The doctors Neil Elliott and Nancy Elliott and Michael Porter are the best. You can come in and be in alot of pain and by the time u leave the office your pain is more manageable if u have back,neck,shoulder pain etc I highly recommend giving them a call

I had a great experience while being treated by Dr. Neil Elliot and his wife Dr. Nancy Elliot. I had a bulging disk (L3) and I could barely walk. If I could give Dr. Elliott and his staff 10 stars I would. I had extreme back pains and called in the morning and Dr. Neil saw me just couple of hrs later. Right after the first visit I felt so much better. In total it only took 3 visit for me to be pain free. Dr. Neil does not sugar-coat anything. He tells you how it is and not what you want to hear. Highly recommend Dr. Neil and his whole staff.

Dr Elliot is an educator! He will help to correct your pain with incredible expertise and educate you so the pain wont return. And if your problem is expected to be fixed in one visit, he doesnt require you to come back for additional visits; no pressure (though he is always there when you need him!).

My fathers in his 70s & occasionally has back pain. Im in my 50s and I guess I inherited that from him. Im active & enjoy life, but about twice a year my back has issues. My dad highly recommended Dr. Nancy Elliott since she helped him over the years. So I visited her for acupuncture. And it really worked! I had some really bad pain in my back for some time so I went to see Dr.Neil Elliot. After only 2 treatments I felt so much better. First because Dr.Elliot knows how to explain to you where the pain come from and what you can do to make yourself better and he has magic in his hands. And he is not that kind of a Dr. to have you come back for 10 treatments if you really need only 3... 02/14/18 I came to Oakton Chiropractic for an exam as I had been having back pain and feeling the need to crack my neck all of the time. My dad used to see Dr. Elliott years ago and always spoke highly of him. I remember how much better my dad felt after seeing, what he called, the bone crusher, and after an unsatisfactory massage the day before, I decided chiropractic service might be just what I need. I use Groupon to look for deals of the such often and checked if this location had any, and to my luck, they did! I took advantage of the deal, came in, and left with great knowledge (in which I am now very self aware of my posture, cause of my many headaches, and some helpful stretches/exercises to practice), as well as a relieved feeling in my problem areas of my neck and back. I will definitely be coming back for any necessary adjustments. Thank you, too, to the very accommodating and friendly staff to me and my 3 year old son I had with me.

Came here with neck and back problems and Dr Elliott has helped me a lot. He and his staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. highly recommended, i only come back only when i feel like i need adjustments unlike some places ive heard that makes you buy packages for multiple visits.

Let me start by saying that I have always been skeptical of doctors in general. I do not go unless I absolutely have to; that being said, I made an appointment with Dr. Neil Elliott a few months back to take a look at some severe back pain that I was experiencing. WOW, I couldnt have been more incorrect. Not only did he cure my back pain, but he provided me with simple, sensible instructions on how to reduce that pain going into the future. Since then, I have been feeling great, and in applying his advice, have definitely noticed an improvement in my posture, back strength, and overall back health. Dr. Elliott was beyond friendly and made my experience very comfortable, as did the front office staff/receptionist. I wouldnt go anywhere else, they certainly earned a customer for life!

Oakton Chiro is great! I started seeing Dr. Porter for a persistent pain in my neck and noticed improvements immediately. The staff is friendly and helpful. My only regret is that I didnt go to Oakton sooner!

I had bilateral hip replacement three years ago and have had chronic lower back issues since. I have been seeing Dr. Neil for over 2 decades, and he has done wonders for my life and functioning. He cares, he knows, and he tells it like it is. Putting my well-being in his hands is life-changing. You would do yourself a disservice by not seeing Neil.

I saw Dr. Neil Elliott after I awoke one morning with severe lower back/sciatica issues. After calling their office, I was able to see him that day. Within one week, I was feeling back to normal. Thats incredible considering the lack of mobility and pain I was experiencing. First thing Dr. Elliott did was educate me on proper back care. How the spine should be cared for and possible reasons for it to cry out. He proceeded to treat me by gently massaging my lower back and giving me some basic stretches to do. Following his advice completely, I noticed improvements on a daily basis. When my back was loose enough, Dr. Elliott used his training in the Graston technique to continue my treatment. This felt wonderful! I immediately noticed a difference.The things that amaze me the most are:- the concern Dr. Elliott showed during my treatment- his approach to healing - involving educating me. What I learned will benefit me in the future.- how quickly I could get an appointment. (When youre in pain - you need this!)- how on time his office is. Experience here was awesome... I had been skeptical of chiropractic treatment specially after my dealings with a certain known Gonstead practitioner in Wheeling.. Dr. P.... My first visit with Dr. Neil Elliot was very informative and we were able to pin-point my problem spots... He helped me with my alignment and told me what I needed to do to improve my condition.. and voila... in 2 weeks... I was up and going with no pain...Great experience... will recommend to anyone in the area and definitely will go there again...

After many years of back pain, and thinking that this was just the way life would be for me,I decided to visit with a Chiropractor to see if would help. Dr. Neal Elliott explained to me that I wasnt as fragile as I thought that I was, and that with proper treatment I could get to a place where my situation would be more manageable. After about 3 or 4 sessions, about 90-95% of my back pain was gone. It was that dramatic. I still go back every couple of months for a tune up. Needless to say, Dr. Elliotts treatment and ongoing consultation has changed my life. I refer friends to Dr. Elliott all the time, without hesitation.

Dr Porter is awesome

I was hoping from the reviews this would be fantastic, however it fell beyond short to just bad. I bought the group which advertised a $182 value groupon, which seemed to good to be true. It stated it was $135 value exam and consultation and $47 value adjustment. Exactly what I need. What i received however was a 20min (at best) neck crack and massage from an electronic massage. The chiropractor Michael Porter spent his time asking me how i would like to be cracked, to which i replied he is the expert since i am not a professional chiropractor i would leave it to his discretion. Which i regret now as I currently have a throbbing lower back. Something i did not enter with.I am not sure how this groupon was supposed to have covered the advertised items or potentially sell me their services. Because other than making me feel uncomfortable and doubt the abilities of the chiropractor i left feeling worse than i came in. Which in my experience is definitely not a good sign.

Oakton Chiro has kept me in check for years and years. I have chronic neck and back problems which can crop up; one being in which I have 2 dislocated discs. Without their help, I know I would have constant paion and malfunction. Some 15+ years ago, I experience an arm injury;;;;their re-hab facility not only repaired the damage, I gained arm & shoulder strength. Lastly, not only do they just make chiro adjstments, they advise on which exercises to perform to keep well, advise on posture, and advise on food. They are a caring bunch of professionals.....THEY ARE THE BEST.

I recently made an appointment with a Dr. Neil Elliott a Chiropractor in the park Ridge Il . area at 2104 Oakton st. and would just like to write a line about my experienceI found Dr Elliott on the Gonstead website after looking for Chiropractors that used the Gonstead Technique , I have had a history of upper and lower back problems all my life and the technique has always given me relief in the past , bur it seems like fewer doctors actualy know how to admininistor the gonsted properly , after just two tratments with Dr. Elliott my pain and stifness has been reduced by 80% , he is extremly knowledgeable in gonstead and motion palpation as well as mondern day Chiropractic technique If you are looking for a quality Chiropractor I really think this is the guy .There hours are extremly flexable, as early as 6:00 am and as late as 9;00 pm , and the office staff really compliment the Doctor , just a great all around experience
