I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel initially, but it is definitely something I would recommend trying at least once. I went in skeptical and left feeling relaxed as well as revitalized. Never had acupuncture before and Dr. Juline made my introduction to it a pleasant experience. The entire session is very soothing and calming. She listens to everything I have to say with patience and understanding and adjusts the session as needed. The place is very clean, relaxing music, and she always makes sure I’m comfortable, she checks on me often during the session. Always wears a mask and washes her hands, offers me water at the end of the session and asks my feedback regarding the session. Definitely an excellent place to treat your pain and stress. I’ll recommend it to my family and friends.

I was skeptical about having acupuncture, but after coming to Juline that has changed. Julines presence alone is very soothing and comforting. Juline asks where does it hurt? And she actually listens. Shes kind, gentle, and clean. Shes is very precise on each pressure point. Shes hit pressure points that make my whole body vibrate, its definitely a different experience. After all needles are in place, she then makes sure I am comfortable, puts on very soothing music, turns off the lights, and helps me relax. The bed is warmed up which makes it so much easier to take a small nap during this cold weather. In between, She does check on me to make sure that I am fine and that Im comfortable. She always wears a mask and washes her hands before and after attending me. Under her care, my pain level has dropped and Im able to walk more comfortably. I would definitely recommend Juline because not only is she focused on relieving pain but also on overall health, you wont be disappointed.

I developed severe back pain a few years ago due to sports injuries. It got bad to the point i could barely walk. I had seen a few chiropractors as well as a few other acupuncturist, and the results were nil. I didnt know what to expect walking into this place. Ive never done acupuncture before, but have been dealing with Plantar Fasciitis and other nerve damage, using every method out there. Its not something that can be cured in 1 day, as it took years to develop, it could take even longer to heal. Im so happy to have added Juline to my team. I started going to Juline after my doctor recommended it since my PT wasn’t working and I honestly didn’t expect any results. I could not have been more wrong! Broke my neck at age 14 C-7. Have always had neck pain and ive tried Western Medicine by taking pills to help with pain and this is alot better. I went to see Juline for painful shoulders and other body pain. I had no idea what to expect from Acupuncture. Juline is delightful and so thorough with helping one with their health care issues. It took a few sessions, but finally we found the heart of my problems in my neck. The first time Juline treated my neck, I felt it letting go of its knots, tight muscles, and extreme tension. I was able to turn my head and my neck adjusted itself without the chiropractor! A first, ever. The chiropractor really had to wrench my neck which also pulled muscles. Now I find my muscles are much less knotted and feeling better all the time. I see what they mean when they say that acupuncture frees energy to flow through your body. I am very happy with the results!

Let me begin by saying that I am a major skeptic when it comes to proper healthcare. There is no denying that there is a staggering amount of misinformation and special interest groups more concerned with what’s going on in your pocketbook than what’s going on in your body. It’s 2019 now and unfortunately, there are more unethical care practices than you can shake a stick at. It shames me to say that the Hippocratic Oath has become a hypocritical one. At least I thought that until I found Juline Busuioc at NewportCare Acupuncture to be a true diamond in the rough. Just to say “she cares” would be an understatement. Her devotion to her practice as well as her patients is second to none. I could be described as a person who likes to stay informed and I take advantage of any opportunity to educate myself. That said, Juline has just as much ease speaking in technical terms as she does laymen terms for a guy like me. When it comes to personal health, no question is too stupid and no concern is too small. Frankly, it’s hard not to walk out feeling like you made a lifelong friend!My diagnosis;I consider my health to be above average. I exercise 5 days a week, I drink water regularly, I get plenty of sleep and try to watch what I eat (although I could stand to have a few more greens in my diet. Couldn’t we all?). Roughly 6 months ago upon meeting with Juline for my first Acupuncture treatment and physical assessment. I was experiencing some back pain that my chiropractor just couldn’t remedy. After her examination and treatment, she had discovered swelling/inflammation in my large intestine and a high resting bodily temperature (which I was aware of because I typically run hot most of the time). Only because of her dedication to healing and extensive background in Chinese medicine was she able to detect and diagnose my condition. While all diagnoses are different, Juline prescribed me the herb necessary to counteract my condition (I’m leaving the name out for obvious reasons). She taught me about the Physical Constitution or P.C. we all have in our bodies and how, at times, they need altering to give us balance. In this instance, I found that I no longer had to shed the blankets off of me late at night or leave the fan on full blast just to sleep soundly.After finishing my first herbal prescription and follow up appointment a couple of months later without any major changes to my diet, the swelling and inflammation had decreased 70-80% without ingesting one single pharmaceutical. Even so, Juline is a perfectionist just like me and holds the care she provides to the highest standard. On our second appointment/exam, she discovered a high amount of phlegm in my body which she accurately attributed to a consumption of dairy in my diet (once again, she was right). She prescribed me a different herb aimed at reducing the amount of phlegm held in the body. While all people are different, the physical changes I experienced included; clearer skin, better sleep, less snoring and better overall respiratory function.Needless to say, that if you’ve read this far, it should be clear to you what to expect from Juline at NewportCare Acupuncture.
