My experience with The Plano Program was an interesting one, very different from a previous reviewer who had Audrey as their nutritionist but below is my honest, constructive review.Unfortunately, I only had three sessions with Audrey, but from the very first meeting, she seemed disinterested though I tried not to read too much into this initially and chalked it up to personality type or time of day we were meeting. It was in the evening, I was tired, she appeared to be too. She was pleasant, though, and after all, it was the first session. My analytical mind had also thought perhaps she was experiencing Zoom fatigue since we met via Zoom. As one who has been offering teletherapy (I am a Pscyhotherapist) for well over a year now, I understand Zoom fatigue (if that was the issue). The second session went well, but I felt like I didnt learn anything new and, again, tried to gauge where this was going, how the program was supposed to work. I also wondered if the reluctance to give more meat per se was because my insurance claims were still in pending status (which I sent an email to her inquiring about but never heard back from her concerning but they have since been processed by my carrier). By the 3rd session, I had to ask her if she had any concerns about the foods I was eating, the caloric value of those foods (which she was able to check via access to MyFitnessPal); even still, Audrey provided minimal information/instruction(s), so I began to question even more where the value add was or if this is just the structure of the program itself. For example, does a staff member have to meet with the client for a specific number of sessions before getting into the nuts and bolts of the program. I was scheduled to meet with Audrey for a 4th session but looked at MyFitnessPal history, saw she hadnt been active for 13 days at that point (which to me meant she had not been tracking my progress, and at that point, neither was I because I had been ill and hadnt had much of an appetite). I decided to cancel my appointment, which is unfortunate. My insurance seemed to cover the program at 100%, so it would have been great to see how far I could have progressed. I contacted The Plano Program to break out of this rut of how I was eating and to learn new and different ways of eating more nutritionally balanced meals, but unfortunately, Ill never know how the program could have worked for me.

My wife and I saw Audrey at the Plano Program. She was very knowledgeable and provided us with the motivation that we needed to get on track for a healthier lifestyle. She was honest with us and guided us in the right direction. We saw her for 6 months and we continue to use what we learned from her. She is highly recommended by us and you will be very pleased with the service you receive at the Plano Program.
