I thought it was so weird seeing so many bad reviews. Quality = Money = Time. Stylists, and especially owner, know what theyre doing- if you make sure to communicate your goal (as with any service). Ive been here for a cut and small dye, been referred by others whove gotten grander things done. Worth the time and money if you want it to be. Staff are generous and knowledgeable, and honest. They will tell you whats possible and whats best as professionals. Very willing to work with you to get the results you want.

Had color, balayage, and cut by Meghan Eaton! Great experience! First of all - she listened! Second - she was careful with the blonding experience. I have had my hair chopped and fried by other stylists, causing massive breakage. This was a great experience. In addition, the salon makes you feel so welcome. The owner, Arlica, is engaging and vibrant. Great experience and have already scheduled my next visit!

I wanted to get my hair done after 6 years of doing it myself from box color and going to great clips so I found what I wanted to do and looked up a place close to me. Beauty Bar is right down the road and has good reviews so I made an appointment. I showed Meghan what I wanted and she did it. EXACTLY what I wanted! I love it so much! I wasn’t sure about the length because I’ve wanted it short for a long time but have been scared because it’s always been long. We went for it and OH MY GOSH I LOVE IT!I’m so excited to have been able to do this and even more so that it’s above my expectations!! Thank you Meghan and Beauty Bar for helping me feel good again!! I will always recommend my family and friends to Beauty Bar! I will be back soon for their Brazilian Butt Lift and possibly body sculpting. Unprofessional service. I arrived on time to my consultation appointment, waited an additional 15 min because only 1 employee was working (Chris). He was super nice and friendly, reviewed what I wanted to do and the cost. I shared I could not afford it, and would try to save up. He said to make a reservation and it can be changed or moved with proper notice. Scheduled it, asked for $50 deposit. Before I handed him my card I asked if it was refundable since I didnt know if I could save the money to do it, he said yes its refundable as long as I give proper notice. Today, 9/14 I cancelled my appointment pending for 9/25. More than enough time to cancel. Now theyre telling me that I can get a credit but will not get a refund. Their policy is not stated anywhere on their website nor was it shared in person. I understand employees might know the policy but I guarantee Chris told me the deposit would be refundable. I honestly dont remember the womans name that I spoke to but she was snarky and rude. She declined a refund said everyone knows the policy and because she wasnt there theres no way to prove what was said. I told her I dont agree, its not right and will report this to the BBB which she in a very condescending tone said to go ahead and do that, if I want to threaten to do that its up to me... I said it wasnt a threat shes a business not behaving in a professional manner so I will report the business. I would never recommend this business to anyone I 100% should have read more reviews and thats my mistake. Their mistake is being a dishonorable business

Beauty Bar is a cute salon, girl at the front desk was pretty nice, and the salon owner was busy making sure everyone was getting taken care of. I made an appointment a week and a half in advance to see Arlica which got canceled and moved to a later time; unfortunately I wasnt told the new appointment would be with someone else. I felt as if I was a mannequin head, like the stylist wasnt sure what he was doing. He washed my hair, cut, dried it, continued cutting, continued blow drying it even though it was dry and kept going back and forth. He kept parting my bangs in different areas besides where my actual parting line was. My reference picture had light layers and curtain bangs and I dont know what I ended up with. Everyone else seemed to know what they were doing, some girls got their hair colored and it looked really nice, but I wasnt feeling it and couldnt wait to go home. Ill be going to my usual salon in uptown to get it fixed. The general haircut is tolerable, but obviously uneven to say the least. Length of hair was originally down to the lower back. The salon might be okay, but this stylist wasnt for me.

I loved coming here! I came in with a hair bleaching emergency and Arlica literally corrected it perfectly! I got a bright Barbie Corvette pink and I loved how I looked so much!!!! I am going to go again soon to get a touch up and I recommend this place to everyone I know. This place is amazing and Ill definitely be going here to get the hair of my dreams for a long time

After my first visit, I’ve brought in my boyfriend, my sibling, and my mother, and they all love it !! It’s the only place I would ever go to and put full trust in my hair. Arlica has cut, colored, and styled my hair every time, and every single time I’m here, I come out with a smile on my face. The place is very welcoming. They always give the best advice and consultation on what would look and work best for you !! I contacted Beauty Bar to help correct an unfortunate hair event. I was fortunate enough to speak to the owner, Arlica, who was so amazingly empathetic to my situation. I wanted to write this review because I was absolutely blown away by the incredible customer service I received from the initial call, to the completion of the actual service. I was out of sorts when I called in and Arlica took so much time on the phone discussing my situation, I was pretty sure I found a new hair home. Meghan took care of my service and again, I was overcome by the kindness I was shown. Not to mention the incredible skill set of this staff. I called to ask some question for my wife. O my god the women that answer the phone was so mad at someone or something I said hi. She said what you need 3times I said how you doing today and she keep on saying what you need. That tells me this bad attitude bad business god bless her we are going somewhere else

