Doctor called my daughter a “he” multiple times. Even though it says female in chart and she clearly looks like a girl. Then asked twice if she is healthy…He checked her eyes, throat, heartbeat and breathing. That was it. And that “school physical “ cost me $39.We will NOT BE BACK. good thing she is healthy or I would be certainly asking for a second opinion as he doesn’t seem to actually look at charts very well

I’ve been going here for many years. I have always had good care. I recently got a primary doctor (felt it was time to have one main doctor) but can’t get into her when I am actually sick. So, back I go to the first care. It’s best if you can call first for an appointment or to check wait times. But, even as a drop in the wait is reasonable and care is good.

Worst doctors office I’ve ever been to. The staff are incredibly un-knowledgeable and RUDE. Multiple times on the phone they had just made no sense or not understood basic conversation and were often very rude. I saw montefalka one time and he was a very very nice man but I can’t handle going to this office again. Just scheduled with a different place and the lady on the phone was so pleasant I wanted to cry.

I sure wish I had read the reviews before I made the drive to this facility. Sign says open till 10. Site on Google says open till 10. I was there this evening about 8:17 p.m. and it was locked up tighter than a drum with the lights off.Change your hours on the website and sign next to the building if you are closing early.

Was able to get in quickly to see someone when my doctor was unavailable. Called ahead and they will make appointments. That being said, they take walk ins and likely prioritize order to be seen based on the acuity of the patients. It was not busy when I arrived so I had a very short wait. The office staff said I came at a good time as they had been very busy with longer wait times prior to my arrival. I have been here on other occasions and waited nearly 2 hrs to be seen. Staff were very friendly and helpful. This Proctor First Care is part of the Unity Point hospital system and is able to utilize your medical records from doctors and other facilities in their system. They do give the option of seeing their providers as your regular doctor/nurse practitioner, not just for emergencies. This is a nice option considering they have longer office hours including evenings and weekends. It certainly makes it easier to find time to go around my busy work schedule. Would give more stars if wait times were consistently short, however, due to the nature of this business, that cannot be guaranteed.

Relevant information that should be automatically offered by a healthcare facility was nonexistent. Needed 2 simple tests done and ended up having to go into the clinic about 5 separate times. Communication amongst staff is no where to be seen. What you’re told on the phone will probably be different from what you’re told in person.

Dr. Montafolka was very helpful and compassionate with my 3 year old. She had an infection and he even called for a follow up the next day to make sure she was improving as oral infections are dangerous. This blew my mind. The office staff was pleasant on the phone and in office as well. The MOA was absolutely amazing with my daughter for her vital signs. Its hard to find an office that truly has their patients best interests in mind. I will be switching my family to this office for all our non-emergency needs.

Office is chaotic. They cannot keep doctors. Called today. There was no physician there.Even when there is, They charge emergency prices even for scheduled office visits.Unity points are all supposed to be same organization..but there is absolutely no continuity of care between offices. They won’t refill an Rx if your doctor isn’t in that office now. My odd work hours forced me to return to this office. The good doctors have all left. I am so done with this place. Just called insurance company and got a list of providers.

Do not go here! Worst place ever. I was one of the first people to go in when they open. It took me 3 hours to finally leave and it was a joke. Dr. Montefolka didnt seem to care about my concerns and was in a hurry to get me out because he was running behind as if it was my fault. Didnt care about what i said or the problems I had. He got an attitude when I said I smoked marijuana occasionally like as if thats my concern, my concern was what I was going through and it was unrelated 100%. I will be going to the Knoxville location next time, I was greeted at the door and was immediately taken to a room as soon as I walked in. Only reason I left was because I went to the wrong place on accident when I meant to set up an appointment at this please because Knoxville was a little pricey but now after going to this place, I shouldve went there. They tried making me pay over $120 just to have the doctor say I have chest wall pain (Keep note Ive had this for over a year and never heard of that happening and none of my symptoms actually tell me that what it is) Anyways, online. it stated for a medical exam was $45 to just get looked at. Luckily, I told them what happened and put it back at $45 like they advertised. NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN! Go to the Knoxville location, at least when you pay over $100 you know your in good hands, I shouldve stayed there and just payed their amount instead of being cheap. Fair warning to anyone who goes here, this place is a joke and try to scam you. 0 stars. Literally wow.

Just went in for a minor medical issue and I was very impressed with the efficiency of the staff and how friendly everyone is! The reception staff were very pleasant and caring, the Nurse Practitioner and nursing staff were very compassionate. I was there, checked in, and had a minor procedure, cared for and and on my way in under 90 minutes. I felt cared for by adept and compassionate professionals. Thank you! I will return for any minor issue I may have.

