I have had nothing but great experiences with Dr. Kabaklian and his staff. My routine exam and cleanings were fast, efficient, thorough and painless. Dr. Kabaklian recently replaced veneers on my two front teeth that I had done with a different group. I had been really unhappy with my old veneers because of coloring and overall appearance. I was insecure and did not like having photos taken anymore because of this. Dr. Kabaklian fit me for the perfect shape and he made sure we had an exact color match. The cleaning was okay, not one of the best I had, but I also dont have gum problem, so I am almost satisfied.Doctor Kabaklian instead is good. He has a soft approach, no pushing, no terrorism and he is honest. He found nothing and told me that my pain was do to bruxism. He knows what he is doing, definitely.3 stars because they charge me after for the polish that they used for the cleaning ...really?! I think they know better that doing these kind of stupid tricks. It made me almost rethink about them...but I will give them another shot.

My first experience with Dr. Kabaklian was wonderful. The reception was friendly and efficiently and although I only came in for a consultation, I was able to walk out with my gum contouring done same day. In a matter of an hour and a half Dr Kabaklian came up with a perfect plan to make my smile something I have always wanted, explained every step to me and how to get here to there in 7 months. Walked me through prices and didn’t push anything additional on that I wouldn’t need. Everyone was so kind and straightforward. The receptionist even helped me figure out a good insurance to go with for all the work i need done. I have never walked into a dentist office and felt so relaxed and heard. The best office staff and dentist I have ever been to!!

Dr K is the best! After a few years of not having dental insurance, (or visiting a dentist) I started to get some minor tooth pain earlier this year. After doing tons of research I found Dr Kabaklian. He’s also the expert on fixing chipped and cracked teeth and I had two chipped teeth I wanted bonded as well. I scheduled an appointment, but the day before the appointment I had excruciating tooth pain, it kept me up all night. I called his office at 8am and asked if he could see me that day. He got me in right away and diagnosed what was wrong (wisdom tooth infection). I’ve since been back several times to see Dr K and I have to say he seems like a seasoned pro even tho he’s actually quite young, really knows his stuff. He’s also super friendly and always explains exactly what’s going on. When I had a procedure done that cost about $3,000 he offered a payment plan with his office at 0% interest. In the past I’ve had to put a procedure on a credit card at 15% interest, so I know how much this really helps a lot of people out. His office is also located in Newport Beach and knowing the area sometimes you get charged an arm and a leg around here, lots of rich people in Newport so they’re willing to pay extra. I’ve done plenty of research and all of his pricing is reasonably priced. Dr Kabaklian is fantastic, highly recommend!

A very, very professional staff and state of the art equipment

Anxious doesn’t begin to describe my feelings surrounding dental work, and looking for a new dentist after relocating fully scared me. I discovered Enamel, and from booking the appointment to the actual visit I love the Enamel team. They are a small office of great people who seem to genuinely enjoy what they do. I was looking for a dentist for extensive work: root canal, wisdom tooth extraction, Invisalign, and veneer replacement along with long overdue routine dental treatment- I still have a ways to go but Dr. Kabaklian and his lovely team have not only helped my smile, but has renewed my confidence and reduced my fear of the dentist along the way!

The office is very nice, the staff is amazing, and Dr. Kabaklian is the best! I’ve been to many different dentist and he outshines them in talent and knowledge. The process is always smooth and easy. I even had my wisdom teeth pulled and due to his skill I didn’t feel a thing and there was no swelling or pain after.

I found Dr. Kabaklian through my network and am so happy I did. I was going to LA for all of my dental care and have been searching for a practice in OC. I have always had great experiences here. I came for a cleaning yesterday and I was impressed with how clean and safe it felt in the office. I was in and out within 45 minutes. Also, I love that we can watch TV while having work done!

