So far, not so great. I understand you are busy with covid. But, the womens bathroom is out of toilet paper. We reported it and where told they have reported it several times to housekeeping. The trash cans are full and nearly overflowing, there are used blankets strewn all over, and there is a large dead fish in the aquarium covered in algae? Now, the staff has been; like most ER staff, impersonal. The wait has been long just to be triaged, over an hour. I have no idea why since I can see them sitting at the desk, gapping to each other. May update later. We are now past the two hour mark.Update - 9 hours, all night, and we have just seen one person taken back. There is movement. It is so horrible.Update 2 - false alarm. Just did triage. All of us still here. This is what world-class American health care looks like.Update 3 - 11.5 hours. Still seen no medical personnel. Going on faith that triage is actually working. Have seen two people walk in and taken to the back. (I assume they were very bad off and will choose not to assess from outward appearance.) A staff member cleaned up and got housekeeping to clean the bathrooms. She remarked how ridiculious the situation was. So, still waiting but the trash isnt overflowing. Third group of staff members. I hope we dont make a complete lab and see the staff we originally had when we arrived. BTW - fish still floating - dead.Update 4 - 14.5 hours. Still not seen. Fish still floating. Moms body is sore from sitting in the waiting room all night.Update 5 - 16 hours. Saw a Dr. About an hour ago. He asked questions and pushed on my mom as she say in the hallway. Needs to examiner he further so now they are waiting on a room in the emergency Ward. Must be special because we saw a few empty ones. What a place.

Been here since 9:40… have barley seen anymore. It is now 5:24 am I’ve been here all night I have work in an hour and I can’t even get a doctors note rn cuz I haven’t been seen… everyone here that runs the front desk are snotty, disrespectful, and just very clearly annoyed with there jobs… disappointing. I’m probably gonna get fired because of these people.

Honestly This hospital may have saved my life I went in for a severe asthma attack and chest pain and after blood work and many test they discovered I had sepsis I was really sick went to mutiple urgent care before this for feeling sick they just kept giving me meds the doctors here actually took their time and helped me figure out why I was as sick as I was and didn’t just assume and give me meds when I went to the Critical care unit they took great care of me and talked to me so I can fully understand what was going on thank you for getting me back on my feet and better I will definitely be back if need to go to an ER again !

I would definitely go here again. After trying to go to urgent care (who told me over the phone we dont deal with that) I went to this ER. The lady (Deborah) that registers you was very helpful with my situation. I cant be more grateful to her than i am. Yes, the wait was a little long especially when you are in pain but it is an ER. I did not expect to be seen right away but once i was, the nurse and doctor were very informative as to my condition and the medicine i was given. I would definitely choose this ER over anywhere else.

I was in the ER on December 29, 2020 due to chronic facial pain caused by my Trigeminal Neuralgia (Which is known as the worst pain known to man) also referred to as the suicide disease because so many with it take their lives due to the intensity of the pain and poor prognosis for relief. This pain is destroying my life and it’s the worst thing I’ve ever experienced. I ended up going to the ER via ambulance due to the fact I was in so much pain I couldn’t talk or drive. After ending up in the ER for this chronic pain I was given no relief for the pain even though there is a medication that I could have been given (a non-narcotic seizure medication) which Dr Neema Patel refused to provide this medication as she didn’t feel comfortable. Even though I was able to show her a message from my Neurologist that specifically said I was to be given this medication due to acute nerve pain. I was offered ice and ibuprofen which is a slap in the face for someone with my condition and after begging for more I was given a Toradol shot and a muscle relaxer shot. That also provided little to no relief. Dr Neema Patel also seemed to know very little about my condition or the effect. While she also showed literally no compassion and did not care how this was effecting my quality of life. Even though I live in Painesville I almost always go to Hillcrest because the service I’ve received at Tripoint in the past has been very poor as well. The only reason I went is because I didn’t have the ability to drive myself to Hillcrest. I will never again go to Tripoint because they are literally one of the worst hospitals I’ve ever been to.

Dr. Brian Ault from the emergency room absolutely humiliated me. He discriminated against me for my race, and made serval accusations about my body. He provided zero treatment plan and never even gave me results of my tests. I am so embarrassed for going here. STAY AWAY FROM THIS FACILITY.

