Perhaps the best language services agency in Toronto. A non profit organization. Conducts full time training and certification programs all round the year for interpreters and translators. Highly qualified and trained staff. Big pool of freelance interpreters and translators in almost all languages. Affordable but highly professional service.

If you are a job seeker do not fall into their traps. What they are looking at mainly, in their training, is the fee they are charging you. Their advertisement is very misleading as if they are hiring you; that is not true. After getting the certificates, you will work as freelance; and they are not that helpful. They will not give you that many assignments, particularly if you are not a female interpreter.If you are an agency need to use their service, I guess they are not that bad, but they will not pass a good portion of what they charge you to the poor interpreters.

I do not understand how MCIS is in business given how it treats its own clients. The person answering the phone to inquire on a booked interpretation service was extremely rude and unpleasant to deal with, and this was not an isolated incident. I will recommend going to another provider if you dont want to ruin your day every time you have deal with this company.
