If you want the best massage youve ever had, visit The Pure Massage & Spa. Ive been here twice and my boyfriend went with me yesterday, and we felt absolutely incredible after our massages. The ladies were very professional, communicative, and skilled. The massage was very affordable, too. We will definitely go back, and soon! In fact, its too bad we cant go everyday! 😁 Two thumbs up for this place!!!👍👍

Best massage I’ve ever received. Came here last minute as a walk-in since every place was booked, and it was far better than the most extreme overpriced massages you get at fancy corporate spas. They’re professional, the environment is relaxing and well decorated, and most important of all, the massage is done with the right pressure in the right places! I’ll definitely be back, and if anyone asks for massage recommendations, this will be mentioned as my go-to for sure.

Got a massage today and I feel so much better now, my neck and shoulder area was so tight and Angela did a great job!!! The massage was only $45 for an hour since they are doing a November special love it amazing!!! The place is new so it’s very clean and they have a steam sauna which I will be back for next time.

My girlfriend and I went in on a Friday evening to get foot massages. She ended up getting a combination 30 min foot and 30 min body massage, and I stuck with a 1 hour foot massage.Her technique was very good, pressure was just right and the speed of her movement was very relaxing. Overall it was one of the better foot massages I have ever received. Communication was clear and the space was quiet, very clean and pleasant. I would recommend them to anybody who is looking for a less expensive massage in town that is still very good!I want to add that I am also a licensed massage therapist and have been practicing since 2004. I have had a LOT of massages and provided thousands of my own.Regarding the 1 star review left by another person: From my professional perspective, this really disappoints me, especially as the first review this business received! I believe that it amounts to a lack of understanding on the reviers part of the fact that spa and massage services are clearly part of the hospitality industry. Most people are well aware that tipping your server at a restaurant is a must (even if they arent very generous about it) but it seems that people do not expect that they have to tip a bodyworker!Perhaps this is because they feel that the starting price of the service is already high. While an hour long massage for $45-100 may seem like a lot, a therapist is NOT doing 40 hours worth of sessions per week. To do so is a recipe for repetitive strain injury and a short-lived career. As such, bodyworkers are not making as much as you may imagine from the cost of services.Combine that with the overhead of running a small business and astronomical rent to be located in downtown Northampton and there are a lot of real good reasons she would be disappointed for no tip.So, as a public service announcement...TIP YOUR MASSAGE THERAPIST/BODYWORKER. Theres really no excuse not to. If you cant afford to then you should get a shorter session or none at all.
