I witnessed OSF caring this morning. There was an elderly patient who passed out at the front desk at Prompt Care. Immediately the front desk employee jumped into action and within 15 seconds, there were a dozen OSF Employees taking care of this patient. I witnessed them give amazing care and attention to the patient and family. Great job OSF.

Given all the negative reviews, I wanted to say I have been here at least 5 times and it has always been one of the best prompt cares. The negative comments here disproportionately demonstrate a lack of knowledge of how healthcare is delivered and consumed. Its an advanced facility with more services. If you have a more minor issue, try the OSF Urgo first. Choosing the right facility for you emergent need is pretty important and that is on the consumer.

I was forced to go to Walgreens to fill my script for my son where I was told it was covered by the nurse and Walgreens went to fill script ended up 70 bucks I didnt have money for that asked them to send the script else where as walgreens was overly ride and over no help I got told they wont do that and cant cause they dont keep there nurses in just one place and that I can come pick up a good rx card to cover part my cost so not only has my child gotten what he needs in almost 24 hours but I have to pay outta my pocket when I was told it was covered by my insurance and they have zero willingness to send it else where where it is covered like our normal spot we fill our stuff and never have issues

Front desk and doctor were great. The nurse who met us abd took our info was rude and condescending. No idea her name she never gave it, my father introduced me as his daughter when she came and got us. After a few minutes in the room having repeat things to her, she says his symptoms are not that bad and then says Im his wife. Im like no we told you 2 times now im his daughter. She then goes out to talk to doctor and we can here her from a closed everything shes saying and bad mouthing me and then pretty much saying he looks fine. I dont care if the person looks fine or not, you never treat the patients this way or family. I swear osf must have a program of how most nurses and doctors must insult the patient. Been in peoria over a year and have had multiple issues with different places with nurses and the ER with doctors. Get some manners. Cook County hospitals and ER are over worked and have by far better treatment of patients then you people do. Get your act together.

We had fast efficient service with a nurse practitioner. Nurses are usually better to see because in my experience they take more time with you and they dont have the god complex that some but not all Drs can have. My daughter had strep. We were in and out. Simple just the way I like it.

If I could give zero stars I would. Went in on the weekend with tooth pain. I was only wanting an antibiotic until I could see my dentist. The nurse and doctor treated me like a drug seeker!! I have never been mistreated by OSF. I was so upset after my visit, I was crying. The staff was completely unprofessional! I would rather die than go back to this office and be treated so badly. I am a person that believes OSF is the only hospital in town, however this office does not live up to OSF standards. I recommend avoiding this office at all cost.

OSF needs to add the hours of the diagnostic services are available to its online media. I looked at your website brief and it indicates that the Glen Park PromptCare was open until 7:00. It says nothing about the diagnostic services closing at 5:30. I went to the facility thinking I could get some blood work done only to be told those folks went home at 5:30. Frustrating! Just get the times out when various services are available...open from 8:00 to 12:00 and 1:00 to 5:30. Your customers would appreciate that information. Thanks!

While the receptionists and nurses were accommodating and professional, the doctor was not. After clearly showing signs of the flu, I was diagnosed with allergies. I even told the doctor, but I have a 102 fever, what?!! I will never seek treatment at an OSF PromptCare again.

Every time I come here, I never seem to have a long waiting time. It also depends on the time you come in, so if you are reading this comment right now, you should check the busy times of the Prompt Care. If it is busy, that is not under the control of the office. If its busy, its because there are a lot of people who need to be seen and you are not going to be the special snowflake who comes in and leaves within the hour. Stop blaming the office for being busy. Thats like blaming a baby for being noisy for crying too much. Get over it.Also, every staff member I have come into contact with have been extremely nice and accommodating. They made sure everything was clean and tidy. They were very easy to get along with. I didnt feel uncomfortable at all. With the medications I take, I usually get the stink eye but I never felt inferior one bit by any of them.Im not an ass kisser. I am a server and can tell if I am receiving good service or not as well as identifying the aspects of my experience that could be negative may possibly be out of the control of staff members, such as the wait time to be seen. Again, you arent a special snowflake. If there are a lot of people there, you will have to wait like everyone else. If you can read this message, you can check what times the office is usually busy.My only constructive criticism: I went there yesterday and I didnt have my phone (it was lost). I was looking for a magazine to make the time go by and all I found was a pregnancy magazine lol. Maybe have some more variety and/or newspapers available? Maybe then the special snowflakes wont complain too much about the wait. Theyll be distracted as I was reading the pregnancy magazine.

I decided to go into the OSF PromptCare at Glen Park recently and figured that Id have to wait at least an hour and a half just to be seen. But I was pleasantly surprised when I was in and out in an hour. I only had to wait about 5 minutes before they called me back to get registered and then after that, I waited for maybe 10 minutes before they called my name and took me back to a room. The nurse was great and the doctor I saw did a thorough examination. I left knowing that an antibiotic was being called in to my pharmacy - and all this in just an hour. I was very satisfied and will go back to this location.

Was surprised at the lack of privacy and consideration given a patient at OSF Prompt Care. Was given a gown to undress and be examined by physician. Nurse practitioner examined patient. Being undressed in the examination robe makes one feel exposed to say the least. THREE times a nurse attending another patient entered the exam room my relative occupied to get supplies out of a cabinet in the exam room. Finally on the third intrusion I said to her this is not very comfortable. She apologized stated we should have been put in a different room as her supplies were in room we were using. The check in process was quick, we were called within minutes. All was lending itself to a positive experience that was dashed by lack of privacy afforded us in the exam room.I appreciate OSF, this employee should be retrained to respect exam room privacy. Gave OSF a bad representation of their good services as a rule.

