I was facing a near death experience due to a domestic situation, they discriminated against me due to “my tone of voice”after they denied me and only offered me a restraining order , I felt they were being unreasonable and very insensitive to my situation saying that they don’t except people who are not connected to their county due to Covid,but it was because of MY TONE,I wouldn’t recommend this shelter to anyone ‼️

Tried calling for help due too abuse. Wont help me due too a conflict of interest due too someone LYING and saying they were abused, because the MAN was asked to leave my home due too abuse from him- so he went there, lied and said he was abused cause he had NO place to go. Funny-- he went a couple of times there and did it. Funny and a coincidence how he kept leaving, coming and leaving after a couple days-- yeah cause he used your shelter and services as a MOTEL! But Im sure I am lying, right? So myself and children who TRULY need help and cant get it by this place. This is a sad and twisted and sick situation--- All I asked for was some assistance and help, not shelter. Funny though he wanted shelter a couple of times and never came back EVER and I ask for assistance for myself and children and cant get it- cause someone needed a place to stay and didnt get paid for a week.

This place was horrible. They picked on me. 2 of the girls from the front desk lied n said they smelled alcohol on me real heavy. I was gone for only 20 mins I went to get some food. I came back. The head person said she don’t smell nothing on me. I don’t look drunk. It’s because I wasn’t. At all not even a little bite. I went to my room. My stuff looked messed up. So I went to the front desk complaining thinking a female n that house was stealing my stuff. Still till this day they had me thinking that. They never told me they was waiting till I left out to search all my stuff. Even my purse was open. I had 3 purses there. I can name plenty stuff they did to me. N tried to set me up for no reason. They stole my clothes. N want give them back or pay to give them back. They have till tomorrow either pay me for my clothes n shoes by tomorrow or I’m pressing charges.

This place is awesome I got the help needed. The lady I met with was so helpful and nice. I would recommend this place! Thank you so much!

Fran helped me get a restraining order against my ex husband Chad Grunewald when he attacked me while I was holding my 3 month old daughter. I never felt judged, or looked down on. She helped me with more compassion than most people see in their entire life. I was in the darkest place in my life, that was my rock bottom. Thank you Fran. You helped me break free and gave me some courage to get through all of this. Ive been divorced over a year, and he hasnt seen his daughter in over 2 years. You set me up to succeed and for that I cannot thank you enough. You guys are part of my story and Ill never forget everything you did.

Absolutely horrific place to stay or affiliate yourself with! Infested with ants and spiders, black mold growing everywhere, drug addicts awake until 3am with their children banging dishes and toys against the ground. Women openly highlighting as prostitutes. Stayed here to get out of a terrible situation for a few weeks and was forcibly removed because I didnt respect all different walks of life. Im guessing that means that I brought attention to the copious amounts of drug and alcohol consumption and disgusting living quarters. They would not even let me go inside and grab my belongings and claimed that theyd found drugs and alcohol in my room. For one, I DO take Effexor XR and buspirone for anxiety. I did not feel comfortable putting my medications in their locked drawers behind the counter because I was mistakenly handed SOMEBODY ELSES MEDICATIONS on 3 separate occasions by 3 different incompetent staff members. So being accused of having a drug problem is laughable when a SNRI with my name clearly labeled on it is far from a drug problem. Especially when ACTUAL addicts are passed out all over the center. If you are looking for a quick and easy place to escape that will allow you to stay inebriated (drunk, high, abusive towards other residents, disorderly, and talked down to constantly by staff) this is definitely FOR YOU. But if you are truly working towards getting AWAY from domestic violence, AVOID at all costs. Id give this zero stars if that were an option. A complete dump and a disgrace to all women actually suffering from domestic violence.

My daughter went there and it helped her a lot to get back in to school and she has her own place to live with her daughter.

I was kicked out of shelter due to my toddler putting a toy in the toilet causing it to leak down stairs. They wouldnt let me get our food out the fridge. I will sue for this. It was very cold out i have little children and this has put a birdon on me😞
