Creates a very friendly and caring environment. Feel very fortunate that I was finally able to find Kristin Penza.

I was so impressed with Dr. Penza’s approach. My son and daughter went to see her and in both cases, she created a relaxing, comfortable environment which lead them to not feel a stigma for using her services. Kristin is empowering, supportive and so incredibly knowledgeable. We are forever grateful and highly recommend her.

Dr. Penza is fantastic! It was easy to schedule the appointment and I was seen right away. She was warm and friendly and her evaluation was thorough. I would recommend her to anyone seeking her services.

I had originally met Dr. Penza when I made an appointment for my son, which led to a professional relationship with Dr. Penza that has been fostered for almost four years. When I first met Dr. Penza, I was with my youngest son who had had a severe concussion in football while in High School. She greeted us warmly and made my son feel comfortable during the testing process. Her testing was thorough and demonstrated her knowledge of the neuropsychological field with a very detailed assessment of my sons academic and mental health struggles due to the severity of his injury. I was impressed that she scheduled time after completion of the assessment to discuss her Diagnosis and recommendations to assist my son in his struggles in school. This report was so valuable and easy to read with comprehensive testing scores. The School District was very impressed with her evaluation and I had absolutely no problem acquiring Special Educational Services for my son. In fact he is in college now and I have provided Dr. Penzas evaluation to the Academic Support Team at the college he is attending. They were able to use her recommendations to assist my son accommodations so that he could access the academics in college. With this said, I am a Special Educational Advocate, I have referred Dr. Penza to over twenty clients in the past three years. She is accessible and the children I represent are very comfortable with her as they sit for testing. She is my go to Doctor for many of my complex cases because Dr. Penza thinks outside the box, she always goes one step further to ensure that these children will have access to a 504 Plan or an IEP with the comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations that she completes. Her professionalism and knowledge, and care for her clients is why I continue to refer to her.I would absolutely recommend Dr. Kristin Penza, and I do almost weekly.Joann Lebherz, Special Educational Advocate and mother.

Appointment at 1pm. No check in person. Around 1:10 I find someone in the hallway, it’s her. She’s got tape between her eyes. Scotch tape. I ask if I’m in the right location. She tells me to have a seat and she’ll be with me when she’s done eating. So we didn’t get seen until 1:35ish. I would not have been 20 minutes early for the appointment (with three kids) as asked if this was going to be the situation. Unprofessional. I’m called in to talk first. I’m giving her all this personal information, everything’s fine, conversations calm. She asks me about my almost 17 year olds diet. Things turn. She immediately starts yelling at me! Yelling! She wants me to force feed my almost 18 year old fruits and vegetables. Also, apparently, he just has to take vitamins and it’s going to be a miracle and he’s going to be 100%. She then was very mad I was not going to bring him to some holistic diet person that she recommended. Kickbacks?? I should have gotten up and walked out right then. Extremely unprofessional woman. During my sons session she was trying to force my son to drink water during his testing. He refused. She wasn’t happy. Get a call weeks later to come in and discuss results. I said I don’t want to do that and I’d like paperwork send to me. Still waiting. It’s been over a month. She won’t return the numerous phone messages left regarding this issue. I would absolutely not recommend this woman to anyone. I will absolutely tell other parents and teachers to not seek help from this unprofessional person.