My experience echoes the same sentiments/complaints as the other one star reviewers. I am suspect of anyone who has given this place a positive star review - more less 5 stars.I have been to this Urgent Care 3 times. Office and staff are as efficient, and welcoming as a blocked toilet. I would not recommend this Urgent Care to anyone.

Dr. Shawlaw is by far the worst cocky doctor I have seen. All the others are wonderful. I have seen him 2 times and he has never listened to me. Today I questioned him letting me leave with a throat infection with no antibiotics and he instantly got an attitude and said we are done here and walked out. Last time I simply wanted my ear cleaned out and he would not do it. I would not recommend him to treat anyone. I have never been treated so badly at the doctors in my life. I left in tears!

Appointment was at 12:30. Its now 1:30 and I have yet to even be talked to. I asked and was told it would be taken care of. The only thing Ive gotten is rude looks because I asked when I would be in since it has been an hour since my appointment time. However, someone else just got called directly after.Im annoyed. In pain. And tired. Why even make an appointment?ONE of my nurses was great and then I was just referred to someone else and not told a darn thing about why I was there.

I have been going to Proctor First Care at this location for over 6 years. Two doctors that I see at this specific location are wonderful, caring, supportive, and amazing people that I would never trade in for different doctors. Dr. Musaitif and Dr. Williams epitomize what General Practitioners should be. No matter what I come in for, I am seen within 60-90 minutes (which is normal, people, cmon) and always given the face time I need. I have seen other doctors at this location and not been as happy when leaving...so stick to the ones you know will help you and give you the attention you deserve. I could not recommend these two doctors any more. When you walk in, ask to see one of them and you will not be disappointed. This is not a regular doctors office, though, so expecting for your appointment time to be upheld is not realistic. There are many people that may walk in with a more serious issue and your appointment will just be bumped up. You will be seen much faster if you call ahead of time and ask them how busy they are and ask which doctors are on duty, then just walk in. An appointment does not secure you a place in line, it just lets them know you are coming. Just walk in, itll go much faster, trust me.

The office staff were rude to me on several occasions and are not pleasant people. This location is unprofessional and un organized. They change the way they go about doing things and are not consistent. They do not take the time to do a good job and make mistakes. I am not an angry person but the experience I have had there has made me leave feeling extremely frustrated on several occasions. One positive thing I have to say is that the doctor was pleasant and nice, however the receptionist and nurses have been so unprofessional and rude that it has made me want to not go back.

I visited to get some insulin for my type 1 diabetes because I was about to run out and couldnt get an appointment with a primary care doctor soon enough to get a new prescription. Service was slow but not unreasonable, but the doctor was awful. I wish I could remember her name, but shes the short one who waddles. Good luck to you if you get her.She came into the room two times, just to talk down to me, refuse to listen to me, and not help me. The second time she wanted to do some labs despite me having another appointment in just two weeks where the same labs would be done. I refused on the grounds that I need insulin no matter what the labs would say, she started yelling and told me I could just leave if I wasnt going to do what she said. I left and went to the St. Francis clinic on Rt. 91 where I actually got treated like an adult and got the prescription I need. I used to visit UnityPoint doctors and hospitals, but Ill be switching to St. Francis after today.

Since Dr. Ziad Musatif left this place has gone to hell..... Dr. Musatif was my doctor for over 25 years. They would not assist me in finding a replacement for him and would not help me at all. I had a paper I needed filled out that Dr. Musatif always done and I was sent out the door. Since when is it ok for any prompt care to turn away a patient??? Never again will I have anything to do with them or any Unity Point. The new women in the office that check people in are nothing but nasty and hateful. I heard them making fun of people that came in for help. Shame on all of them this place is awful. Stay away people this place is noooooo good..........

Everytime before I was a walk-in and the wait time was no less than 1.5hrs which i can understand for being an unscheduled visit. This time I was trying to DOT physical done and walked in in the morning. I was there wasnt a physician in the office. Told to go and try another location. Called later that evening to see about coming back and what i was looking for. The girl on the phone said they could fit me in that evening but if i got there at 8 when they open, i would be able to get in for the physical. I also asked about just setting an appointment and she said to just came in. I show at 8 in the morning and the girl behind the desk now says that the doctor isnt certified and to go try the other locations. Service is a 0, and the incompetence makes me think the staff has a hard time putting things together. I have ran one or two people there that are decent, but for the most part the other are just there to collect a paycheck.
