AVOID! This place is a waste of time company that never answers the phone or gives call backs. They do not bill insurance correctly. They cancel appointments just hours before, with no notification, and STILL CHARGE you. Then they refuse to acknowledge their own mishaps with the phone system and put it on YOU to fix the mess THEY made... All these extremely questionable and unethical actions of the office staff is indicative of the absolute MESS this company is. AVOID!

I spent approximately 30 minutes filling out paperwork before my meeting for a tele-therapy appointment, which I sent in 3 hours before my appointment.I missed their check in call 80 minutes before the meeting, which I called back immediately to check in. I waited on hold for over 5 minutes to check in, and was told everything was fine, and to be on the Zoom link in time for my meeting.I got on the meeting early, and then waited for 12 minutes after the meeting was to be scheduled before calling the office to see if the therapist was running late. I was placed on hold for over 9 minutes before I spoke to someone who knows whats happening, who informed me that because I didnt check in that my meeting was cancelled.I didnt receive an email to inform me that the meeting was cancelled for not checking in.I have no idea if they are good therapists here, but their office is extremely mismanaged.

I had my first appt. at Community Psychiatry with Dr.Cory McNamara. First I’ve experienced great service from the intake department, insurance department and follow up phone calls. I believe it’s Abbie who’s called me and she was very nice and helpful. My first Appt. With Dr.McNamara went very well. He was AMAZING at understanding what I have been experiencing/feeling and made me feel like he understood what I was going through. Which was such a relief to me!!! I felt very comfortable with him and felt no sense of judgement. What I really appreciate about Dr.McNamara is him allowing you to have input in the treatment plan. He would ask you what you felt would work best for you!! I highly recommend Dr.Cory McNamara! Thank you!

What a terrible company. No return phonecalls and then just sends you a bill in the mail.

I found Community Psychiatry and Dr. Brenda Garro through Aetnas provider portal. Im shopping, so to speak, for a new psychiatrist. I randomly picked my last one (without screening him) and dont intend to make the same mistake again. I want someone who I feel comfortable with... I called to schedule LESS THAN 5 MINUTES to speak to Dr. Garro prior to setting an appointment. I just wanted a sense of her style of communication. Her receptionist called me back and said shes too busy, but that I can schedule an appointment with her and pay the consultation fee. No, thank you. Id rather find a psychiatrist who A) has time for me and B) is willing to go the extra mile for potential/current patients.

If I could give them a zero in stars I would! They described one of the doctors as serving the under served. I thought perfect. This is what I need for my sister who is disabled and in need of a new psychiatrist because of a recent move and change in insurance. This place was one that was given to me by the insurance company. Sounds easy, but it wasnt. I felt a lot of friction from the receptionist and finally she told me they did not take the plan that my sister is on. They actually do I just reconfirmed it. Perhaps it was because of her needs being too needy. Perhaps it was just another South Orange County Snub. My sister deserves better. I will keep going down the list.

Dr leela ghadavi was amazing. She help with my issues and know I feel so much better. She is kind and caring. Thank you doc