Hair not fully rinsed out , I left with product still on the back of my neck even after saying something . Unprofessional, all around , not even close to what I asked for and when I spoke up I was told I would need to come back for another session, another $175 to fix THEIR mistake . Unbelievable

I was in for a consultation about my hair, and wound up getting my eyebrows shaped and some hair removed. I am going back for a styling and coloring on Monday.For the record, I am trans and have not always been treated very well by various merchants. At BBHSN, the exact opposite happened. From the instant I booked the appointment to when I checked out, everyone was helpful, friendly and professional. This was genuine, as opposed to retail professionalism and it was absolutely clear that the entire staff valued me as a person. I cant begin to express how satisfied I am. BBHSN has made a customer for life.I would like to give more than 5 stars. The not only deserve at least 6, but they earned them.

I don’t really go to salons, I’m a do it myself kind of person. Well I let my cousin mess with my hair and it was horribly damaged and the color was horrible... I went to Beauty Bar to fix my hair, the staff was amazing. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and they got it right on. They explained everything they were doing and although I was super quiet the whole time they made feel comfortable. I will definitely be going back. Thank you Beauty Bar for my amazing hair!! I love it. I believe Jacklyn was my stylist she was in training and Destiny and Arlica were right with her every step of the way. They all did an amazing job.

My fiance and I recently visited this establishment and had some services. My finace was getting a full highlight, what she really wanted was an all over color and the stylist failed to inform her of this. Thats what the consultation is all about before the service. So the stylist says come in tomorrow and Ill blast it since you want an all over color itll only be an additional 35$ on top of the 240$ you just spent with us. So she goes in the next day for this blast and it still isnt the blonde she wants. So finally she calls the owner of the salon and expresses her concern and the owner doesnt seem like she is going to do anything to make it right at this point, which is absolutely horrible customer service in my opinion. So I then reach out to the owner Arlica and ask her if there is something that can be done and this can be fixed. She basically says flat out no and its not my problem any more. Being in customer service I know this is a horrible way to treat anybody who has just had a service at your establishment. So basically they stole 300$ from my fiance who is devestated by this whole experience and still doesnt have the color hair she wants. Arlica is a horrible business owner and needs to be made aware of that. She is a bully in my opinion. Please do not give this salon your hard earned money. Please go else where and be happy with your services. They will only steal from you, not only your money but your self worth and self esteem. This salon needs to be shut down. Plus they did not require us to where masks or social distance in this crisis our country and state is in. Thank you for taking the time to read how horrible and wrong this establishment are. They need to be shut down.

Arlica was awesome! She did a fantastic job on my teenage daughters hair. My daughter cut her own hair and needed it to be fixed. Arlica stayed 40 mins past her closing time to wait for us and fixed my daughters haircut and it looks great. My daughter loves it and Im coming back to get my hair done as well. I saw a color she did on another client and the color was amazing! I definitely recommend going to see her, shes the best!

My experience at the beauty bar has been amazing from the beginning!!! Arlica did my hair for me and she was very professional and explained everything she was doing along the way since this was my first time coloring my hair such a bold color. Firstly, my 6:00pm appointment didnt start until 7pm because the owner, Arlica, was still with another client when I got there.I told Arlica that I wanted to fix the unevenness from bleaching my own hair at home and also wanted a specific color. During the toning process Arlica referred to my hair as Halloween Hair. This prompted me to open up my front view camera on my phone because i was concerned with the comment. I asked is my hair going to look this bright once its washed off? This agitated Arlica and she immediately answered with attitude. She assumed i was viewing the progress from the camera with a Snapchat filter and said we see color differently. I was charged for the new bowls of toner to fix her failed first attempt for the desired color I wanted. The job was done late and walked out without the color I wanted and rude customer service at 12:50am.I did not get the color I wanted and was left with a messy bleach job. In the picture shown, you can see the spots of bleach that are right down the middle where I part my hair and the section of over-processed hair. Would not recommend Arlica.

Thoroughly impressed. From the minute I called to schedule an appointment the staff went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. I went in and had a one on one consultation for color and extensions. Arlica is very knowledgeable when it comes to hair and answered any and every question I had. I walked in around 5pm on 12/5/20, I sat down and no one greeted me or told me that they were busy! I just sat there and listened to a hair dresser on the phone saying f-ing this and f-ing that!! This place is rude! All you had to do was inform me that you are busy.