I cant say enough great things about Enamel. The first time my partner and I came in, I remember thinking that the place looked really fancy, and the last time we went to a fancy provider in Newport Beach, we got overcharged like crazy. This place is NOT like that whatsoever, and their staff, as well as Dr. Kabaklian himself, stated that they would rather charge the insurance company rather than their clients. This is EXTREMELY appreciated, given that we are both graduate students living on meager stipends, and not the wealthy clientele that I believe most Orange County locations are used to seeing. We first arrived for our cleanings and were photographed (a VERY new experience for me) by his wonderful assistant Chris Estrada, and then had our cleanings done. Our cleanings were done thoroughly and we had excellent conversation along the way with everyone involved. My partner actually exclaimed afterward that we, couldve hung out there all day since everyone was so friendly and laidback. After my cleaning, I had Dr. Kabaklian take a look at my own situation, whereby Id developed some gaps over the years after having had braces as a teenager. Dr. Kabaklian took the time to discuss my options thoroughly and even showed me some past patients hed worked with to easily explain to me how everything could be done. He even took the time to explain it to my mom via video chat! You can tell that Dr. Kabaklian is dedicated to his craft. He really cares about dentistry and making sure all of his clients have beautiful teeth. Within a few weeks, I was underway with Invisalign and have about a month left in my trays before I will have beautiful straight teeth again. I do monthly check-ins with him in the meantime and him and his staff are always, kind, compassionate, and caring. My major point of contact on his staff is Jacqueline, who is always professional and easy to talk to. I have had to move appointments around like crazy due to my own hectic schedule, and I am always accommodated, even if it is at the last minute. At this point, Ive referred at least three of my friends to Enamel because I really truly believe that this is the best and most affordable option in the OC. I cant stress enough how happy I am with Enamel and see myself being a client with them for the rest of my years here in the OC. I will update my review with photos once my teeth become beautifully straight a la Dr. Kabaklian and his craftmanship once my Invisalign is finished!

Being new to Newport, I was in need of finding a dentist. I went to see Dr. Joe after one of my friends recommended him. I was very impressed. The staff was super helpful, and I was able to get an appointment for later that week on my lunch break.The office was sleek and modern, with a very different feel than most dentists offices Ive been to. My visit was very thorough, yet efficient. I was in and out within 45 minutes (X-rays and all), and luckily I didnt have any cavities!

I have to say I was very extremely nervous to go in for a deep cleaning on one of my upper quads. Dr. K and his staff are fantastic!!! Jacqueline at the front desk was very helpful dealing with my insurance and getting me set up for the appointment. Chris took my X-rays on the coolest X-ray machine I’ve ever seen! Katie did my deep cleaning pain free and no shots required!! Great personalities!! Never in my life have I had a great experience in a dental office like this!! State of art dental office. ( The ranting was too good to be true). But I found some courage and set up an appointment online over their website. It didn’t take long to be contacted by phone and text regarding my 1st appointment. I can not describe in words how nice and easy, how comfortable and informative was my 1st appointment. From the moment I stepped in the office everything was about me, my needs, my comfort, my solutions ... explained in detail with lots of patience and clarity. After 4 appointments I can definitely say it deserves 10 stars and not 5!!! For Dr. Kabaklian you are not a source of income you are a patient that needs all the attention and care a true Dr. can provide. I used to hate ( due to my previous experience) going to a dental office. Now, I can not wait until my next appointment!!! I don’t write reviews unless I have experienced the service well enough to put my signature on!! Just make an appointment and I guarantee you will never regret it!! I can not thank them enough!!! Went here because my tooth was in a ton of pain and they got me in really fast to check it out. They made sure I wasn’t in any pain and did a great job. My tooth has no pain in it now at all. They did a excellent job and I would recommend to anyone. I plan on going regularly now and get some cleanings done. Based on a friends referral I setup an appointment at Enamel Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry. I have not been to a dentist office for a while. After we took all the x-rays and photos for a new client, Dr. Kabaklian came in and went over all my options with the two TV screens in the room as we review the x-rays and photos. He explained everything to me in a way that would help me understand what needed to be done right away and what issues I might have in the future. He then provided me with options for some cosmetic work that I would like done also. Then we went on to the cleaning during the whole process I was able to watch ESPN sports center as the cleaning was in process. There was a TV mounted to the ceiling as I sat back in the dentist chair for the cleaning.I can honesty say I found the dentist for my whole family, I would recommend Enamel to everyone.

