I was recommended by a family member who knew Dr. Kan personally, after feeling like we needed that little extra help to conceive. We trusted Dr. Kan and his team from the get go and our interests aligned- hes the only doctor we saw for our fertility needs. We had our initial consultation in early May and conceived for the first time ever the following month in late June. We couldnt believe it would happen so quickly! We were mentally prepared to go down the long road of fertility treatment with the team, including IVF if we had to. We felt like Dr.Kan was very confident in our diagnosis and treatment for us. As far as appointments, they were all very flexible and I was in and out very efficiently, rarely had to wait more than 10 minutes (versus some OB offices that could take over 45 minutes just to be seen). The front desk is very knowledgable and is quick to respond or get back to me whenever I was wanting test results back or prescription updates. We graduated early to my OB last week and we will definitely return back if we need assistance for our second child.

Does not seem knowledgeable on helping older women 40+ optimize their chances with their own eggs. Suggested donor eggs to me when I still have regular menses and MII oocytes that fertilize. Go see Dr. Amin at Reproductive Partners or Dr. Irene Woo who will put you on estradiol during your luteal phase and growth hormone. I ended up retrieving 3x the eggs than before of which half reached blastocyst stage and PGT tested normal. I would not have had that success with Dr. Kan who is pessimistic and has textbook boxed in thinking.

Dr. Kan is professional, optimistic, with strong work ethic. Dr Kan always made me feel like he was treating not just a patient but a family member. He is caring, I couldnt trust any other fertility Dr. but him. His knowledge and confidence made the whole process so easy. His staff his the best as well.Forever grateful for helping families grow.

Dr. Kan is brilliant, thorough, dedicated, and equips you with the best possible route to success. Unlike other doctors I experienced, you can trust him not to jump to the most expensive treatment option before trying other avenues. They created an environment that is very trusting and was always available for same day consults or appointments. We are blessed to have had success, and it was bitter sweet to “graduate” from their office, as I trust his advice and treatment so much. Cannot recommend him enough.

I wanted a clinic close to work. I wasnt sure what to look for when I started this process but I knew I wanted a place that I felt safe and clean. My first couple of visits were just to make sure my health is all good. Once I showed up at Newport Fertility Center, I knew this is a good clinic. All the staffs are professional and the office is very clean.Throughout this process, the nurses and team responded back to my questions and concerns in a quick, timely, and professional manner. I didnt understand all the medical terms but they were able to simplify everything. Dr. Kan also called me whenever he has updates. He and his team of amazing nurses helped guide me through this complicated process.My dream of starting a family is finally happening. We wanted twins and we are having twins. I highly recommend Newport Fertility Center to anyone.

I have been to Dr. Kan for two different rounds of IUI fertility treatment, both very successful with healthy babies (one still cooking)! The office is clean, efficient, and makes the process easy and painless. Highly recommend Dr. Kan and his staff if youre looking for some help growing your family.

I would recommend Dr Kan to anyone trying to get pregnant. The process involves A LOT of appointments with his office, which is tough when you (and your partner) have full time jobs, so the fact that I never waited longer than fifteen minutes in the waiting room (normally much less than that), was extremely important and helpful. Dr. Kan is always the doctor that sees you since it’s a small practice and he never rushed us out of the office, even when it was unexpectedly crowded. He is careful to explain the options of getting pregnant and why he recommends certain routes over others. I’m happy to say it worked in our case and we have a beautiful baby boy thanks to Dr Kan and his office.

Dr. Kan was more than I ever expected or could have asked for. He was extremely knowledgeable with my particular situation and would offer his advice on the best route to take as well as listen to what I wanted to do based on my own research. I could tell that he truly cared about my particular circumstances and financial situation and was trying to work with what I wanted to do rather than push any particular treatment. He was very encouraging and would schedule me every other day to make sure we got the follicles and lining to the perfect place before he initiated the trigger shot. I had been suffering from hypothalamic amenorrhea and hadnt had a cycle for two years before I went to Dr. Kan and he was able to help me get pregnant on my first cycle being monitored by him. I will forever be truly grateful as Dr. Kan helped me through one of the darkest points in my life. After I tested positive for pregnancy, Dr. Kan monitored me weekly through the first trimester to make sure everything was growing properly and my levels were normal so he could adjust any medications I was taking. He helped put my mind at ease through the time when miscarriages could be common. He was always very sweet and easy to talk to as well as extremely efficient. I highly recommend him to anyone looking as he is seriously a miracle worker.

Dr. Kan and staff have been wonderful to work with as we work to grow our family. We have absolute confidence in his abilities and we are just so excited for the next steps in our journey. We will definitely work with Dr. Kan again...there is no way we would risk working with anyone else.

We found Dr. Kan after having 3 miscarriages and having trouble conceiving our second child. We originally went in looking for an IVF consult but found out I was pregnant right before our first appointment. We went to see Dr Kan and his staff and we are so happy we did! Dr Kan is by far one of the most intelligent, professional, and caring doctors we have ever met. Based on my previous history of miscarriage, he put me progesterone, baby aspirin, and Metanx. We looked forward to our weekly appointments with him and his staff! We were so sad to graduate to our regular OB and only wish that Dr Kan’s office delivered babies too! I can not recommend him and his staff enough. If you are thinking about IVF or having trouble conceiving, you should set up an consult to meet with him. We feel so lucky that we found him.
