My son had an outpatient procedure and it went great! The entire staff/team from valet, to security, to getting the ID, billing, check-in, registration and the day of activities with the check-in, nurses and physicians was flawless. They were comforting and reassuring. They were prepared and I love that they have access to a shared medical record technology platform to get records from other hospitals. For medically complex patients like my child, it makes a difference. Thank you everyone for giving me the confidence in our medical providers locally! Outstanding job to the entire team!! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ’―πŸ’•

I went through a lot of stress in thinking about the day of the surgery. I even asked my wife if I could stay home. I was tormented by the thought of my daughter being poked with needles and being in pain in front of me. Well, I ended up going and to my surprise the process was so smooth and actually pleasant to watch and live through. I felt assured everything was going to be alright, and it was! Thank you all so much!

Our quality of care from registration, to the transport, the nurses, the doctors, the food service and the cleaning service to discharge was exceptional! We spent 24 hours at Orlando Health, mostly at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, and everything was efficient and do I dare say, enjoyable? If a hospital could feel like a hotel with full room service and a personal concierge, this was it. We felt like we were a priority and we felt heard and respected. Everyone was happy to do anything to make us comfortable. Top notch. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking such amazing care of my son! Thank you especially to nurses Jeremy, Alexia, Dr Plumley and Dr Levy.

We were on vacation and needed Arnold Palmer for an emergency pediatric orthopedic situation. Everyone from the ED to the transport team to the doctors and nurses were simply outstanding - they went above and beyond to take care of both our physical and emotional needs. An overnight stay is never welcome but they made us comfortable, were beyond helpful and helped my daughter feel as calm as could be imagined in the situation. From Jennifer and Molly and Alison in the ED to the fabulous crew in surgery prep and Kelly and the entire staff on the 3rd floor acute care unit, I can’t remember everyone’s name, but we are thankful for them all.

Worst experience ever. This is the first time and I’m so disappointed. I had an appointment with my 2 year old son for sleep studies. The nurse was really unprofessional. I know we are going through a tuff time. First did not explain the procedure. Does not have that charisma to work with children. My child did trust her at all and it was difficult to start the test. Then when it was time to remove the leads she rip them off marking my child face and body. Her words was β€œ I was try to do it nicely but you don’t let me” I was so upset. How you going to treat a 2 year old that way. I work in the field myself and I make sure I treat patients like I would like to be treated.

I’m not sure where to start without my review being a chapter book. Just picture this… your on day 4 of vacation and your daughter has a severe asthma attack with no warning signs. We do everything we could do with the meds we had prepared just in case and it doesn’t help her. It’s 1am and your facing the decision to bring your 3 year old to the ER. Well I picked right, we drove a little further than we wanted that night but reviews like this one told me Arnold Palmer was the right place. They questioned me and assessed her instantly, they had us badged up, vitals ran and into a room within 5 minutes. Within 20 minutes my daughter had been seen by three doctors and had a wonderful nurse who formulated a plan of attack. We ended up being admitted given the severity of my daughters episode. From start to finish they took so many of my anxieties away and I appreciate every single caregiver and provider who helped us! So if your stuck thousands of miles from home like we were facing an emergency don’t hesitate to bring your children to this place they will take great care of you!

I don’t do a lot of surveys but felt compelled to do this one. Dr. Rich and the whole Orlando Health Arnold Palmer staff was wonderful. All the nurses made me feel so comfortable. I was so emotional when they took my son in for surgery and right away, the nurse in the room told me he would wait until I was ready to walk me back to the waiting room. I felt like he cared and didn’t rush me out of the room. I really really appreciated that. After I came home, I was worried about the condition of my sons surgery. They asked me to take a picture, email it to them and they would let me know if it was normal or not. The nurse called me right away, answered all my questions and took all my worries away. You can tell everyone cares. It truly shows! I would highly recommend this hospital.

All the way from the receptionist to the nurses, physicians, and surgeons I have to say they were all very professional and through with answering my questions. I also had some insurance questions and they brought in someone for me to speak with. I must say this is the best place I have had my daughter seen at. From the Security guard, front desk receptionist, to housekeeping to the doctor and entire nurse staff on the Orthopedic floor- just exceptional in every way. my daughter is in great care which puts me a ease as it is never easy to see your daughter go through something this painful. Dr. Herrera is amazing and the nurses- are awesome. Watching how much they have to do- and tbe hours they work- all I could think was they couldn’t pay me enough to do all that they do. It is very commendable-as even in their 11th hour- of an night shift- they remain pleasant and assist in any way they can. So very grateful we came to Arnold Palmer.

Ive watch the wait room clear out 3 times. All the people that came after me in registration came and gone and I was still sitting there. After the 60 minutes mark, my 14 month old started to act out. He started to get fussy ( which is understandable). Why make a kid this young wait so long for a process that takes less than 10 minutes. This was extremely inconvenient for me. I live far, so I tried to get his lab work done that day because he had a doctors appointment earlier that morning. Now I have to request another day off from work, to take him for blood work. What a great experience for my little boy and I. The WHOLE staff here are absolutely exceptional !! Our doctor was Dr.Ira and he might be the best doctor I’ve ever met .. lol.. we had about 4 nurses since we were overnighting a couple nights and ALL 4 were amazing! We happened to be there during Halloween, and the hospital had a Trick or Treat party for the patients! Which was beautiful and I really enjoyed seeing sooooo many people really enjoy their careers. It’s refreshing, they all took pride in what they do.They even gave my other children who weren’t patients some goody bags.. πŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎI mean.. wow.. we treated and found out the underlying issue with my son and had fun! THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!!

My daughter had major surgery and we were in the hospital for 5 days. I cant describe how great everything was. From the surgeon to the nurses random the rest of the staff was absolutely wonderful. They werent only taking care of our daughter but they were taking care of us as a family as well. I would definitely recommend this hospital to anyone. Wont take my children anywhere else.

My daughter was a patient here three times for three brain surgeries in 11 months. I am a nurse. I did not leave her alone there. There were nursing mistakes made; even residents made some mistakes. There were some attitudes too from the nursing staff. Her surgeon was amazing. I am so thankful my daughter recovered. It was a very stressful time. Overall, the staff as a team cared for my daughter well.

Every time my son has an emergency, I bring him here because I know that he will be in great hands. The staff are all very professional and pleasant. They recommended a specialist who is just as knowledgeable and now my sons chronic condition is under control.