Wow, what an amazing office. Before I even went in I was blown away. Easy to make appointments online, they immediately follow up with you regarding your requested time. Anna at the front desk was so helpful in explaining my Insurnace benefits and wiggling my appointment time around a bit when needed. Then I walked in and was surprised to see the office. It doesn’t look like the traditional old dental office. It’s so nice and modern and clean. Dr. K was knowledgable and informative. Gave me options and suggestions on how to improve my smile. I felt totally comfortable and at easy. Luckily all I needed was a cleaning. I will def go back here and have even referred my own family to go to this office.

I love going to the dentist now....Doctor Kabaklian is a great dentist with equipment of the highest quality. Theres even a television that you can watch while the Doc is working on you. I dont typically leave comments when it comes to business reviews, but I have never felt so comfortable going to the dentist (generally a place most of us dont like frequenting). The staff is very friendly and will offer a variety of refreshments upon arrival, all the equipment is state of the art and best of all, you know youre going to a fair and honest dentist. I was extremely impressed with the level of attentiveness and detail. I was even provided chap stick to prevent dried out lips when they perform a cleaning! My visit and treatment at Dr. Kabaklians surgery was amazing. I had my teeth fully x-rayed and Dr. Joe then took the time to go through all of my options extensively. He patiently explained everything to me and offered the best advice and the most appropriate as well as most cost effective solution. I had my wisdom teeth extracted just a couple of days later and a large chip repaired. I had heard horror stories from others who had wisdom teeth extracted and was expecting at least a week of pain and discomfort. However, after just 24 hours I was eating whatever I wanted again and at work with very little pain. The chip in my front tooth was repaired perfectly and no one can notice that anything was ever damaged. Aside from his miracle practical work, Dr. Joe is also a lovely guy who clearly cares about what he does and how his patients feel. Id also like to compliment the practices administrator, Anna, who was amazing at keeping me informed of what was happening with my treatment and always made time for a friendly chat. The place just has a generally great vibe. Thanks to all at the practice, and to everyone else, I cant recommend this place enough.

Dr. Kabaklian is truly a great dentist. Before seeing him, I did extensive research on dentists in the area and I choose him out of at least 30. Why? Because I felt he was extremely knowledgeable in his field and more. Initially my dad had seen him first but after seeing him too, I knew I wanted him to be my dentist as well. Just yesterday I had my first wisdom tooth extraction. Honestly yes, I was nervous, anxious, and a bit scared, but I cant imagine the surgery going any better. He was patient, kind, and yet firm, but in the way you want a dr to be. Coming up soon I will be fixing a few cavities that need to be taken care of and Im sure Dr. Kabaklian will do a great job.

Dr. Kabaklian is the best! First off, his primary concern is protecting the integrity of your own smile and well being. I was considering Veneers vs. potentially very intense orthopedic treatment. Dr. Kabaklian referred me to a great ortho, and after my consult I informed him of my options. He selflessly helped me decide the treatment that led away from his personal practice, and to the orthopedic referral, where my natural teeth would render the final outcome (perfected). My orthopedic treatment eventually brought me back to get a few teeth extracted. I have never had a cavity, let alone any teeth extracted, so naturally I had some anxiety. I just had 4 fillings replaced and chipped tooth and gum repair today. I have to admit, I have been to many dentists and Dr. Joseph Kabaklians practice was extremely clean and organized with the latest technology all around.Dr. Joseph has a gentle and caring approach to dentistry. While he was performing oral work he put on Netflix TV and It made the time go by quickly. It was quite painless and he worked quickly and diligently while explaining the process during the procedure.I have my wife scheduled for cleaning and will bring the family as well. Dr. Joseph Kabaklian you have won me over and made my smile wider and brighter. Highly recommend. Thank you.

I love the dentist aka mouths spa but if you have a fear of the dentist then you must check out Enamel Newport Beach. The office is state of the art, in fact, its easily one of the nicest dental practices Ive ever seen. All high end brand new equipment, including luxurious seats, ipod controlled accessories, and best of all....Netflix for your viewing pleasure. I also love the Perrier in the fridge in the waiting area and the tinted glasses they put on you to create the mood for the cleaning. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and Dr. Joe is a gentle giant. He understands how to make his patients feel comfortable despite the fact that sometimes there are drills involved. Overall experience is a 10 out of 10 and if youre looking for a change, or simply a new dentist, do not overlook Enamel in Newport Beach.
