I had such an amazing time at Moda Optique. George was extremely knowledgable and also patient with me. Please note that the store is by appointment only which honestly was great because of the store size, I would feel weird if there were many people in the store while shopping for glasses. I would recommend Moda Optique to my friends on the east side! I’ll definitely come back for future pairs.

I came in for adjusting my sunglasses, because it was little loose, but now its a perfect fit! He was very patient with me, and cares about what he does. I will definitely be coming back here.

For the first time, I visited Moda Optique based on the reviews on Yelp and the fact that they carry Jacques Marie Mage frames. Calling to make an appointment was super easy and straightforward (I have terrible phone anxiety), and I was able to nab an appointment for after the holiday.I met George, and I told him the frames I was interested in, and I also brought a few of my current frames to give him an idea of what I like to wear. He immediately found a small selection for me to try on and refined his search based on how I looked and some feedback. He demonstrated a keen eye for shapes that worked with me despite maintaining physical distance and my mask covering half my face. He even got his laptop to show me some color options that werent available in-store. After careful curation, George came to the perfect Jacques Marie Mage frames and also some Barton Perreira frames that I would have never tried without his assistance.Once I chose the frames, he took my pupillary distance the old-school analog way (super cool to witness)—he even recommended an alternative to the now-ubiquitous blue-light blocking coating. He recommended a different lens material that has the same properties as the coating without the garish cast. I emailed my prescription, and he checked me out soon after.A couple of weeks later, I received a cordial email (I love non-phone call options) stating my glasses had finally arrived. I made an appointment for later that afternoon and eagerly went my way to Pasadena. Once I arrived, George began the final fitting process and worked with my facial mask to achieve the perfect fit. He meticulously and flawlessly adjusted my frames (and even the sunglasses I had with me as a courtesy) in a short time, and I was on my merry way with my uber-chic frames.Overall, my experience at Moda was extremely positive and productive. I came in with a specific idea in mind, and George delivered. You should go to Moda if you like a more tailored and polished look and want to eschew more pedestrian offers. Moreover, he provides a high-end experience without high-end snobbery (an elusive balance in LA). Lastly, I should also note that he also followed safety precautions to a T during both of my visits, and I felt safe during my time there. Thank you so much, George. Went over and was told, by appointment only, no sign I saw but maybe I wasnt looking? Anyway, I am not making an appointment to buy glasses, headed to another of the hundred stores and got service right away. Good luck with a nonretail service model in a retail setting, cant see it surviving. I wont be back ever.

I was looking for a rare frame, I called many Opticians in Los Angeles and Moda Optique was the only one that had it. I went, and I had a fantastic experience the entire time. George was not only very kind and welcoming, he was also so professional! You could tell that what I wanted truly mattered to him. He made a few adjustments to the frame to make it absolutely perfect! And he was so patient all the way. I cant think of a more generous optician!I highly recommend!
