I was a client here a few times the last time was 2008. I have been clean and sober ever since this place has given me a life. I loved it so much that I got a job here. This place is truly magical. If you are looking for a place to rebuild your life we have the whole package here. Residential treatment, Day treatment, Outpatient, evening outpatient, free aftercare, and a wonderful alumna group that meets monthly. I am forever grateful for this place.

Having just completed 80 days residential treatment and 30 days sober living at Casa De Las Amigas, I feel it is negligent to read a review that bashes Casa and all of the good it does. Whoever wrote that review, was either not a client, or in a coma the whole time they were there. This wonderful, womans facility truly saved my life, and gave me the intensive care and treatment I needed to have a chance at staying sober. I wasnt there to critique the food, I was there because I didnt know how to go on without help. Along with that came love, guidance, understanding and patience from every single staff member, bar none.I have experience with several other rehab centers, so I can truly say all of this with confidence. On a personal note about staff, Susan Musetti would be an asset to any treatment community. She worked personally with me with all of my issues as she did with anyone who needed a professional and kind ear. She checked in with the clients on a daily basis. I cannot say enough about her and her altruism. All of the staff dealt with issues as they arose to the best of their ability. I walked in broken and walked out with my head held a little higher because of the love shown to me. When my Kaiser insurance ran out before staff felt I was ready to go, My counselor, Kristy Fletcher, went to battle for me to stay, and Casa found a way for me to stay another month in residential, and a full month in sober living that I needed.I am forever grateful to Casa, and would recommend it to any woman who needed the best treatment around. They are not there to fix you, they are there to show you the way you can fix yourself and truly heal.

Casa is a magical place!! If you are serious about recovery this is the place. Staff is amazing and genuinely care for each client, they are more like family than anything. Thank God for Susan Massetie and all the rest of the therapists. If you have heard anything less than amazing about Casa it had to come from someone who couldnt or wouldnt follow rules or work a program.

My experience at Casa De Las Amigas changed my life in more ways than i can count. I believe that any woman who really wants to quit drinking and/or using drugs should go there and listen to what they teach. It is possible to to quit using and change your life for the better, if you really want to.

I felt ignored while here at casa. I did not feel comfortable. I was dealing with my dad dieng while I was here and was not able to get the help or support I needed. I decided to come back to casa becasue it is were I felt home 2 years ago and I felt the staff truly care about my well being. This time through there were a handful that I felt love from, those being Maribelle, Mel, Greg, and Flora and the P.As. I feel as if Susan M runs the show there and I felt as she didnt care for some of the clients me being one and played favorites and if you werent one of her favorites then you were ignored and pushed to the side.

I was one of the lucky ones to land at Casa de las Amigas for first time residential and sober living treatment. My experience was truly an amazing one. ALL of the staff is AMAZING; from the assistants to the counselors and to the management, I really cannot say enough about their caring attitude and dedication to their practice. I felt like family at Casa -- in every sense of the word. The accommodations were clean and comfortable and the food was home style and most times delicious. It is evident that Casa strives to make its residents comfortable, which it succeeds in.As far as recovery goes, it was my personal experience that the staff provided a road map to recovery. It was up to me to be open, learn, absorb and ask for help. All the tools were there... and are with me now, if I choose to use them.I could go on and on.... I cant say enough good things about Casa de las Amigas -- they, along with AA, have helped me learn how to live a better life........ one day at a time.Melanie W.

My Daughter was staying in the rehab ,and after 60 days moved into their sober living as part of the program.I would not recommend this place at all!!!! It is horribly managed. The staff is rude, Unprofessional,Did not seem to know what is going on in there, constant issues with the girls, they never solved ourproblems, ignored the ones they did not like, they were stuck up, unsanitary, We had BED BUGS. they cant clean or sanitze their beds, food was not enough ,and disgusting, you will have to buy your own food. They get paid from Kaiser Permanente, and after they get paid they can get rid of you for NO REASON.Susan is the director of the place, she needs to be fired, because she scares the clients with her imature behavior . Greg was a complete Idiot, management did not know anything, they hung aroundsmoked their cigarretes and did nothing, basically they baby sit you. Please do yourself a favour and dont check into this scary rehab place,Their program is worthless.I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS FRIGHTENING CASA. Kaiser will know that, and will not give them any business. No wonder everyone leaves the place right away.NO NO NO.