Worst experience ever!!! Waited over 6.5 hours in the un- sanitized waiting room. People working the desk- and we saw 2 shifts- were the most unprofessional and least compassionate people I’ve ever encountered. Only saving grace was once we got back-after insisting that the people at the desk get off their phones and speak with the charge nurse- Tabatha was wonderful!!! She had everything that the desk lacked.I would have rated a 0 stars but the site would not let me

Called in due to a tooth abscess to see if there was anything they could do. The response was I cant give any medical advice but if you want to be seen youll be seen.... I wasnt asking for medical advice, I was asking if tooth pain was something the er department was able to handle.Got the same response when I got in there though the staff at the check in desk looked frightened about saying that making me think he knew the answer was no but was instructed to use a scripted response in order to shake down their patients for every penny they can get even if they know theres nothing they can do.Very frustrated. I wish there was another option in this area but there isnt.

I was seen at the ER for a car accident with a concussion and neck pain. The doctor came to see me after getting a clear CT and spent about 2 minutes with me, speed talking and running through what appeared to be her mandatory check list. After the 2 minutes she sent me out. It appeared this doctor had zero personality and zero amount of care. Later I found no neck pain listed in my report, therefore works comp denies attempts to go to a chiropractor. I have heard nothing but bad about this ER. I have heard the offices are better.

I came into the E.R. with a severe allergic reaction. My tounge and throat were swelling quickly and I was having trouble breathing. The Nurse took me immediately and they started working on me. Every nurse and Dr. tried to put me at ease while they gave me medications and checked me. I wish I had the name of all of them to thank them. I believe they saved my life. I was in there at night on 7/10 /17. I would highly recommend this facility. Thank you all, Kevin Walk

The nurses where very helpful, but we sat in the waiting area for 2 hours with a dog bite. After waiting 2 hours for a room, we then waited 4 more hours waiting for anyone to talk to. One nurse came in and wiped off the wound once. We did not see any doctor or get any type of greeting or information from the doctor and ended up walking out. Then when walking out the women at the front desk where VERY rude.

Where do they get this losers. Do they even have a medical degree. I doubt it.I called to see how busy they wereAnd they asked me if i had insurance. I told her what i had. She then started laughing. She told me they already had there quota of low life like me and the policy for people like me was BILL THEM KILL THEM BAG THEM AND TAG THEM. Im terrified to go there even thou im having a medical emergency. I asked to be transferred to a good hospital and she laughed and said being nasty to me was her therapy. I dont know what to do now. If i go there ill die but if i stay home ill die. No compassion or caring. Just lazy doctors and nurses just collecting a paycheck and doing no work.I reported this awful person but nothing will come it. They have a grade f and have made no effert to fix the problems. I checked there records and this place will never change. How many more people have to die before there forced to change or shut down. This was totally uncalled for. No one has the right to treat me that way. How can lake county residents be proud of our city if we have a hospital system. That. Refuses to treat people. This is a disgrace.

Absolutly terrible!! Do NOT go here if you are pregnant ever! Had me sitting in triage in Labor and Delivery for 3hours before I was seen by a doctor. Pain was not taken care of for 3.5hours. At 35weeks pregnant I would think you would have a little more sence pf urgency. If I wanted to sit in pain I would sit at home and suffer.

Terrible stressful humiliating and very unprofessional. I called the emergency room to tell them i was coming in by ambulance. I have a disability and i was scared because i had to come alone. I was in severe pain and needed help. They gave me a nurse to talk to and she told me not to bother coming in because they would not treat me. She laughed at me when i started crying and told her i needed help im very sick. I also said i thought you couldnt turn away a person and her answer was HONEY WE ARE A PRIVATE HOSPITAL WE CAN DO WHATEVER WE WANT. Then she threatened me with laurelwood if i was anxious and came in. I asked her name and she hung up. All day today i tried to get ahold of tripoints advocacy and a social worker and no one returned my calls. Apparently they only have advocates and social workers monday thru Friday till 5. After that your on your own . i have heard tripoint was a bad hospital but now i can see how they got this reputation. Now i have to suffer all weekend because i couldnt see my doctor. I would like to try another hospital but im told the ambulance can only take you to the nearest hospital. Im screwed.I am working with an advocacy group and we are going to take this to the newspaper and tv stations. No one should ever be denied care or threatened. This is awful. Why are they still in business???