Nice atmosphere, clean place, good people. Got a nice haircut and style. Definitely felt like a step up from a chain place. Rachel cut my hair and definitely knew what she was doing. She was helpful when I wasnt sure what I wanted. When I need my hair cut again I will go here.

The salon deco could do with an update (I would say it is an emergency now) as well as some work on customer service would help. ( just because you ask if i want a coffee doesnt mean you give good CS) I only considered returning there when I received a 50% offer of a single service via text but gave up when they try to upsell me another service instead of sticking to the offer. If you want to give 50%off when you buy a haircut, then say it. Dont say 50% of any single service, thats just sneaky and dishonest. I am going somewhere else.

Went for a consultation, Arlica ended up fitting in my daughter. Arlica is so amazing! She knows what she is doing, her employees are great as well and the environment was friendly and fun. If you literally want to waste your entire day go here. I came in at first to do a color correction but then said go ahead and do whatever you want. We then decided that we were going to do shadow roots and then die the rest of my hair red which was fine because my hair was already red. My appointment was scheduled for two or 230 I think and I did not get into a chair until about 330 so that was already an hour wait or more. Then we lifted the color I had and my stylist would go off and cut into somebody else’s work I believe she is the owner actually. There is not a set system in the salon everybody is everywhere working on each other’s clients this is a first that I have ever seen usually it’s your client your money. What could’ve been maybe three hours turned into six I did not leave the salon until almost 7 PM and like I said I got there around two. The boss of the salon made the environment very uncomfortable the way that she was talking to her staff and even some of her clientele she was very rude all around the table and literally talked to everybody like they were stupid I don’t think I will be returning here due to the fact that I was there all day and never even saw my stylist for half of that at least 2 to 3 people touched my head that day but for what? It was honestly such a waste of my time and I was exhausted By the time I got home due to being at the beauty bar all day so if you want to waste your time and be in a uncomfortable environment this is the place for you.

Diana did a fantastic fantastic job on my hair. I had over processed my hair during covid trying to go blonde so i had tons and tons of damage. That did not scare her tho! She took every precaution to make sure I didn’t have any more hair loss during the wash and afterwards KILLED my root coverup and cut. She recommended lots of products to get my hair looking back to healthy and was just extremely helpful. So so satisfied!! Thank you Diana for making me feel beautiful again ❤️

Beautician Arlica ♡Immediately when I walked in, I was greeted by Diana with a smile and assurance that shed be with me momentarily... While I sat there I naturally took a look around. The salon was clean, spacious and welcoming. After sitting for maybe ten minutes Diana confirmed that I had an appointment with Arlica and if so she’d be here shortly. Upon Arlicas arrival she too welcomed me to Beauty Bar HSN with a smile in her eyes and mask on her face. She directed me into her chair where she conducted a hair/scalp check and we went over my inspo pics, realistic outcome and expectation. She allowed me to fully be engaged with consultation and asked my opinion on my perception of color. (I the client had fun with that) I’ve never experienced such detail step by step process of what she recommended combined with what I wanted. We both chose together! My whole participation was AWESOME! While color sat another gail checked on me and offered water, Thank you for your attentiveness Tessa! Arlicas professionalism, confidence and informative approach with whoever sits in her chair will be the reason I’ll return over and over, well because of her shampoo and head massage too! Today my confidence was restored! Not only did I get a haircut, a full color and wash/condition/full head massage but I had an amazing experience. This is my first time ever getting my hair professionally done by a stylist. Arlica and Alfredo are a great team! Very clean, professional products and Alfredo even took the time to teach me how to curl my hair for the perfect look! I will be coming back and will always recommend them! Great prices! Worst experience Ive had. The lady cut my hair shorter on one side then the other and I called and left a message but no one returned my call. I called again and reached the owner who told me to come in today after 4pm and she would personally fix my hair. I drove all the way there and they were closed. I called again and left a message and no one has returned my message. Very unprofessional. I will not be going back here again and now I have to pay someone else to fix their mistake. This place is not cheap by the way. My time is worth just as much as their time is.

Taylor is a Godsend for hair. After my old hair stylist moved to California, I havent had anyone touch my hair in almost a year and it was really damaged. Taylor did an amazing job on not just mine, but also my boyfriends extremely long hair. Thank you so much because we love it! Prices were beyond reasonable and the salon is very very clean. The salons owner, Arlica was on point with what I wanted my hair to look like after she finished lightening my hair using the balayage technique. I have been working to get my hair to a beautiful light blonde color with a different stylist who was not listening to my requests but Arlica took a good look at the photo I brought her for what I wanted and then made my vision a reality. I am so happy with my hair and the over all quality of service she provides to all of her customers. Arlica is a true hair color artist. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to obtain blonde locks.

