Just want to say they’re a waste of time. Me as a full-time Nanny should have not gone with Monicare agency they are horrible I applied several Nanny jobs and Grace tells me “ sorry you’re too far” after a month I applied with them and on the interview I had with monicare I clearly explain I’m willingly to move anywhere I get Hired as full time nanny. I did what I was supposed to do fill out my forms gave my interview explained everything and now they wont help! Very unprofessional MoniCare did.

I hardly ever write reviews but I felt the need to share my most recent experience here so that it could possibly help other parents that are looking to hire a nanny.I had previously used MoniCare for our first daughter a couple years ago and felt that we found an excellent nanny within a reasonable time. Fast forward to this year when we were looking for a nanny for our infant daughter and our experience was horrible. Not only were the nannies provided not a good fit, some were unprofessional and didnt even show up to their interviews. We provided feedback to the agency and surprisingly they were not open to it, simple things like same-day interview confirmations with the respective candidate. I had expected some type of professionalism and understanding from the agency, especially since you are paying for their services. Seems like they gave up after 2 1/2 months which was completely unprofessional, especially since they didnt communicate that with us, they simply said there were no other nannies that were a good fit and we didnt hear back from then since. After 3 months, my husband signed us up on Sittercity and we had candidates that same day and were able to schedule interviews and have direct contact with the respective candidates once we made the connection. We found a nanny within 2-3 weeks on Sittercity, and shes wonderful- I only wish we wouldve tried it sooner.After all of this, I agree with the other reviewer, dont waste your time or money and give new forms of technologies, platforms like Sittercity a try, youll be pleasantly surprised!

My experience with MoniCare was excellent. Grace Gall is a professional Placement Counselor with warm attitude to the level of skills and years of solid work history for candidate like I am.Their feed back was absolutely fantastic; scheduling interviews, meeting at beautiful office, and becoming a part of their candidates engine was a happy moments.I am inspired by working for nice family, my principal Karen F. raised my salary and title to executive level. My MoniCare experience was amazing. I worked with Katie Petty as a placement counselor and she was a tremendous help: setting up the interviews, giving tips and assisting in negotiating the hire terms. I would definitely recommend MoniCare to my friends and if I will be searching for a nanny job in the future, I will be using this agency again. And by the way, the family that we were able to find for me is great.

About a year ago I decided to apply with Monicare as I was looking for a job. The whole experience was very pleasant, easy and worth it. I got a great job working for a wonderful family and on top of that- great pay. Grace was the one I dealt with and she was very nice, informative and did everything she could to land me the job I wanted. I like the fact that this agency doesnt charge you a fee, especially when youre the one in need of a job.I think its the proper way and I will recommend them to all my friends and family.

MoniCare is a very professional agency with very effective and efficient processes in place. We worked with Grace for the full-time Housekeeper – Household Manager position. She was very responsive and very helpful.5 days after we contacted the agency, we had interviewed three highly qualified candidates! We could hire any one of them from meeting our family’s needs perspective so we had the luxury of deciding based on secondary factors such as the proximity of the candidate’s house to ours, her background / familiarity with our culture, etc…MoniCare had tools readily available to help us through the beginning to the end of the process, such as the questionnaire to properly assess our needs, greatly detailed candidate profiles, interview question examples, a format for the agreement between us and the candidate we decided to go with.Monicare did all the background check and reference work. They made the stressful process of looking for full—time help as easy as it can possibly be.

They interview and choose highly qualified employees and you are matched with the right clients giving them superior service which meets their needs. I worked with Rebecca getting a great job as a household manager-cook. The placement counselors are great at emailing you a wide selection of clients to choose from in finding the job of your choice. I speak highly to people regarding working with MoniCare.

MoniCare placed me with a great family within a week. Their application and screening process is thorough (and a little time consuming) but definitely worth it. The family they placed me with is a perfect fit (me for them and them for me). The staff at MoniCare were professional without being cold or impersonal and Im very glad I worked with them to get settled into this new position.

Monicare does not back the nannies they find. They only care about the bottom line. I had two nannies from them quit without notice for no reason despite having a contract requiring 4 weeks notice. Monicare did nothing to help me through that process when i was left without child care except offer to conduct another $3,000 search!! They did not provide any immediate care when their nannies bailed in a completely unprofessional manner. i dont know where they find their people or how they train them, but their nannies are completely unreliable and unprofessional. Do not use this agency!!!

Monicare is best agency in IL. I worked with other agency, they not trust people who work for, they prefer take care just for customers. I work with Monicare just 4 years and I feel stability about my job( Im single mom with 7 years old daughter). I work less hours and have more money that I had my own cleaning service. I thankfully agency for my great customers I start housekeeper till personal assistant- house-manager and part family. They make my dream true. Monica and team work very hard to find really what are you looking for. Thank you for hard work all team and specially Monica.

Worst agency. They never return calls or emails and continuously avoid doing so, really unprofessional. Ive even hand the phone picked up and hung up when calling in the mornings which seems to be the only times anyone touches the phones at all. Dont waste your time or your money.

This place doesn’t listen to the Nannies they are Absolutely For the Parents The People Who Keeps their Bills paid. After a few days I realized and brought to their attention that I was not doing Nanning but I was more so a Uber /Lyft driver after speaking with the Agency I was told don’t tell the Family until they spoke to the family and then a few days later I was told you need to speak to the family we’re not going to speak to the family for you I should’ve known after I was told to write a review before I even started working. Please don’t fall for that always work a week and see if the placement is good for you as a nanny because they are going to make sure the parents are happy they are the ones who pay them.

I am currently with a family that I found on Monicare and Im so happy I was able to find them through this agency. It was a lot of back and forth to set up interviews, phone calls etc but worth the extra step. The agents at Monicare were very kind and helpful in aiding me in securing a position as a nanny. They were professional and responsive across the board. I am glad that I decided to use their services because through their agency I was offered an extensive list of professional, respectable and reliable job opportunities. The only reason Im rating them as four star instead of five, is that I discovered that when working with an agency, the communication and information you are able to receive from a desired employer is very limited. In my case, I was on the verge of securing a position with a Monicare client, but because an unidentified issue arose between the the Monicare agency and the client at the last minute, the process was dragged out for almost a week. During that time I was left in the dark with very little information about what was going on, leaving me unsure of whether or not the client intended on hiring me. However, in the end, things worked out for the best and I did secure the job. In conclusion, working with a third party, such as Monicare, to secure a job has its pros and cons.

I worked with Monicare this summer to place me in a nanny/house manager position. I interviewed with Grace and was very impressed with Monicares professionalism and interview process. Amazing agency!

Agency that sees nannies as a hot commodity when in pursuit to place them but Monica and Grace go cold fast when there isn’t a placement fee to be made. When placed by Monicare, I was looking for a long-term position. Unfortunately, they placed me with a couple where just after one month of placement, the parents unexpectedly separated and it became a tense environment to work from. I reached out to Monicare to receive support but couldn’t get a hold of them. Still, I stayed with the family to help them with their transition but after less than a year of employment, I was let go by the family, unexpectedly. In the end, the family left me an absurd “recommendation letter” where they remembered to mention all the little things they thought I did wrong and how they lost out on the placement fee they paid Monicare. It was a miserable experience!
