I was a little hesitant because my daughters hair is very thick and I love her curls. She on the other hand was struggling with managing it as it would tangle immediately and she was spending a lot of time trying to get ready. After her hair treatment she was beyond excited and loves wearing her hair both straight and curly. Drying it and straightening takes less than an hour compared to the three I was spending previously. We have already scheduled to come back for her next one. Excellent service!!!!

Since 2001 I have been looking for a Stylist in Arizona to do my hair whenever I visit family (I am from Chicago)...I have FINALLY found this hidden gem La Cheveux Salon. Latoya was able to accommodate Me and my sister right away. To be honest, my sister who is very hard to please and trusts NO ONE with her hair wanted a new look and went for a short hair cut and color which turned out beautifully. She is really loving it and truly Feeling Herself... I got a silk press/color/trim/and curl which left my hair shiny and bouncy and is still looking GREAT almost a week later. Toya was very professional, a good conversationalist, and offered us delectable treats to eat as she serviced us...and I must also mention the music playing was the icing on the cake for me. She got us in and out and her prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this salon for all of your hair care needs. Definitely will be returning soon! Thanks Latoya for making us PRETTY!

I have been a customer of Toya for over 10 years. She is professional, courteous and provides excellent styling skills . She is a product of her business and is very detailed. She has cut, grew and styled my hair while providing tips to keep my hair healthy. When I need a appointment she does not hesitate and inform me on the next availability. At times, I was fortunate to get a same day appointment. She is great at multitasking with her clients, so waiting for a long period of time has never been a option. I recommend her for her great expertise and customer service skills. I never leave disappointed only looking fabulous!!!

I am a Caucasian woman with fine, but very frizzy and curly hair. I have tried most of my life to keep from looking like Napoleon Dynamite using relaxers and straighteners. I finally found Latoya at La Cheveux Salon and for the past 3+ years she has done my Brazilian Blowouts every 3 months and it has been life changing. I can let my hair air dry or finger blow dry it. It looks healthy and shiny. Its worth every penny and she does a great job at a fair price. This has cut down my hair styling time from 1 hour to about 20 minutes from wet to dry and styled.

Finding La Cheveux and LaToya have been one of the best things that happened after moving to the Phoenix area from Chicago. LaToya is a fabulous stylist with a vast array of talents and years of experience. My hair is beautiful and healthy because of all of her hard work, attention, skills, and experience. I highly recommend La Cheveux Salon in Peoria! I can book an appointment online, which makes it makes it super easy. I have very dry, unmanageable hair but LaToya works her magic and smoothes it out. I am so thankful for finding this salon; have been coming about 5 years now. I typically get a Brazilian blowout or relaxer; along with color and a cut. I have recruited my mom and sister too- we dont trust anyone else! The salon is clean and classy and LaToya is very professional, has amazing skills, we just love her!!

I love the fact that I have a talented stylist with experience and knowledge on all hair types. I have had several stylist that “claim” they know all hair types and don’t. Toya can do it all. I have had extensions, relaxers, short cuts, hair treatments for growth, colors, and Brazilian blowouts and have been extremely satisfied with all of them. Because of my past hair disasters, I am picky and indecisive. Toya is patient, experienced and knowledgeable AND has sustained a long successful career in hair that many don’t achieve.

Terrible experience with this salon stylist. I received the “brazilian blowout “ treatment that was supposed to help my overall hair condition and texture. I called the stylist before booking an appointment to ask if she uses relaxers in this treatment after noticing a groupon review from a customer in 2016 who shared her terrifying experience with this salon. The stylist reassured me She did not use relaxers. After my Brazilian Blowout was “completed” surprisingly quickly with the lack of the final steps, my daughter and I asked her if she was not going to rinse it per proper protocal from the rest of the steps of this treatment we are familiar with. She responded that she would not rinse it or else the results would not last at all and she instructed me to rinse my hair in two days.We left confident relying on her certified “expertise” . By 6:00 pm in the evening that same day I couldn’t tolerate the extreme burning sensation on my scalp, eyes, ans skin on my shoulders from this treament. I contacted the stylist asking her if I should rinse and she said it was safe. The unbearable pain lead me to rinsing my hair on my own which is what she should have done in the first place before dismissing me. After my hair dried, the horrific appearance and brittle, broken, and burned hair was crumbling in my hands. I immediately contacted the stylist who took an hour to respond in an aggressive and frustrated attitude not accepting the fact that she had damaged my hair even after sending her a picture. After a long back and forth effort to meet for her to repair the damage the next day with an even much more frustrated and rude attitude she involved her stylist friend from another salon who had no business in being involved and was not present when the treatment was done, to put me down and repeated that my hair was already falling (ineptitude in using this lie which if it would have been true why did she not mention anything at all?) showing me blond hairs on the trash that falsely belonged to my brunette head of hair. The level of unprofessionalism and vulgarity is beyond what I have experienced in years of dealing hair stylists. Her only offer to repair the damage she caused was to once again do the “Brazilian Blowout “ horrifying treatment which by that point would probably leave me with a bald head. I was only seeking the service I payed for nothing more and nothing less. I truly wish this does not happen to anyone. People do not deserve to have to deal with these hair damages that are hard and expensive to repair.

Toya killed it on my daughters Brazilian blow out, is fast and beautifully straight. My daughter loved loved her hair. We will definitely be back!

I MADE AN APPOINTMENT 2 WEEKS AGO, arranged everything around it of course. I needed hair cuts for 2 of my kids, and spoke all the details with her about it over the phone. When we arrived she was in the middle of a lengthly hair chemical process on one woman, so we sat and waited 50 minutes! FIFTY minutes. Then another woman came in for her hair cut - walked in that moment and was seated. She left our family out in the waiting room and said she would be with us in a bit. So unprofessional, and wasted our whole morning. I spent a good hour detangling my girls hair and prepping it for the hair cuts. Either she completely forgot about our appointment and booked other people instead of us or decided she did not want to cut my kids hair and left us out there for an HOUR past our appointment time. Obviously we left and will not be back. I do not recommend this salon to anyone who wants to be treated with basic respect, courtesy, and professionalism.*** UPDATE: I just read the Response from the Owner and see that she tried to say I was made aware that she was fully booked. That is ABSOLUTELY false. I was NEVER told anything of the sort. I called ahead, made a proper appointment, and this is my account of what happened to me. I value honesty and professionalism and that is clearly another reason why I wont be back.
