Dr Norris is the most knowledgeable and helpful back doctor Ive ever seen. Also notable for an unhurried visit.

Dr. Norris is the first doctor to take my back pain seriously and figure out what the full reasons are for my pain. He went above and beyond to help me the best he could to receive multiple treatment options, for my pain. I wouldnt have been able to get the treatment I needed, without him!He does alot more than the normal doctor would, including meeting with the surgeon in person, to get to know what kind of Surgeon they were. Which is who he referred me to and knowing that made me feel that much more comfortable going through with my surgery.

I found Dr Norris to be a friendly person and an extremely knowledgable care giver. Once he heard about my plight through my stepson, he took and hour of his time out of his weekend to offer me information, a correct diagnosis and comfort when I was beyond distressed. His shot was in the right place (unlike previous pain management specialists). I recommend him highly, especially for accurate diagnosis and correct information. Thanks so much!

I have seeing Dr Norris for years due to having degenerative disc disease. He has ordered tests even referred me to neurosurgeons, when I needed surgey. that Ive needed. He takes the time to explain my health issues, my diagnosis, and my treatments.I always feel relief leaving his office. Highly recommend him to everyone that I know who could use his expertise.

This man is dangerous. By which I mean a dangerously irresponsible practitioner with no regard for the effect of his diagnoses and how they are explained to patients. He did not do me physical harm. However, a few years ago I was in the middle of a BA in dance and had low back pain. He diagnosed me with sacroiliac instability and told me my aspirations of being a dancer were now over. I could maybe be a choreographer. From a chair.I was told to immediately stop all physical activity and change my life plan--that there was no treatment whatsoever for this condition, which is completely false--all with the bedside manner of a causal conversation about the weather.I was 21 years old.More recently, I found a PT who has cured my lower back pain through manipulation and strengthening exercises. I mentioned today that I had seen an awful doctor who diagnosed me with SI instability. She said, Oh, Dr. Norris? He says that to everyone he sees. I was dumbfounded. Everyone? Everyone Ive seen, she replied.I am doing ballet and pointe again. I was lucky that I was not satisfied with his diagnosis and prognosis--he literally told me that NOTHING would help, EVER, and I would be in pain for the rest of my life and the only thing for it was to stop dancing. However, I went on to many providers until I found one who actually cured 17 years of back pain in a few months through pelvic floor stabilization.I worry that his cavalier attitude will harm others, especially young people who dont know not to immediately trust someone because theyre an MD.Do not see this doctor. I HIGHLY recommend Orthopedic Physical Therapy in Greenfield. They have saved my dance career. Dr. Norris could have ruined my life if I had let him.

I saw Dr. Noris after having a severe fall and a referral from the Cooley Dickinson Hospital ER Dr Whitney Schotz and. I was told that he was genius by Dr.Schotz and after being treated by him I truly concur with her opinion. I have been told for about the last 12 years and several surgeries that I would have to live with the pain that is constant in my life for the rest of my life. Dr. Noris found the problem and will be doing surgery to repair it and I will have my life back. I had tears of joy and I’m so grateful to Dr. Schotz for her referral. We have to jump through a few hoops for insurance purposes but I have no doubt in my mind that Dr. Noris will fix my problem. All I can say is kudos to this medical firm and his expertise.
