Dr. Kaplan seems knowledgeable and thorough. Unfortunately, he has a poor bedside manner and a lack of patience. He seems irritated with questions asked and he keeps sternly telling the patient that they are not staying still and keeps pushing their head and face. Yes, it is important to be in the correct position for an exam but he is definitely rough. He needs to reflect on his mannerism as he interacts with patients. Due to his mannerism, I will not continue as his patient.

Wait so long you better bring FOOD!How long? if you have a 9:30 AM you are lucky to get in by 1:00pmThen he rushes in and out after the long wait. You so you better have you questions ready and block the door with your body.Seems to know what hes doing but there are better choices out there.

Dr. Kaplan saved me from going blind. He is an outstanding ophthalmologist . And, the best I have ever had. He takes the time to make sure your eyes are right. Yes, you may have to wait for him but the wait is worthwhile. I have seen Navy ophthalmologists, and ophthalmologists in Illinois, Texas, California and New York were I have lived and not one has come close to the skill Dr. Kaplan has.

Dr Kaplan is fantastic but you could sit forever waiting for service

OMG, the whole visit took 4.5 hours. Dr was rude and kept yelling to look in a certain direction, which I was. He kept yanking my chin back. Wth is wrong with him. Def not going back.

I havent had any complaints with Dr Kaplain the only bad thing is the wait is to long but very good dr will not change

Dr Kaplan has done a great job for us. I would say the only negative is the wait time is a little long.
