Dr. Nicasio listens, explains and allows for you to be a team member in your care. He has exceptional bed side manners!

Dr. Nicasio has been a bad experience for me as a transgender patient. He has misgendered me frequently, then acted like he had no idea I was transgender and asked questions that are completely unacceptable to ask members of the transgender community. His care has not been consistent. He does not remember what we discussed in our previous appointments. I am looking for a new provider. If you are a transgender patient needing anything related to endocrinology do not see this provider!

My experience with Dr. John Nicasio has been exceptional. Though I must add that the Cooley Dickinson system often lacks empathy and consideration in other services and with other patients needs.

Please dont waste your time with this doctor. You will not be happy as he seems to not be very knowledgeable about his patients problems.

He was able to get me a lot of answers I’d previously waited months for.He is thorough and he is very matter of fact. I like this in a doctor. I feel very safe at that office, unfortunately not always the case with medical offices.

Dr. Nicasio was terrible. He spent most of the appointment dictating my medical chart into his computer and never actually examined me or made eye contact. He told me that I was fat and middle aged and shouldnt expect to feel better than I do. I walked out. Avoid this ahole.

Dr. Nicasio has helped me achieve significant reductions in my A1C level. He takes the time to answer questions in person & via the patient portal & does an excellent job of offering a variety of treatment options. After changing to CDH I no longer have to wait up to 3 months for follow-up appointments & when I arrive for scheduled appointments I am seen promptly.

This doctor is very experienced and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him to family and friends.
