Went to the Walk In Clinic today. It was very fast. I saw Hancock a PA and she was very kind. Took the time to listen to my concerns.

I have a horrible time getting someone to answer the phone. Its a struggle every month to get my prescription refilled. Due to inadequate response time I normally have to go multiple days per month without meds. I think Ill be finding a new practice more interested in patient care.

It used to be a nice place, but the good doctor (Megan Caldwell) left. Nurse practitioner Amanda Adams is as mean and nasty of a human being as I have ever met. I get along with almost everyone and dont expect much of people but health care workers should have at least a modicom of kindness inside. She was undoubtedly abused as a child or has some other reason for her hatred of mankind but I suggest healthcare was the worst possible choice of professions. My wife said the same and I have had several others concur with that assessment. Ill pick another Dr and thats no big deal. However, I do believe its my responsibility to let anyone else needing healthcare to know my experience at Hedge Lane and never to go there.

We have been to this office several times since it opened. My boys and I have each been seen at least once or twice. The staff is super friendly. The doctors and nurses are knowledgeable, great with kids, thorough, and awesome with follow through!

You would think that people in the medicine field would care more about peoples health and well being over a time card. That was not the case with Olathe Health Family. My daughter woke up from her nap not feeling well and had a temp of 103.1 we decided to run her up. We pulled into the parking lot at 4:55. By the time we got inside they refused to see her. They said it was 5:00 and they had closed. Since when does a doctor refuse to a sick patient......pretty frustrated and disappointed.

Rarely have to wait more than a few minutes before the nurse comes to get you. They will take notes and listen. Dr. Martis is nice and I feel no discomfort when talking with him.

First visit and so far so good. New place and the employees care more than College Point. We shall see when this place turns into another College Point where all they care is crunching numbers.

My sons primary who is NP megan wanted to see him for his Asthma and eczema (which he has pretty bad, its been so extreme at times that hes even missed school for asthma attacks and RAW feet from the eczema) - not being able to put his shoes on because they hurt him bad. Megan wanted to see him ASAP so she set up an appointment for the 24th of Dec. I took work off and my husband came home early from work (50 min drive) so he could watch our other kids. Megan was well aware that i was only going to be able to miss 1 day of work she assured me wed be seen. A few hours before the appointment I get a phone call from the receptionist wanting to reschedule his appointment. Supposedly walk INS are more important than scheduled appointments.. i couldnt believe it.. so i Rescheduled our appointment even though I knew I wouldnt be able to take off another day of work. Unfortunately our babysitter fell through and we were unable to take him on that day. Today my husband was running a little behind because he works over 50 minutes away I called and let them know that we would be about 15 to 20 minutes late IF THAT! - We may have made it in time. They wanted us to reschedule.. no thanks. We try to work with them even though they picked walkins over a scheduled appointment and they wont-work with us. I have requested our records be sent elsewhere.Walk ins are more important here.

Loved this clinic when it first opened dr. Martis was quick efficient didnt mess around, was always in and out within an hour, then he started overbooking himself way to much and started telling me just call in to the front desk when I needed refills on my prescriptions however every time I tried that the front desk would argue with me about it force me into an appointment which I would have to wait hours for just to get my medication for a life long illness and charge me another copay on top of that, he is a great doctor but he lost three patients (me, my wife, and my son) and Im sure will lose more if he continues treating his patients like a dollar sign instead of the people they are.

Dr Caldwell had them bill insurance for services not provided so watch your EOB. When you go back to them the provider refuses to correct it even when theybare clearly in the wrong.

This doctor visit was without a doubt the least pleasureable I’ve experienced ever. Absolutely no bedside manner you would expect from a doctor, I felt I was judged on appearance and a back condition at a young age. I brought documentation; I mentioned a previously painful condition, and was met by a highly defensive staff who insisted I was only looking for drugs; when asked the doctor to take a look at my back and asses it’s condition now opposed to prior treatment; when I did, he just stood in the doorway, as if confronting me; telling me “it was fine”. Completely dismissive of my other medical condition I was there for that did not require pain drugs. I’m not sure what the deal is here. I work with drug addicts and alcoholics to heget jobs and job skills. Not everyone is a drug seeking addict, Doctor.Thank you.

I hate this place actually I’ve never seen a primary care physician only the physician assistant they just call you to do test and give results all by phone you never see a doctor in the eyes they have 0 compromised with patient also be careful they will keep everybody making mammogram every 6 month because radiologists are so bad that they Olathe radiology is not able to make a diagnosis
