Dr. Plotke and her team are professional, attentive, and transparent. I recently had a mole removed and it was quick and healed nicely. They provided all costs upfront and had me scheduled quickly. Highly recommend!

Expect to leave voice messages that are not returned, communicate through text messages, be asked to complete paperwork before an appointment is scheduled, be asked for your credit card number the day before your appointment, and lastly, wait 40 min after the scheduled time to be seen. If you want to be respected, go somewhere else. There are several options in the area.

If you need a dermatologist, none better. Appointments are always on time. Greets you with a smile by name. Extremely knowledgeable. Very competent assistants. A1 office staff. Lafayette and Oakland offices.

Cant discourage enough. Dr. Plotke has a pleasant enough bedside manner, but her Office Manager, Claire, is a pill and a half.I had a billing issue here, and they fought me tooth & nail over twenty whole dollars. Im not sure what their revenue is, practice-wide, but any other office Ive ever had an issue with resolves issues quickly. This took nearly an hour on the phone, five people, and six calls.If they bill you correctly, great-- but if they mess up, just know you are in for pulling teeth.
