Love this beautiful gem of a park. It is well cared for and most folks you encounter are nice. Biggest drawback is the constant AUTO BURGLARY!!! This shouldnt be acceptable in our society and its not the fault of people leaving belongings in their car.

One of the few places in the bay area to ride legal single on your bike. Pretty much all the trails are under the trees so its a good place to go when its hot out. It can get pretty crowded so be aware of whats around the corner.

This is such an amazing park with a great set of trails through a variety of beautiful forest habitats. It also has dog parks, amazing stairs along the “cascade”, a horse arena, and lots of picnic areas. I don’t recommend hiking on Cinderella or Chaparral trails due to their popularity with cyclists, but I have very good experiences encountering cyclists and horses in the park. The park has a good balance of trails that allow cyclists and trails that don’t.

A friend and I decided to have a last minute hike. I had been wanting to hike with friends for a while and glad I was able to find someone to go with. You would never think this place was only about 20 minutes away from dt Oakland. Its beautiful, peaceful, tranquil and serene.

A spacious and lovely site with deck overlooking estuary in the Oakland hills right off Hwy 13 above Mormon Temple. Small parking immediately adjacent to community room with good parking a short paved walk away.

Gorgeous facility. Great for large meetings. Amazing view of Oakland and the Bay

Polling place in my neighborhood. Very nice with great views of the Bay. Reminds me of the same style of building as my old elementary school. Parking and restrooms.

Great place to have any of your private or public functions. Nestled in amongst the Redwoods and Pine trees, it has great ambiance.

It was pretty nice and was there for a friends 80th birthday celebration!!!

Easy to get to with plenty of parking. And the trails are close!

Awesome trails and some good climbs and downhills with a few rock gardens

Had a great time at the community center visit the Oakland Wine Festival which held their annual wine festival at Joaquin Miller Community Center and the Festival was great for the 4th time in a row,Melody Fuller has made the Oakland wine festival a yearly event that has put Oakland on the map for wine event.
