Was recommended by a friend after the only dentist I’d ever gone to retired. Gorgeous office with modern equipment. Dr.Jeong & staff were very friendly. The Doctor explained all his concerns about my teeth & answered any questions I had. The visit was thorough & wasn’t rushed at all. I was very happy with my visit.

I strongly do not recommend Bene Dental, especially for children.We had a traumatic experience not once, but twice while trying to have my 5 year old’s baby tooth removed. Prior to this experience my daughter actually loved going to the dentist and always willingly followed the dentist’s instructions. She had 3 fillings done at our regular dentist with no problems and each one was done at separate appointments ( 1 filling per appointment, no issues at any appointment.) Bene Dental was recommended to us for having her tooth removed because they could use gas for a less traumatic experience.Upon first impressions I honestly liked Bene Dental. Dr. Jeong was very friendly and informative. He made me comfortable in choosing him to work with my daughter. After assessing my daughter’s tooth, he said we should wait until it begins to bother her or until an abscess forms so as not to put her through any trauma. I agreed, and after a few weeks An abscess had formed so we went back.We moved forward to have the tooth removed. My daughter opened her mouth as usual, a topical Novocain was applied as normal, we waited about 5-10 min for that to take and then like all the times before it was time for the Novocain, only he didn’t try and hide the needle, he actually made it very noticeable to her that it was a needle. Unlike all the other times before she felt this one and immediately closed her mouth. When we were able to convince her to open again he went back in and yet again she felt it and that was all it took - she refused to open her mouth again. We rescheduled for a weeks out. He then handed me a prescription for a sedative stating several times if I didn’t need to give it to her, don’t. It was very strong.I could not find a place that could fill this prescription for us. The day of her appointment we called Dr. Jeong and told him we couldn’t find anywhere that could fill it, his response was that it’s a hard prescription to find. Going forward with the appointment appointment, my daughter goes in and opens her mouth as promised. We had asked for the gas and was told we could use it AFTER attempting one more time because he believed it could be more stressful for her … he applied the novocain - both topically with a gel and then the needle, never checks to see if it took and proceeded to give the tooth a little pressure and my daughter broke down with pain. After this she refused to trust him or my husband and wouldn’t let anybody put the mask on to administer the gas. We were met with attitude by Dr. Jeong and told maybe someplace else would be best.We then brought her to another dentist, South shore pediatrics dentistry in Weymouth where they started us on an antibiotic BECAUSE NOVOCAIN WONT TAKE DUE TO THE ACIDIC NATURE OF THE ABSESS!!!My daughter is traumatized and struggles with the dentist now. We never know if she is going to cooperate and open her mouth or be scared and refuse. I 100% blame Bene Dental because he should have known to give her an antibiotic, and this could have all been avoided.I strongly advise seeking elsewhere.

Dr. Deborah Kim treated me and it was great. Prob the best Dr. I’ve ever met. I came there from a far distance, but it was worth the time. She explained everything in a way that easy to understand, and she treated me humanly with a heart, not as another patient she has to get over with. Also, the job was done well. I would recommend this place to everybody.

Our family have been patients for more than a year now and appreciate the attention to detail the doctors have provided. It’s helpful to see the actual photos of my teeth while explaining potential issues and ways to correct. Because of this I have a better understanding of how to improve my dental health which is greatly appreciated. The entire staff is friendly and professional.

Modern and the cleanest facility Ive been to! Staff are very friendly and thoughtful. They have a ceiling mounted display where I watched game highlights while I received my procedure. I have moved back to the area after many years. I read the reviews and I believe what I read. I needed two crowns replaced, and yes BeneDental worked with me to bill one in 2020 & one in 2021 to maximize my dental insurance and my out of pocket costs.Before having my second crown started I paid over $700 out of pocket without seeing an invoice, and this was not including what my insurance covers. When both crowns were ready to be permanently place I was informed by the receptionist Lauren that I needed to pay an additional $840.00I have seen many dentists and have had more than my fair share of crowns and dental work. I have NEVER been asked to pay without seeing an invoice, I have NEVER had a receptionist say I owe $840.00 and be so indignant claiming that this is how it is done, and that BeneDental was doing the clients a favor by billing your insurance!Professionally nor personally do I pay without seeing an invoice, and I can’t believe that BeneDental would expect a client to.A receptionist should only answer phones, scheduled appointments, and other office responsibilities. A receptionist should not handle billing and financial transactions!

This is a great practice. Everyone works hard to try and meet your schedule, and are very helpful and clear when it comes to dental work you need.

Great first visit. Drs Jeong and Kim were very welcoming as was the receptionist. Everything was explained well- no surprises. The care provided was thorough & with a gentle technique. Being retired and without dental insurance, I was looking for a provider that would suit my situation. Luckily I received a mailing with Benedental’s own dental plan which is perfect for my needs.

My experience with BENE Dental was outstanding. I was able to schedule an appointment promptly as a new patient and was warmly welcomed into BENE Dentals immaculately spotless office. The protocols in place to keep patients and BENE staff safe during the pandemic are excellent. Dr. Jeong was thoughtful in his work and kind, taking time to answer my questions. I’m not a new patient with Dr young or his staff which I must say go above and beyond for their patients .Dr Young being my dentist never ceases to amaze me at how wonderful he treats me and no matter how many times I break my tooth he continuously will fix it for me and it’s all on me and he never even charges me and he’s so patient he’s so caring and his ethics go above and beyond I never in my life have worked with a doctor whose ethics go above and beyond and I was quite surprised one day I called his office and they where closed and he came to work to take care of my mouth which was an emergency to me but maybe not to him but he still came nonetheless opened his office told me I apologize there was no staff to check you in however I’m here to do that for you. And I left the happiest woman.I have never had a doctor come in to work who’s not working for one patient that was amazing as It just blew me right out of the water I will never leave this man as long as I am on the planet he’s he’s just his ethics are crazy I would suggest if you’re looking for a dentist he is the dentist to go to Dr. Young he is so patient and so caring and so loving and he will go above and beyond and do whatever it is that his patient needs that’s crazy who comes into work on the day off for a patient it was Dr. Young thank you Dr. Young again and thank you so much for your staff they are you - you have a wonderful staff...Patricia

Dr. Jeongs office is clean and bright, very comfortable settings for adults and my two year old daughter. My husband and myself took advantage of the $ 99 new customer package, other office sometimes offer such deal, but the service was done by a dental hygienist. The cleaning service provided by Dr. Jeong himself was great, he spent time to explain to me how to maintain it as much as possible. He is kind, gental and very accommodating. The staff is courteous! Big thumbs up! I highly recommended to my circle of friends.
