What a lovely office team. Who really wants to have a Root Canal? Well lets just say you will feel super comfortable and safe with this team! These guys are awesome!

I had a root canal by this endodontist about a year and a half ago. It was infected and I needed to return many times. I believe he did a good job. At one point I tried to make an appointment for my last visit, I called and was told I would not be able to make the appointment until my very tardy bill was paid in full. Basically I was scolded by the secretary as though I was her 6 year old child. At that point, he had received over $1500 from me and the outstanding amount was in question because the office stopped being a network provider for my insurance in the middle of my treatment. The reason I didnt pay the last amount (somewhere around $200) was because the office was supposed to communicate with my insurance company to determine if there was a mix up and figure out what amount I actually owed. In fact, his office never called me to tell me the amount, so I couldnt pay it until they clarified. Once they did that, they were paid in full. I commented at the time that I didnt appreciate being spoken to like someones delinquent child, especially in light of the fact that I was never told what amount was in arrears. Well apparently, that made me offensive although I did not know it until today. I called the office to make an appointment for yet another root canal as I have significant tooth pain and was told by my dentist I needed to have a root canal right away. This endodontist is on my insurance and I am a patient of his so I thought that was the most efficacious way to proceed and I called to make an appointment. He called me back at 6:00 PM to ask about my tooth. After discussing it, he said he would be able to see me in mid December. He also said I might have better luck with seeing someone else because his office is so busy. I became quite anxious because getting seen by doctors as a new patient has become quite difficult during the pandemic and many are not taking new patients. When I voiced my concern (after saying over and over, I understand you are very busy) but if my own doc cannot see me, what makes him think someone else will? He seemed to think that other endodontist offices would not be as busy as his, although I dont know why that would be true. He also explained that this was a new tooth so that it really didnt make me his patient...HUH??? I then explained I didnt really know what to say considering both he and the dentist agreed this tooth is just going to keep getting worse. Yet, he did not offer to see me any sooner even though I know all doctors have appointments for urgent care. When I said, I just dont even know what to say, he said that he was uncomfortable and I was being offensive, AGAIN. I said what??? Obviously, there was nothing for me to say so I only said, I hope you stay safe and hung up. So, if you dont mind waiting for months when you are in bad pain and you dont mind being spoken down to by the elderly secretary for not paying the last amount of an expensive bill you didnt know you owed, and you dont mind being called offensive because you voiced your fear of not knowing what to do in a bad situation, then by all means, go to this office for your root canal.

Dr. Daniela Marinescu is absolutely wonderful. Her calm and professional demeanor made an otherwise dreaded root canal much less unpleasant than anticipated. As someone with a lot of anxiety about the dentist, I highly recommend her gentle and efficient expertise. She put me at immediate ease.

Right before the State of CT closed down due to Covid19, I was in need of a root canal. Dr. Marinescu took me in right away. He worked on my tooth, cleaning out the roots. One of the root openings had calcified and the doctor was concerned about fracturing the tooth. Since, I had an infection the doctor prescribed an antibiotic and wanted me to come back when the infection had gone away. The State closed all businesses so I was not able to come back until recently. However, during the shutdown the doctor would call or have me call him to make sure that I was not experiencing any difficulties. I just had my last appointment and can say everything went smoothly. I have was going to another Endodontist and didnt know what I good one was until I met Dr. Marinescu. When giving me Novocaine, he never once hit a nerve, and I never came home feeling sick or nauseous like I did with the other doctor. Dr. Marinescu is a pure professional who obviously loves what he does as I shows! Thank you.

Top knotch clean facilty, friendly staff & Dr Marius Marinescu was professional, pleasant & efficient. I highly recommend him for his dental services. My first root canal went smooth from checking in to out the door going home. 5 stars!
