I moved away and am really sad to have a different pharmacy..it maybe sounds weird but seriously, if you are within 10 minutes of this place, I can guarantee it is worth your time. They are smart people who will remember your name, and they actually have good technology that they use to fill your own prescriptions before you even realize/ forget because they have it in their system and have taken the time and initiative to notice when youre low and that youre due for a refill so they will take care of it for you and send you a text to remind you that its ready. I cannot recommend Salmon Pharmacy enough. Ive dealt with horrible insurance garbage, and they have been kind and understanding and knowledgeable and on top of things even before I was. Sorry if this sounds cheesy or fake....its just a very satisfied customer who misses living by such a quality pharmacy. Thank you guys for caring and please keep it up because it doesnt go unnoticed!

I love this pharmacy! We recently switched all our prescriptions over and they have gone above and beyond for us. They always have everything ready when I come to pick it up and will even take the time to quickly fill a new rx while I wait so I don’t have to make a second trip back. They are always helpful when I call. I love that they have a drive through, and my kids love that they have suckers.

I called to see if they had the ability to pull my prescriptions from another pharmacy, they didnt answer but asked the name of one of the medications, I had to pull it up because I didnt think the name of a medicine would change whether or not they can pull prescriptions from other pharmacies, they put me on hold for a while, when someone finally came back on the phone instead of answering my first question they started asking weird questions like concentration and amount I had to tell them that I didnt know because Im not the doctor so I wouldnt know. They then said that the person who would know if they can make the medicine wont be in for 2 hours but they can call me back then. I responded with I asked if you can pull my prescriptions from another pharmacy and I havent gotten an answer yet, can you pull my prescriptions from another pharmacy or do I need to call a different pharmacy? The response of the person I was talking to on the phone was Ok. They decided the best way to answer a yes or no question was just the word ok

This great business is run by some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met. They’ve always been engaged in making sure I get the correct medication in a timely manner. Additionally, unlike Walgreens and others, they keep the highest quality drug manufacturers in stock.After being a customer for over two years, I can’t think of one single complaint about Salmon Pharmacy.

I really like salmon pharmacy. They have always filled my prescriptions right. Its not super busy, so I dont have to wait. They do compounds, they are very friendly and helpful. Besides I would rather support local home pharmacies than big chains.

Been going to Salmon Pharmacy for many years. Would never go anywhere else. Pharmacy is well managed and the staff are very helpful. Pharmacy has a great reputation in the medical community. One of the few Pharmacies that will produce the compound prescription drugs right in their facility. Before I was going to the University of Utah Pharmacy to get my parents compounded RX but not anymore.

This is a terrific pharmacy. Always very accommodating and kind. The previous pharmacy owner even brought prescriptions to my home after work when I was home bound with a sick person and no transportation. I feel after dealing with them for the last 20 years they have always provided great caring service. I love all the gifty stuff in the store and they can supply you with almost anything even if it isnt on their shelves medical supply wise. They ordered a product in for us and carried it for many years just because we liked it and no one else here had it. Highly recommend!! They always can answer my questions..

Salmon pharmacists are some great people who have always been very good to me Ive been a customer for a while now theyve great!

I gave them 2 stars because they are nicer than the Costco people and cheaper than Target/CVS,. Just check what you are getting. They gave me pills that were 4x the dosage the label on bottle said they were (which matched the prescription). If I took them as the bottle instructed me to I would likely be dead. Fortunately I thought “those pills look mighty big for 2 milligrams” and looked them up.More recently they shorted me a pill - when I called back he told me that their count was off more than one pill, so they couldn’t make it right for me. Costco once shorted me and it was over 3 weeks before I discovered it. They were like “Yeah - we’ve been saving them because we knew someone would be calling.”I’ll still go there because like I said, they’re fast and friendly enough, but I will be not only opening every bottle there, I’ll be asking them to count them in front of me before I pay. The 2-star rating is because of the potential seriousness when there are mistakes made.

Im not sure what happened to that other guy, but I have had nothing but positive experiences at Salmons. Gary knows his stuff and is able and willing to take the time to ensure that you understand your prescription. All the staff puts for effort to learn your name and make sure that your needs are met. They have truly gone the extra mile for me and even called other pharmacies if they were out of my needed medicine. Im not sure of all the names, but I want to thank Amber, Aja, Sara, Sherri and Colleen. They have made me happy. I strongly recommend Salmons to anyone who wants a quality, friendly pharmacy!

Great customer service. My Wife had a tonsillectomy and ran out of her pain medication, I couldnt get off work until the exact time that they were closing, I called them and they stayed later so that I could come and grab her refill. I highly recommend them.

I have been using salmon pharmacy for several years now. We have a child who needs a medication compounded. I didnt know much about compounding pharmacists until we needed to find one. With all the struggles weve had getting help for our son, insurance fighting us every step of the way, moving away and coming back, and a few bumps with the pharmacy, the staff of Salmon pharmacy have been a great part of our sons support system. They will fight for you when most chain pharmacies wont.Note that Salmon pharmacy has moved. Google has not yet approved the change. They are in front of Winco, down the street for their old location.

Regardless of these 4- star reviews and these horrible lies I dont blame them about not compounding things that dont need to be. Crush it yourself. I was in today as I allways am once a week and my script was ready before I was. I have NEVER had anything other than EXCEPTIONAL CS and never have I ever had a slip up when someone says its ready when its not these guys are tip top and some people when they dont hey it their way will make things up and believe it themselves and thats just not who these guys are and I am far more than grateful for them instead of being jerked around by walgreens.

Super friendly staff, its still a small pharmacy that has been around Orem for a long time. They try their best to give yours deals and wont penny pinch.

Salmon is always quick with my scripts and really went the extra mile to get me the brand name medication I needed (synthroid, levothyroxine had me fatter than Id been in 2 years at the same dose) at the same low co-pay...for a 90 day supply! The staff remember who I am and are always friendly.

Never go to salmon pharmacy. My 8 week year old has heart burn and needs Prevacid compounded so she can take it with a syringe. The stupid pharmacist just kept saying the pills dissolve just put it in her bottle or on her tongue. Can you imagine trying to put a pill on baby tongue until it dissolves? Good luck! Even if it does dissolve there is no way it will all go down, it just ends up all over her face! Im pretty sure she refused to compound it because she is too dumb to figure out how to translate mg to ml, isnt she supposed to learn how to do that to be a pharmacist anyway? So I left and tried to dissolve it in her bottle, which to her credit, it does dissolve... But not enough to fit through the holes in the bottle. When I called her to prove her wrong and ask her to please compound it like I asked the first time she just said it should dissolve. Some people are so incompetent.Oh and Aja, the technician could use a class or two in customer service.I will never go there again. I only did because theyre one of the only pharmacies that will compound around here.... oh wait they wont!

Awesome costumer service, natural medicine but pretty expensive. Insurance didnt cover it so I wont be able to go back for a refill just because Im a poor college student.

Horrible! They always mess up here. Only use them if you absolutely have to. Its like amateur hour 50% of the time. They dont fill the prescription right, the forget to fill it, they make you wait long, bogged with problems. Worst pharmacy I have ever been to.
