I completed my college internship for Recreation Therapy at Windsor during the pandemic and during this time it was wonderful being able to see staff attentive as well as being able to quickly adapt to the times. We were not allowed to have group activities, but staff helped implement bedside activities to keep them engaged.The staff here always puts what is best for the residents and I feel grateful to have interned under such great examples. Here at Windsor I learned about Recreation Therapy, worked under caring staff, residents were great, and just loved the overall community.

I interned at Windsor healthcare center of Oakland. It was such a unique learning experience. Staff members are really caring for residents. If an issue was brought up whether it’s related to residents or staff, the administrator would address it immediately. With interning at Windsor I was able to expand my knowledge about recreation therapy!

Windsor offers one of the best wound care treatment services in skilled nursing along with IV antibiotics, physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy, surrounded by loving staff members like CNA’s, Nurses, Doctors and activities members that allow residents to keep interacting with others in the community. All of this has been possible thanks to Great leadership team that the current Administrator Maria Thompson has integrated to Windsor Healthcare. I definitely recommend this place for you and your love ones!

They seem to be very caring but have not been beyond the front door of facility due to covid to witness 1st hand. The telephone situation is weird since the patients dont have their own phones so cannot call direct...you have to call & give them your phone number, thy take a phone to the patient & then call you back. When patient is finished, they come remove the phone.

My grandmother has received amazing care here. She fervently believes she’s doing the right thing by being here. She loves the staff members. Physical therapy helps her out and is very sweet and loving to her. I cannot thank enough of how much this hospital cares for my grandmother. The Nurse’s here are great ! Always friendly to the patients and they give 100% great care. Thank you Windsor for taking great care of my grandmother

Windsor has taken fabulous exceptional care of my grandmother . My grandmother claims how much she loves it there ! The staff is very friendly and they all do have a great heart

The place reeks of excrement. The staff is rude and neglectful. My friend is in agony and they dont give hom his medication.

Nice place to stay while recovering from hospital stay.

12/8/14 My Aunt was transferred there, I was very Pleased with the greeting from Glenda and the staff was very helpful with Questions. The resident seem to be happy and place smelled clean and felt warm. Several staff members inquired if they can assist. Admission Director Sharmian was very knowledgle and answered all my questions. I used the call button for my aunt and the aid was there after a few seconds so far what I see I am pleased. They are very attentative. They are going thru a transition and will be upgrading the facilities soon. That improvement will surely make the place pleasing to stay.
