No one likes going to the dentist. But they made it as comfortable as they possibly could for me. I had to have teeth pulled and explained every step of the way. Very thorough on the recovery process and even called later that night to see how I was doing and if I had anymore questions. I would recommend anyone coming here.

This location did an absolutely PHENOMENAL job with my Wisdom Teeth Removal surgery! The staff, Dr. Dumanis, and Nurse Anita were so nice and very accommodating. The IV didn’t hurt at all and I felt minimal (if any) pain right after my surgery. I appreciated their patience and thorough explanations throughout the day as well. Overall, this was my very first surgery ever and I felt very comfortable the entire time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Excellent customer service, very professional, and friendly office! Dr. Patel is wonderful. Several major procedures. No pain no swelling. GOD has gifted him with talented hands. With dental I am a big baby and there is no need for concern.

The office squeezed me in same day for an emergency tooth extraction surgery. Dr Patelwas so kind and explained everything in great detail. He even called me later that evening tomake sure I was doing well and didn’t have any questions. Everyone at the office went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and informed. I highly recommend them!

Dr. Dumanis did an excellent job with extraction of my tooth and implanting the base of the implant all in one appointment.Having done another implant previously, l know how especially good and efficient he was. Everyone at the office (Park Ridge) was also courteous and helpful.

I was referred to this group of Oral Surgeons by my dentist for a molar that had been causing me pain. I saw Doctor Patel at the Old Orchard office and was very impressed by the thorough exam and explanation of what was happening with my tooth. It took me a while to return to have my tooth removed, there was no way of saving it, because I was fearful (thinking of wisdom teeth being removed). After I couldn’t take the pain anymore I returned to Dr. Patel at the Park Ridge office, we went over a few things and within a week scheduled to have the extraction!Needless to say, chicken me, was quite nervous! Well....when Doctor Patel removed my tooth and 3 roots I didn’t feel a thing!!! It didn’t sound the best and even had to have some drilling but all I felt was some pressure. Now, I feel quite a bit of relief and almost no pain😊Doctor Patel is amazing, very easy to talk to, explained everything, and genuinely cared. The dental assistant was very nice too as were all of the office staff! I also received a couple of calls from Doctor Patel (not just a staff person but the actual Doctor) to make sure I was feeling okay and to answer any questions I might have. I HIGHLY recommend this practice, especially Doctor Patel 👍

Receptionist indifferent. Doctor’s assistant friendly and competent. Dr. Isaacson competent but curt; did not explain that change in pain meds was essential and why. Said I’d feel better in a few days, but it took well over a week. When severe pain did not get relent in two days spoke with another doctor on call over the holiday weekend. He was unclear, talked very fast even when asked to slow down, and got louder and impatient. When I finally understood what he was trying to say, got clear about what medication was necessary and started on it. This was helpful, though unpleasant. This doctor said the pain might last for several weeks. After a week of serious pain I called Dr. Isaacson and he said he needed to see me if I still had pain in a few days. This inconsistent and incomplete information made my experience much harder than it had to be!

My daughter got all 4 wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Patel yesterday at the Park Ridge location. My daughter and I are very pleased with the outstanding painless experience, his knowledge and expertise. Would definitely recommend Dr. Patel to anyone needing this type of dental procedure/surgery. The staff were also very informative, helpful, respectful and kind. Thank you!!👍👍

Dr. Patel and his staff were incredible! The next day scheduling was much appreciated and the procedure was seamless versus the horror stories from peers. Id recommend any of my family and friends to his practice! I appreciate the wellness calls to follow up.

Dr. Cherny is an outstanding surgeon who recently did my dental implant, and with minimal pain in recovery! He leaves the surgical sight clean and minimally invasive. Dr. Cherny also did my first implant 20 years ago and its still perfect!

Dr Patel was amazing. Really put our daughter at ease, explained everything thoroughly, and made sure we were comfortable with our discharge plan.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would . Dr Cherny and his staff are the best.

Dr Dumanis placed an implant for me two years ago, and I’ve been very pleased. It looks and functions perfectly :-) I had local anesthesia, and he made sure I was very numb before beginning the surgery. His compassion was much appreciated.

Absolutely love this practice. Its a great thing to be able to visit any of their offices at anytime. Very accommodating.

A couple years ago my boyfriend had an awesome experience at HICD , he was there for implant surgery. He scheduled his consultation and following surgery with Dr. Leo Dumanis. Luckily , this office ( Skokie location) works on Saturdays, so it was very convenient for my bf. I couldn’t escort my boyfriend to the initial consultation, but I was there with him for the implant surgery. When we arrived to the office, we were greeted by a front desk lady, she was very professional and courteous. My boyfriend was understandably nervous, he hasn’t done any oral surgeries in a long while. He was called to the procedural room, and after about an hour I saw him in the post-op room next to the front desk. My boyfriend was pleasantly surprised that he had much better experience then he had expected. Dr. Dumanis and his assistant were very attentive, they gave us detailed post-op instructions. My boyfriend had no pain and no complications whatsoever, and after a couple of weeks his stitches were removed.My boyfriend is still happy to this day he went to HICD for his implant surgery.

Outstanding dental work, professionalism and courteous!!

Finding this oral surgery clinic was a real blessing for me. When I first walked in, it looked a little creepy because it is old clinic but this is because they have been there for long time which means that they are very experienced. I had an oral surgery done by Dr. Isaacson back then in November 2018. He had to remove a cyst from my jaw and a deep impacted wisdom tooth. Dr. Isaacson did excellent job! The surgery was very complicated and there was a very high risk of getting permanent nerve damage. Prior to meeting Dr. Isaacson I had met a surgeon from a different clinic who even didn’t want to remove my cyst and the wisdom tooth due to the difficulty of the surgery and the risks coming with it so he offered different treatment. I chose to do a surgery with Dr. Isaacson because when I spoke with him I could tell that he is vey experienced, he knows exactly what he’s doing and he’s done it many times. I forgot the name of the nurse who assisted in the surgery but she was the nicest person I have ever met. I was literally shaking of fear while she was preparing me for the surgery and when she noticed, she held my hand and she told me a funny story from a recent trip in trying to help me relax. The same day after the surgery Dr. Isaacson followed up with over the phone me to check if I’m doing alright. It was Friday and they are closed during the weekend so on Monday in the morning he called me for a second time to make sure I am ok. I couldn’t be happier that I chose this clinic and specifically Dr. Isaacson! It is very pricey when you don’t have insurance but every penny worths the excellent work. I am 36 years old and I was scared to death that I might get permanent damages that I will carry for the rest of my life but Dr. Isaacson did a great job! I am so very happy that I trusted Dr. Isaacson that I can’t express my gratitude. I highly recommend this clinic and all of their surgeons but I recommend specifically Dr. Isaacson because he did my surgery and I know that he is a great surgeon. I have three more deep impacted wisdom teeth to remove and I am looking forward to have all of them removed by Dr. Isaacson.