My husband went here a year or so ago because of a bump he found on his penis. Apparently they wouldn’t let him talk, and told him he has a STD... without even testing for it. They also gave him meds for said STD... which he didn’t have. If I’m remembering correctly it actually ended up being an infection but f some sort. They also kept cutting him off and wouldn’t let him talk. The other prompt care by Grand Prarie is farther from me but worth the trip. They were professional when I went there.

I feel like a bunch of other people that gave 1 star reviews & some wished they could award NO stars.Lots of people that work there are Rude & Very unprofessional.Even the doctor offices on the floor above & the MRI people are Mean Rude Liars. They will say or do anything to Cover Up their Very Inappropriate behaviors. They BOTCHED an MRI on me that was 100 % their fault. Ive had several MRIs including 2 in the narrow tube that were successful. The BOTCHED MRI has traumatized me to where I may never trust OSF again.OSF did send me a lame letter of apology., but Im traumatized for life because the MRI people at Prompt Care on Glen insisted on LYING & making me out to be a Crazy Trouble Maker. Just compare their Star reviews to the Route 91 OSF Prompt Care where I now go since I was stalked by a Security Guard at Glen Prompt Care. I was just their to ask Site Manager to remove LIES from my chart & of course they Refused after I told them a nurse told me that my chart says I WAS THE ONE THAT CANCELLED MY MRI on December 22 2016. They never said a word about how I was traumatized & LIED about, LIED to my face & LIES put in my chart. Even though I got a lame letter of apology from OSF.What happened was they let me test the button to push for HELP & it made a very loud car horn sound. The other several MRIs Ive had in last 20 some years, no one ever had me test the loud button. I found out from a nurse later, that once the MRI people leave the room & Shut the Door, I wont be able to hear the Loud Car Horn sound. Before they left, they put Googles over my eyes to watch movie & headphones over my ears to listen to movie.Right after they left, the movie sound came on so loud like the volume was up as loud as it could go & was very painful to my ears.I started pushing the EMERGENCY HELP button pausing & hollering for HELP...No One came or talks to me on intercom. I push HELP button Second time & pause & holler for HELP again...same thing happens...NOTHING. I push HELP button 3rd time & pause then holler for HELP for 3rd time. I was getting very panicky by then because I didnt know I was NOT able to hear loud car horn sound after they Shut Door...OR that the MRI people would NOT be able to hear me screaming for HELP. I found out later they can ONLY hear me & talk to me thru intercom IF it behooves them to Hold a Button down. No one came after all my button pushing & screaming for HELP so I tried to see if I could reach up & around to grab the headphones to pull them off. About that time MRI people finally came in room. I was so Traumatized, I told them I was gonna have to come back another day.The way I figure it, they would have left me in MRI with very painful loud noise unless I reached up & pulled off headphones for who knows how long. The MRI people LIED that I only pushed HELP button one time. Then the whole building started retaliating on me for months & finally they had Security Guard STALK behind me as I was already leaving on my own. When I got to Lobby, Security Guard told me I was BANNED from the whole building & my doctor was on floor above.I did not yell, I did not cuss, I did not make any threats & I did not wield any weapons.Regardless, I was BANNED & threatened with putting me in handcuffs.

Went in there for a ear infection and back pain and was treated like as if i was a drug attic and was told i couldnt have narcotics even though I never asked for any for Im very careful on any medication offered to me so I ask the Dr about side effects on a pain medication she offered me and she said there wasnt any and after i bought them i found out there was, people with heart disease shouldnt take them and i have heart disease then they kept lecture me on getting a primary Dr, why do I need one i thought this place for people who dont go to Dr that much. Can never trust Catholic hospitals and this place is one of the reasons why I dont.

I went in to the promptcare with severe mouth pain, hardly able to swallow, breathe, or talk and was seen by Randall- an ear nose and throat specialist. Randall checked my ears and my throat, felt my glands and informed me that my lymph nodes were swollen and that there was nothing wrong with me. I pointed out my jaw pain and the several blisters on my tongue and asked what that meant. He replied, Thats completely normal, tongues change color regularly. He told me to rinse with a baking soda mixture and avoid acidic foods and then stated that there was nothing else he could do for me. I went to my dentist the next day, still in severe pain, and they prescribed a myles rinse mouthwash for the excessive blistering inside of my mouth!! Only the check in staff of the promptcare mentioned possible hand foot mouth, no one checked or thought to swab for a diagnosis! I still have no answers!

They can be slow, the nurse or OK but need to act like they like their jobs, the doctors they have are well, iffy. My daughter didnt feel well said she had been dizzy cramping just in pain. Doctor says that she has a bug in which I didnt believe and asked to check her throat because of her symptoms. Took all of five minutes and said give plenty of fluids she will be OK, I did but I knew something else had to be wrong, so took her back two days later. Mind you before I took her there the first time it had been a week . This time she was told she had strep and ear infection. I was pissed because she could have feeling better the first time if they would have done what I asked in the first place. I usually dont take them to the doctors straight away because usual I know what to do or have the correct meds for them, plus useless encounters like these and this not the first.