I absolutely loved the service, the girl was very nice and treated my hair beautifuly. The only reason I dont give 5 stars will be because they use 3 bowls of color for my hair when in other saloons they have always used only one, this was the first time in my life using so many because my hair is very thin and has always have good pigmentation, so I am not real sure the reason why my hair needed this many. But other than that, I will definitely come back for my lashes and my hair maintenance.

Great Atmosphere and friendly staff. The Beauty Bar staff go above and beyond to provide a great experience for their customers. My wife has been coming to BB since we moved to Glendale and she loves the professionalism and attention to detail. I have also had my hair cut here and can recommend this place for men and women, for haircuts, extensions, color, styling, basically anything hair related.

I visited this salon for the first time tonight. I was desperate for a haircut. The salon was so friendly and had a great vibe. Not only did I get my hair cut, they also had time to do an unscheduled color. I was so pleased with the outcome! The owner took a picture of the back of my hair and I couldn’t believe it was my hair. 😃 I will definitely be going back again. Thank you Destanie for making me like my hair again...💞

Ive never felt more comfortable in a salon. The atmosphere is great and everyone is so friendly. Arlica is amazing and listens to everything. She went above and beyond to undo the psychological damage the last salon I went to did. No cut corners in this salon and its very reassuring knowing that they care!! Love this salon and will be back!!!

Unprofessional/unorganized. Made an appointment for me and my daughter with 2+ weeks in advance, when we show up she ( the owner) says she’s running 45 minutes late and offered me to come the next day, but see someone else. Didn’t have the courtesy to call me and made me drive 45 minutes for nothing. Smh.

Jacqueline was amazing! Got a cut and highlights/lowlights. She was right on with both the style and color! Great movement and easy to style at home - signs of a great cut! Definitely well be back! The stylists were all having a great time while I was there - fun atmosphere! Thank you, Jacqueline!

I cant say enough wonderful things about Ashlan. My hair was a disaster going in...brassy orange gold tones dark root with grey, thin fried frizzy hair...A MESS. I told her what i wanted to achieve and she jumped right in with a plan of action...boy this gal knows her hair...she worked miracles..my hair has never..EVER been so healthy, shiny and sheen. I look in the mirror and cant believe this is my hair...the sides of my hair were shorter due to breakage..she added few tape in extensions and WOW...my hair looks like a million bucks! If you are blonde and in need of repair go see Ashlan...she is an amazing knowledgeable stylist who knows her stuff!!!

So I saw a review by a stylist who “supposedly” had to fix one of Arlica’s clients hair....I think that is suspicious. Let me start with my story. My partner wanted to get me a Valentine’s Day gift by getting my hair done. We just had a baby (our rainbow child) and he knows I never do anything for myself. I had mentioned I wanted Betty Paige bangs with blue black hair. I don’t trust ANYONE with my hair especially not bangs. I knew Arlica was the master stylist who could accomplish my dream hairdo. Just look at her Facebook and Instagram. Arlica was booked out for almost a month!! When I got to the beauty bar I felt like family. Everyone smiling, laughing, singing, sharing stories, it was an inviting environment. I am definitely a Pinterest fanatic and showed her pics of what I envisioned. Arlica explained my face size and frame was different than the women in the picture and advised me what would work. She not only perfected the color. (She made a color all in its own) but the cut was beyond my expectations. I can’t thank her and her staff enough for making me feel beautiful and confident again. She is fair on her pricing and now I won’t go anywhere else. I can’t wait to bring my almost 14 year old daughter in for her hair. My new hair style truly reflects my personality and my style. I absolutely love it.

My daughter has been obsessed about her hair since she was 16 years old. I have never known anybody else to have so much hair and be so thick as hers so it’s very hard for her to find somebody that can do a good job on her hair. Through a tragic family event my daughter was also blessed to meet Arlica and every time she comes back her hair looks absolutely amazing she got it done in October and every time we go somewhere people are always complementing her. My grandkids love going to Beauty Bar especially my granddaughter Savannah. Arlica does the best color have seen.

What a great salon. I was referred by a friend, who had never even been here before, but had heard great things. I first got a hair cut and came back to lighten my hair from black to a light brown balayage. Destanie has done such a wonderful job. I love my hair and how healthy it is now because of her work. The entire staff is super friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this place to everyone!
