It was long overdue and needed to get my glasses adjusted, and re-fitted. I called this morning, and asked if I could schedule an appt. for this (covid-19 reasons). She said stop in today. When I got there I was helped right away. To my delight, my glasses were fixed where they should be on my nose! Thanks again!

It took two months to get my glasses. When the first pair arrived, when I said no, telling me they were in, and had a big scratch. I was told the scratch wasnt in the field of vision, and asked of I wanted to pick them. The rep I spoke to seemed surprised when I said no, I didnt want a pair with a scratch. I waited and waited, finally calling again to see where my prescription was. I was then informed that they had come in, but were the wrong prescription. I found that out only because I called them finally, after TWO months, the correct prescription arrived.while I like the glasses, I was VERY disappointed on the customer service, especially after receiving such great service from Kens Eyewear.

This is THE WORST optical shop. The optician broke my lenses. The people they hire are incompetent. What can you expect from the McDonalds of optical shops.

Yes, they are pricier than some other options, but they are super professional, knowledgeable and with so many years of real experience. Have received amazing service from them over the years, and they even helped when me get replacement glasses for my father as he entered end-of-life care, really going out of their way. I will continue to shop with them now as I did when they were known as Kens Eyewear (now called My Eye Dr).

For the most part, Ive had a good experience with Kens Eyewear in Northampton. I bought a pair of prescription sunglasses and distance glasses with their buy one get one deal a couple of months ago. My distance glasses fell off my end table and I got a mark in the center of the right lens and it had to be replaced. I took them into Kens and was waited on immediately, as always, and the man who waited on me said because I got these glasses for free, that there was no warranty and I needed to pay to have the lens replaced. It cost about $125 to replace the lens. I was pretty surprised how pricey it seemed to be, but I needed them, so I said okay and paid for it. Believe it or not, it took longer for them to replace the lens than it did for my prescription sunglasses and distance glasses order. So I finally went to pick them up yesterday, and the woman who waited on me handed me back the two lenses that they replaced. I said, wait, I only needed the right lens replaced because there was a crack in it. Why was the other one replaced, it didnt need it, it was fine. She said the man who took the order was filling in. I said when he took the order, he knew that it was the right lens that needed, why did he order the both of them to be replaced. She said well hes no longer with us. And that was that. I paid to have two lenses replaced when I only needed one replaced. So buyer beware. Next time, Im going to go to Lenscrafters. They also have Ray Bans, my favorite sunglasses. But Im going to be more aware of getting ripped off, no matter who I go to.

Its a real head scratcher how anyone can give this place anything but a rave review. I am visiting from Florida and broke an old pair of prescription readers. I went to Kens for the repair. Repair was made quickly and at no charge and a free case was given to me for my now repaired readers! Wow!! And it was also a pleasure to be waited on by two very gracious ladies. Now, if Kens would only open an office in Florida......

I went in looking for frames for my daughter and left within 3 minutes because we were treated so disrespectfully. Instead of welcoming us and our business, I was badgered about not knowing the exact name of my daughters eye physician. Due to the argumentative tone that I was greeted with, they lost our business very quickly!

This rating is for frame repair. Ive never dealt with them for anything else. I brought in a pair of glasses that dropped off the top of a moving vehicle (I did the old leave them on the roof of the car and drive away trick). They were fairly bent and twisted on one side Of course my warranty had run out. He was able to bend the metal back and bend the hinge back in place and it only took him about 5 minutes. These are expensive frames so replacing them with something comparable wouldve been pricey. He charged me ten bucks, which I was happy to pay. $10 for a quick repair beats $400+ for new frames any day.
