Highlights: Labor and delivery unit care was absolutely outstanding. My dayshift nurse was amazing and caring.But switching to the recovery unit it was a like complete 180. Personally for me, I think it was a combination of being a new mom and the staff. Lets just say I was ready to go home after one night on the recovery unit.

The birth place is the most amazing place I could’ve had my son. First of all, it’s separate from the main hospital, which makes it way easier to not get lost when walking in. It’s very clean and organized. The nurses are amazing. Every time I went in before giving birth, they always made me feel welcomed and never made me feel bad for going in to check on baby. I had an amazing birth experience and would have 10 more kids just to stay at the birth place again (kidding but not really). Can’t recommend this place enough! I’ll definitely be having any future kids here again.

I can’t say enough about the care that the staff provided. The nurses were knowledgeable and caring. My night shift nurse when I was in labor, Michelle, was excellent. Her 20+ years of experience were evident. My day shift nurse, Pam, provided top notch care and was able to help me through those last excruciating moments of labor. The post-partum nurses were also phenomenal. The lactation consultant, Lauri, was very kind and helpful. I don’t have anything bad to say about the experience. If you’re looking for a birthing center to entrust you and your baby’s care to, look no further.

A truly superb experience from start to finish. The nurses were top notch and every one of them went above and beyond to help my wife during our recent stay. The only negative was that there werent hospital beds in the recovery room which made feeding very challenging.

This was my first pregnancy and I chose to drive an hour away to have my baby here because I heard it was the best! I heard correctly, everyone here was absolutely amazing! 😊 I had to come here 4 times in total because my pregnancy was so different. (To much details to post here). Each and every time I came here the nurses were extremely helpful, caring, attentive, and amazing. Highly recommend going here to deliver if you have the choice. Thank you to the staff here, I appreciate everything you have done for me and my family!❤️

Wonderful place to have your baby! The labor nurses were so attentive. I felt safe and knew everything was going to come out okay. The reason I give it four stars. When I was in recovering I had a terrible nurse during the night. She wasnt as caring and took my baby for almost an 1 and 1/2!! When she said it would only take 20 minutes for a bath. It made me more mad. When she didnt tell me that they were going to run tests on my baby and didnt even give me my sons results. I wish I can put her name here. So they can keep an eye on that night nurse. As for the morning I had an amazing nurse. I really liked her. She made sure baby and I were doing good. Always checked if I needed medication due to my C section and just took care of me so well.I had a great experience. Expect for that one nurse. But everyone else is amazing.

Absolutely will have all my babies here if God allows me to. I had an amazing experience both times.

We had our first baby here. We were impressed with 1. the facilities 2. the nurses 3. the doctors. The birth center was impressively clean, met all our medical needs instruments and facilities - wise, provided enough supplies for the baby and the mother. We had the baby and the mother being monitored periodically during the two-day stay postpartum. The birth center was kind to visitors also. The nurses were all well - trained and exceptionally compassionate. None shrugged away from their duties and were quiet responsible. As we were new parents, we sought their help in the smallest things too in baby care and they did not hesitate to explain things repeatedly. Each one went beyond our expectations, although I want to mention Heather D. for her immense effort and care during my delivery. I can not thank her enough. She is an angel from up above. Post-partum nurses Jordan, Jen and Sarah were no less. We received great help and tips on breastfeeding too. Doctor Emily Mathiesen did an excellent job with the delivery and made it easy for me. Her easy-going nature kept me relaxed during my prenatal visit and labour too. I highly recommend her. Last but not the least, the food was great, had a wide spread and included every meal for the dad also.

I had the pleasure of spending time here for the birth of my granddaughter. It could not have been a better experience! The staff was wonderfully thoughtful and professional. The facility seems like it was designed by patients and visitors- everything we needed was at our disposal. It all made for a grand entrance to the world for our precious new baby!

Awesome nursing staff--extremely kind and caring. Nice new facility. This place really sets the bar as far as the kind of experience it provides. From my perspective as the dad, its much more inclusive and inviting. Food was so-so but non issue relative to the care and accommodations provided. Highly recommended.

The RNs my wife was assigned after her C-section were very rude to us, giving us dirty looks and speaking to us like we dont know how to take care of our child. This place is fancy and all, but they need to hire new, nicer staff.

Birth Place is phenomenal! Staff were professional and respectful of privacy. DrBavishi did an excellent job with my c section and I had a quick recovery. Seamless.

Every nurse at the Olathe Birth Place ranked as the best nurse we ever encountered. They treated my wife like a treasured guest. They even treated the husband well. Highest recommendation.

We had a very good experience at the birth place. The nurses were all wonderful. We also had our twins in the NICU for 3 weeks and I cannot say enough for the care in the NICU. Those nurses by far are gold standard. Thanks!!

Great place to go to have your baby! The staff was extremely nice, they checked on me and baby alot, made sure we had everything we needed and made sure I was ok. Just an all around great place for all your medical needs.

My wife and I delivered our first baby here recently, and it was an excellent experience thanks to the compassionate staff here. In particular, our L&D nurse Kriesa went above and beyond expectations. Not only did she and the others provide expert medical care, but freely offered positivity and moral support throughout this new and challenging time for us, which made a huge difference for my wife.The rooms for both delivery and recovery are top-notch! Theres more than enough space to make sure mom and baby feel relaxed, even while having family and friends staying with them. Highly recommend Olathe Medical and their Birth Place.

Beautiful new facility with spacious room and state of the art service.

The recovery room was amazing, it felt like a hotel with a huge Jacuzzi tub, big wall window, queen size bed, and big flat screen tv. Each nurse we had was amazing, and each one taught me something new for caring for my newborn. I felt very well taken care of after my delivery.The only thing that wasnt five stars was the food service. It is still a new process for them at this time. When trying to order at 7am (first available time to order), they said it wouldnt be up to our room until 9:30am -(not good when youre a starving new mom)..We asked if my husband could go down and grab it, and they said we couldnt because thats a different area with different foods, and wed have to pay for it (even though your meals are supposed to be included). I suggested they do something to make that an option to run down and get the food yourself if their service would take too long.

Beware of this place nurse was horrible not to mention they screwed-up my daughter SS card it went to the wrong house, I had to apply for a replacement.
