I found myself in a situation where I needed a criminal defense attorney. The way the situation was painted by the prosecution, I thought my best option was to take a plea. Luckily I went to Tom Kokonowski. Tom assured me I not only had enough of a case to go to trial but it was quite possible he could win it. Totally ignored me....stretched my auto accident suit out till the LAST DAY of the 3 year limit...after the first meeting I could never talk with him...had a good paralegal at the start but she quit....would not refer him to anyone.....watch out!! To involved with his Hooka Lounge project at the time I guess.....Money I got didnt come close to medical expenses and I still have problems from the accident that I am paying for on my own.

Attorney Thomas Kokonowski is one of the best, if not the best criminal defense lawyers in the area. Tom has come to my aid numerous times. Everytime I have had to use him he exceeds any and all expectations for legal council. Other lawyers I have worked with seem to leave their clients out in the dark. Beyond excellent representation. Jesse Adams really knows what he is doing. If you need legal assistance in western mass, this is the place to go. Id like to preface by saying that I never write reviews, however, I have had such successful experiences with Attorney Kokonowski that I feel like its well deserved. I was referred to him by someone who was charged with drunk driving in a company van during work hours. He was fired from his job and lost his license. Attorney Kokonowski had fought for him and he was found not guilty and he also got him his job back. This is why I met with him. I have since hired him on two occasions, once was a criminal case and the other was for a car accident. Id like to start with the criminal case...from the beginning Attorney Kokonowski was very down to earth and straight to the point with me. He was so confident in his abilities to beat these types of cases that I knew I could put my trust in him, whereas the other two attorneys I met with did not make me feel like that. I believe his exact words to me were, I cant promise you that I will win this case, but what I can say is that Ive never lost one and then he told me I was going to be okay. This is why I chose to go with him and Im so glad I did. Considering I had a lot to lose if I was found guilty, it was probably one of the most nerve racking things Ive ever experienced. He advised me to go with a jury trial as opposed to a bench trial and so I did. I just want to say that when you see him in the courtroom its obvious that he truly knows what hes doing and when I heard the jury say not guilty I literally broke down crying. This is why I have had three people I know hire him....and even though they were all very different, he won all three cases. As for the injury case, I found that him and his paralegal were very easy to work with. My case went on for about a year, but that was because I had 17 weeks of physical therapy and then multiple other doctors appointments for months. I believe that he was able to get me what I deserved for all that I had been through. Needless to say, there arent enough good things I can say about him and I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

*BEFORE YOU HIRE TOM READ FOR YOUR OWN GOOD* The worst lawyer I have ever encountered. I was wrongly arrested for assault and battery and hired Tom Kokonowski to represent me. He held on to information I gave him to give to the prosecutor that would result in the case being dropped. He did this so that he could collect an addiction $2500.00 from me to take it past pre-trial. I was innocent so I was not giving up. I fired him and and hired Dana Goldblatt, she gave the information to the DA that I had tried to get Tom to give to them, and my case was almost immediately dropped. I did not have to make another court appearance. Please do not make the same mistake I did
