are friendly and helpful. This is our go to store for quick shopping. I am not a fan of their private label products but their produce is great and they often have meat items not available in other major grocers.This is an older store but kept clean and displays are nice.

Nothing special here other than convenience. This is a mid line store in the Bashes family of stores. AJs is top of the line, Bashes, mid line and Food City rounds out the group.

Bashas is always friendly and helpful. This location is especially focused on helping their customers. Unless you shop the ads, youre going to pay a lot more, though.

Double check all items purchased here for expiration date. I have bought already or close to expired food several times from here.

Good store overall. Clean and friendly service. Never usually crowded. Prices are generally higher than other store chains. Donuts in the bakeshop are fresh made on-site daily and excellent.

Always great bakery goods from scratch 👍 every one is so friendly at this location. You can always get through the check out fast. They never run out of ad items. There’s a lot of adjectives I could use but I’ll leave at this “Keep up the great work ‘

I love this Hometown Store. Great selection of grocery items and knowledgeable staff. The department is always plentiful along with their liquor department.It is important to know that this store is Arizonas largest family-owned grocery store. At one time it was the largest employer in Arizona. The Basha family has been a huge supporter of small communities and typically the first grocery store in a newly developed area.

Lili the manager is wonderful. The Ladies in the Deli and bakery are so nice, and Ryan is very helpful... The staff is just amazing!!!😎🐰1️⃣3️⃣

Wow. Worst store I’ve ever been to. Their quality of food is terrible. I’m not just talking about fresh foods like produce or bakery. I’m talking dry foods too. I bought a bag of chips and opened them to eat and they were stale. Turned out there was a tiny slice on top of the bag that I missed. Went to buy cheese. Almost grabbed one that was COVERED in mold. Put it back down and grabbed a different one. Got home and noticed it was expired a month ago!! I don’t always check dates but at this place, you need to!! The place has limited selection compared to most stores. I didn’t complete my shopping by far because they didn’t have half of what I needed. It’s not the most cleanliness store either. It looks kinda ran down and dirty. The workers look like they were hired off the streets. Sorry but they just don’t look presentable at all. One girl looked like a druggie and they are dressed ruggedly. No pride in that store at all. From the food to the workers, it’s basically all horrible. Will never shop there again. What’s funny is I don’t remember it being like this in the past. I just know it’s worse than the most ghetto Walmart out there. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

I dont mind the store however the past few times I have shopped at the location on Beardsley the prices that are displayed in the store are not being rang up at the register. Today I was told oh that was last weeks sale but the sign was still displayed. Wasnt happy so I just had him take the items off my bill. This has been happening too much lately.

How can you not like skinless chicken breasts for $1.37 a pound? Being from New England, I like the fact that I can also buy my B&M Brown Bread. Whether you steam it or toast it, it is just part of a hot-dog and beans meal. The store is clean and the staff is always helpful. Like most others, I watch the sales and just about all the time, I can pick up what I need.

Bashas is a terrific grocery store. The bakery is unbelievable, everything is baked daily and super fresh. The breads and baked goods are absolutely delicious, better then any in the area. The employees are always welcoming and helpful. I only buy my meats there , as I have never been satisfied with any of my purchases.

Avoid at all costs. The worst checkout in Phoenix. If you see Lynn on the name tag, run or just hang yourself on the spot. Numerous worst case scenarios of customer service.Tonights adventure found me behind a lady buying numerous items, paying through the single check out line with an out of state CHECK from an unrecognized bank that caused me, next guy in line with cash, DISASTER.Lynn who has been a disaster of several transactions in the past, played along with the woman from Washington State while her daughter, able to quickly correct the matter, stood by motionless while the single line piled up and the transaction prolonged with the addition of a local address on the check, a lot of girly smiles and pleasantries while I waited, cash in hand. Who the hell tries to pass a out of state check at a grocery store without knowing the consequences? Again, the daughter stands by, pretending to be clueless.There is a gender gap and a severe customer service problem at this store. There are some good people there but avoid Lynn. This business IS NOT RECOMMENDED. OVER PRICED. AVOID

Every time I buy ground beef from here, it tastes rotten. Doesn’t always smell rotten, but it always tastes horrible. I buy it, looks nice and pink, I get home and put it in the fridge for dinner that same night.. when I go to grab it, it’s brown. I’ve only bought meat from here very few times, and each times it’s gross. Never again.

Nice place to shop but you really need to watch for the sale prices. Always feels clean.

Good store, clean and nice. Good people working, but lots of elderly folks who often take twice as long to get through the line. Doesnt help that the cashiers are so friendly that i will sometimes wait several minutes waiting for a conversation to finish before they get to me. Still an overall good experience though.
