I have seen Dr Brandwein once, and he was excellent. Took a lot of time ...45 minutes or more reviewing my history of arthritis, and listening to me with absolute complete attention. I will be seeing him in a few weeks again....he has a comforting professional respectful manner. The nurse also was kind and professional.

Dr. Brandwein, his nurse, Kim, and the rest of the staff there have been nothing less than stellar in our opinion. We are so grateful to Dr. Brandwein for taking our daughter on as a patient; he is patient and very thorough, taking his time listening and is genuinely concerned for his patients well-being; he never rushes with his patients. Yes, he does step outside to take a call now and then, but he is a doctor, and that happens! He takes a personal interest in trying to figure out what is going on with his patients. We could not be more pleased.

I have seen well over 50 different Rheumatologists throughout my life, since the age of two, as I have had one of the worst and severe cases out there for over 4 decades now, and Dr. Brandwein, I must say, is by far the most kindest and attentive Doctors that I have ever met. Hes very caring, and best of all, he listens to everything you have to say, unlike most Doctors. Thank you Dr. Brandwein, youre the best! Im glad to continue being a patient of yours. See you soon! Waited 8 months for an appointment. His office cancelled about an hour before. I insisted and they saw me. My worst experience ever. I am 56 and Hispanic with Fibromyalgia. He treated me with such disrespect I left in tears. He told me “go back where I came from.” I am born and college educated in Chicago so that was clearly racist. I complained and was told that the bill for $200 would be written off. Manager lied and sent it to collections. Stay away from this disrespectful/racist group. I learned that the label the best does not always refer to the person’s character. From the Dr to the Manager they should be ashamed of taking advantage of someone on disability. Shame on you.

Very pleasant experience, had a gout attack, but never thought much about them, other than they hurt sometimes, then during a visit to try out Dr Bandwein , he showed me my blood sample in his microscope because I was not taking my condition seriously, and wow was that an eye opener, I saw the needle shaped things in my blood, and now I eat better than ever before, and am healthier now thanks to Dr. Brandwein,Thank you Dr Brandwein

I am a 19 year old female with chronic pain. Last year, my family doctor diagnosed me with fibromyalgia, and I wanted a second opinion just in case. I have had very bad experiences with doctors in the past year, but this was definitely the worst. First of all, I had to wait FOUR MONTHS to get an appointment with him, but I thought it would at least be worth it. When the day finally came, the first nurse who I was with was extremely rude and condescending, when I went in by myself, she sent me back to the waiting room to go wait with mommy as she put it. As we were heading back, I saw Brandwein walking around and he seemed nice enough to the rest of his patients (who, incidentally, were all white and much older than me), so I didnt mind going back to wait. It took him about an hour to get to me. When he did, he was just as hauty, if not more so, than his nurse. He spent the entire appointment patronizing me as I described my symptoms to him. He rolled his eyes and chuckled as I told him about my pain and migraines. He also left in the middle of the appointment to take a call, but he was just standing outside in the hall for almost 15 minutes, talking about the Blackhawks game with other members of the staff. At the end of the appointment, he said, Its probably just fibromyalgia, I dont see why you had to come to me. Ill have them run some blood tests, but I doubt Ill have to see you again. Terrible. I would give 0 stars, if possible.
