Appreciate knowing my donations stay local and help those in need versus making money for millionaires..

Mixed review. Some of the associates are so good. Helpful and courteous. They have one that made donations seem like a dirty word. Very rude and almost made me think twice about doing something good. Other than dealing with her, I highly recommend A/H.

Purchase some clothes at a good price. The first associate was really friendly but the lady at the checkout was a sour and cold as they come. For spreading the love of Jesus she didnt do a very good job of it.

This is the best thrift store in the Pascagoula area. Our church group drove to this thrift store on vacation from Gulf shores. They have a friendly staff, organized merchandise, and nice clothes. Each shopper received a reusable shopping bag. The only thing we didnt likewas that there was no public bathroom.

I think theyre trying to get too much for certain items. They left us at the counter for 15 minutes to look up an 2 items on Ebay!!! to decide what to charge us, then were ridiculously high for used toys and said they were collector editions. You wouldnt think *DONATED* stuffed animals would be such a big deal.

Aruka house has helped so many family. People that had no place to go and no guidance. They were able to talk and get jobs to get back on there feet not to mention getting to know the Lord. They had a leader that cared.

The store is large and well stocked, but the prices can be curiously high and large ticket items languish there for weeks. They are essentially a second hand store disguised as a thrift store. And, I went in on Saturday for their sale day and was told that it was the wrong Saturday, so I crossed my fingers again regarding my intended purchase (after waiting all week to be there on sale day) and was told a week later that their sale was suspended and may or may not ever happen again. Some of the employees are very nice, but two are unusually rude, one almost to the point of bitterness and my girlfriend and I now have a fairly poor impression of the business. I hope their ministry thrives despite these concerns and I genuinely wish them the best.
