Should be ZERO stars. Dr. Shahab Hasans lack of communication and lack of willingness to operate in fair billing practices makes him/her a bad choice for healthcare. Be careful if you have been hospitalized at an Advent Healthcare facility. This doctor billed me IN MAY 2021 for services supposedly rendered in OCTOBER 2020 during a hospital visit. I was billed for 70 minutes of Hospital Care one day and 35 minutes of Hospital Care the next day for a total of $858.00. I was in hospital for an issue completely unrelated to any kidney problems and NEVER saw this doctor. It is possible that he/she was consulted by hospital doctors, however, I can positively say that I was never seen by Dr. Shahab Hasan and certainly he/she never spent 105 minutes administering any sort of healthcare or advice to me. He/she is out of network for my insurance, which was also billed. The office will not answer or return calls about billing questions. When I disputed the bill in writing, advising them that I had not seen this doctor and had obviously been billed in error, I received no reply and believed that an issue had occurred on their end and been corrected. The next communication was from a collection agency. If I wish to maintain my excellent credit rating, there is no choice but to pay the exorbitant bill that I do not actually owe.

Dr. Shahab is a wonderful doctor and really cares about his patients. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Great place.

The best doctor ever. This gentleman held my wife’s hand and explained every anxiety she had. She walked in crying and left smiling and relieved.

Dr. Shahab has been taking care of my mom for many years. If it wasn’t for Dr. Shahab and Dr. Patel my mom wouldn’t be around today. They are very caring, professional and go out of their way to make sure my mom’s health is important. They listen and explain what we need to do to keep her healthy and from going through dialysis. I would definitely recommend Dr. Shahab for patients with kidney problem. I also love the staff, they are friendly and very helpful. Thank you Dr. Shahab and Dr. Patel!

Sorry to say but Dr Shahab is a scam. He allegedly saw my wife when she was at the hospital for an outpatient procedure. We told him we have our own doctors but still elected to bill medicare 500 dollars then comes to us for another 71 dollars. There has to be a place i can report him to.

Worst doctor Ive ever come across. Please please please I urge you if you or your loved ones are thinking about seeking care by this physician or are a current patient go to someone else. His main goal is to get you on Dialysis. His diagnosis and recommendations majorly hurt my grandfather and endangered his life until we went for a second and third opinion confirming our suspensions that this doctor is out to hurt you not heal you. Im begging anyone reading this to get a second opinion somewhere else before trusting this horrible excuse for a doctor. If I could give a negative star review I would, he truly from the bottom of my heart shouldnt be practicing medicine.

Not sure what he did for me while I was admitted to hospital. I never saw him face to face and I was billed me out of network despite making it clear during pre-admission that I only wanted in-network care. I called to discuss my bill and I just get a billing service who cant do anything but take payment (they dont answer you have to leave a call back message). For all I know he just saw my chart while he was at the hospital and decided to send me a bill. I would love to be wrong but between the insurance company, the hospital, and the number listed on the bill nobody can tell me why or what the bill is for.

Dr. Shahab is a fantastic Kidney doctor he has taken care of my familys needs for almost 10 years. I find him to be a very knoledgeible and compassionate doctor who is willing to sit and talk with you about your needs. His staff has always been friendly and helpful giving great service.

Worst Experience EVER!!!! He treat patients like a CASH COW!!! The only MD. that got the nerve to ask me why did I change my Medical Insurance. Keep you going every month, and do not take not even 5 min. then he order to go to the front desk so they can schedule your next appointment in 30 days most of the times!!!! I was in the hospital and he charge my insurance visits to my room everyday. Which was not accurate at all. I would not recommend this MD to anyone. My new MD told me of the many things that he could be doing to improve my health, that he wasnt doing. WORST DOCTOR EVER!!!!!!!

Absolutely love Dr. Shahab. He has done everything possible to keep my Mom off of dialysis. Has also helped her in so many other areas that we found her primary care doctor to be lacking in. He takes the time to listen and fully explain what and why he recommends things.

The customer service at this practice is atrocious. They’ve cancelled my grandfather’s appointment twice and in both occasions, have failed to call us.
